in my opinion, i prefer Cardano, Tron, NEM, Ziliqa and IGNIS
For me I am not really looking at the lowest price coins, rather low marketcap. In that case, a lot of project have less than 0.5$ but are oversubscribed and have little room for growth.
The top 5 coins price under $0.05 per each? Well, if we want to get the best one, we need to look at the coinmarket cap. There are some good coins with the hi-tech concept having the small low price. You can analyze some coins here:

The price of an individual coin is not really relevant unless you also consider circulating supply... i.e., supply x price = market cap.
It is also a good idea to consider maximum possible supply, as this can impact the price... some coins only have a small proportion of total possible supply in circulation.
The only way price by itself would be relevant is if you couldn't buy fractions of a coin, so you needed thousands of dollars to buy 1 BTC but couldn't buy 0.1 BTC. The fact that you can buy fractions of coin means that $500 worth of BTC and $500 worth of a low price coin both cost the same.
its good for investment on low price coins but its will work only long term investment if you investment on low price coins once price will grow up you will receive huge profits but its depended by your select coins hence before selct coins you should know about project then invest, XVG,TRX,IOST,KIN,DOGE,RDD this coins good for long term investment

There are actually a lot many good coins under 50 cents, though I dont understand your reason of evaluating those. If you think that cheaper coins have high success rates to grow more, well thats not exactly true.
The reason for more of these coins being under 50 cents is because there total or circulating supply is much more when compared to costly coins.
Still for your list, here are my top 5:

I think at this moment lot of brandnew cryptocurrency coin under 50 cent. you can look up in CMC there is a lot in there like ADA, TRX or ARDOR they are cheap just because they have huge amount of circulating suplly coin. I will not say they are bad investment, but IMO it will give us a little bit return because they all already list on top 100 CMC. Sometimes I try my luck to invest on brand new coin or ICO that are cheap in price, but it come with big risk & sometimes with big rewards too.
If you're looking for cryptocurrencies under fifty cents, I would highly recommend BAT (Basic Attention Token). Another project that is in the price range but is a little over $0.50 right now at $0.54 is 0x project (ZRX). Both projects will be in the dollars.
Yes this is not an important price but a market capitalization. You see the coins the wrong way. It does not matter if the coin is $ 900 but if it has a small market capitalization then it has more potential than a coin with $ 0.6 as the price and high market capitalization. The most important is the product, technology, capitalization. And the population needs will be a coin in exchange.
