Your top 5 African countries already showing interest in cryptocurrencies?

The number one without doubt should be the country of the scammers, I know you should already have an idea of what country I'm talking about, oh and if you do not any idea what country I'm talking about then you never surf the internet, the country is called Nigeria.

South Africa

Kenya

zimbabwe

Ghana
Lols, believe me Nigerians are more victims of scam. And again I don't blame them much, I blame their government. They are the giant of Africa but 70 percent jobless, no reasonable empowerment.

I am African and in my country there are many Nigerians and from what I have seen for many years, Nigerians are responsible for many crimes in my country, from murder crimes, murder to albinos because of witchcraft, stealing bones from the dead in cemeteries , steal our gold, deceive the citizens of my country with their practices of witchcraft

nigeria is one of the best couintry in african it can using crypto currency. south africa is also using crypto.ghana, kenya zimbabwe those all are using crypto currency. in the south africa black money is more high for that purpose that country people use mostly crypto currency.for using crypto currency we need security for that reason they choose bit coin it is one of the good site for using crypto currency.

Do not praise many of these countries because they are very dangerous, especially if you are a poor person

You mush have had quite an amount of experiences to be able to conclude that Nigerians are the only ones responsible for the social, physical and economic woes that have happened in your country but its important to know that all over the world are people who are deficient in morality are present.

The subject matter is about cryptocurrency, for me I would take South Africa at the top and not be blinded by population or being giant of a thing to decide. I have seen fintech companies starting out from South Africa and projects coming from there compared to other Africa countries then after that the rest of the countries can take the remaining slots.

I think the leader of the pack is South Africa and in close second might be Kenya {BitPesa} ....The problem is M-PESA is

very popular in these African countries and Bitcoin came after M-PESA. Bitcoin became very unpopular in these third world

countries when the MemPool were spammed and the miners fees went through the roof. $1 to $8 miners fees might not be

a lot for people in 1st world countries, but it is definitely an issue for people in 3rd world countries.  Roll Eyes

I would assume that one of the top five leading countries would be one that has had issues with corrupt governments, land title issues, entrepreneurial spirit, more than 5 NGO's present and if their remittance is higher than their GDP then they would be a great candidate for cryptocurrencies.  I would love to see blockchain integrate into various countries throughout Africa and create prosperity and get rid of this whole gift giving notion that charities and people in the West feel the continent needs.

I'm not an African but I know some people from Nigeria, especially from Lagos, who are very much fond on cryptocurrencies. As a matter of fact, the forum where I started studying and learning about Bitcoin and other digital currencies has many of its members come from that Nigerian state.

So judging by the number of people involved there as well as the number of conferences about Blockchain and cryptocurrency summits being held there in that country, perhaps I can say that that place is the top leading African country enamored to virtual assets such as Bitcoin and others.

Any country with high inflation or where its common to move money across borders or where there's limited access to banking or corrupt banking is going to be a good market for cryptocurrencies.

Where did you find this news from? Something unexpected without any relevant reference doesn't make a sense at all. Usually governments do not like the idea of cryptocurrencies because they cannot control it. But as you are saying something different, it would be worth reading the source of your information.
This is how news are created Sir, by the time everyone would have shared from experience, even you will learn  A new thing from bitcointalk users
