Very good video. I think all the reasons are correct. For me however the most important reason why I trust bitcoin is that is backed by the SHA-256 algorithm and if you read through different topics in the technical board you will see that is quite impossible to break this algorithm for many years to come. That is enough for me to trust bitcoin easily. All other reasons I saw in your video just raised even more my trust in it.

To sum this video up. Bitcoin is trustworthy because it is:

1. It is open sourced.
2. Predictable and transparent.
3. Network up-time and resilience.
4. Banks are untrustworthy.
5. Don't trust... verify.

Op, it would be helpful if you would add time stamps with each point listed in the description.

Best video to be shown to newbies as well as even to those who criticize Bitcoins without even knowing the power of its transparency and technology that it consists of. The way you showed everyone was just amazing, as this is what everyone needs, some open fresh air that they can explore and listen to you aside as well as understand the aspects of why they should have Bitcoins.

That was a nice idea to make such a video, but I think that we should make some kind of a thread, in which we can share different videos about bitcoin.
It could have been very helpful for newbies, because it is always easier to learn thanks to someone, than doing it on your own.
Also, it is fairly much easier to just watch a video and listen, than browsing through endless topics to find just one thing, right?
That is why we should encourage bitcoin-related Youtubers to make legit videos about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, that may attract more people to our community, help the newbies and obviously it can also make the author profitable.

Already there are enough videos which are tells about the bitcoin and ways to make bitcoin in the bitcointalk or other places. These kind of videos are promptly provided in the forum to get the videos for it. If his video channel set-up monetization then he simply earn money by your views. I suggest newbies all to check the rise and rise of bitcoins video and mastering bitcoins article, both are good for newbies.

OP, I would like to suggest that these reasons to trust bitcoin is included in your post in a textual form so that the readers will not have to leave this forum in order to know them. Even just the key words or the main point. And then add the referral link for more elaborated discussion. Though I appreciate your video for it contributes and give more inputs about our knowledge about bitcoin.

Yes, I agree. I send the link to a few newbies and some of them could not access it, because they were firewalled at work. < Youtube was blocked on the proxy server > The other reason might also be that some countries have very limited and expensive bandwidth and videos are not a fitting educational tool for them, because it drains their data.

A short summary of the points in text will help these people. ^smile^

Bitcoin has lasted a few years and even with some problems with exchanges and people saying that bitcoin is dead, it seems to keep coming back. This makes me believe that it will last a long time.

In behalf of the newbies I would like to personally thank you for making a tutorial video made for newbies. Actually there are a lot of videos about bitcoin for newbies out there but I am happy to see another video for newbies. Just like the saying goes the more the merrier, I mean the more videos out there the newbies will have more choices and get more ideas on the web about bitcoin.
