Since BCH dump I've sold it all and switched to investing in BTC and ETH, I think this is the right decision. Maybe if I have more money I will invest in a coin that has a price of under $1 or some potential tokens.
Bitcoin is always the number one follow by Ethereum before you can think of the likes of Neo, Zach, Now, awc, etc
There are many top coins to have in ones portfolio. Users can check coinmarketcap to see different kinds of altcoins to buy. Based on my own choice i will love to select the Top 15 in the cryptomarket i mean in coinmarketcap. The likes of BITCOIN, ETHEREUM, XRP, LITECOIN, EOS, BNB, MONER, XLM, and TRON. These sets of altcoins will be very good to have in ones portfolio
Top coins will not leave the same ROI as the low marketcap altcoins, I prefer to add more low marketcap altcoins from the cheap prices thanks to the bear market.

It is cheap atm, has some advantages, like no transaction fees, has a large community,
a lot of well-known partnerships and if the coordicide works, there's a good chance of a price increase.

For now I will prefer Dash, Binance coin and BTC. But it all depends on you, I think everyone will have different suggestions, so it is better for you to observe the movement of the graph before making a decision, choose according to the observations you make and do not let you make a decision that will make you regret.Input is appreciated!

I would recommend Binance coin, Ethereum, NEM, Bittorent, NOIA and of course Bitcoin. And i want to recommend more coins but its to many to mention and this only some of the best to hold for short and long term.
By the way, it will also depends on how many of each coins you are holding to get a lot of profit in case the market keep soaring up.

You should definitely include Doge, Zcash, Monero, BNB, TRX and BTT in your portfolio. The last couple of coins are curated by the richest Chinese entrepreneur. BNB is the best exchange's token, we all know that Binance is the best trading platform in many ways. As for the first three coins, it is a classic, it is strange that they are not included in your list.
I didn't saw litecoin, digibyte, and many other coins that I like. What we know about this portfolio? Its just a picks from some random person, each of us have a similar list. When we choose coins to invest each of us have a different criteriums, we make decisions and we like to take a peak on different portfolios, to make comparisons, sometimes we like what we see, sometimes we don't, anyway we need to respect other people choices.
Top coins now will not be on top forever, top 10 has been changed many times in the past and I believe next year we will see some changes again. Bitcoin and ethereum will stay on first two places, but who be on thrid place we will see. That's why we need to have some picks from lower part of the alts list, maybe some of them will rise a lot in the next period.

If you already have and holding those coins then you're good, but in addition you can also add elrond network (ERD) because i think this project is solid and has what it takes to take over the place of the coins you already have. You can learn about the project and be amaze.

Before suggesting some coins to you, I would like to caution you to perform researches on them before investing because these coins were identified based on the conclusion and findings of my personal researches. In a nut shell, you can also consider coins like DIVI, Bitrue BTR and WAN. These coins have great potentials of becoming huge on the market some time to come because it has got the working product, use case, good team work and expertise etc that a project needs to survive. I think the most important is bitcoin, then you can vary in choosing ALT, depending on which one you think is good, I prefer to rank 10th on CMC, or indeed those who have good vision for the long term.

Top 10 coins are worth a good investment. We know that many of the coins are experiencing very poor developments. I personally focus heavily on the top 10 coins. But it also doesn't close the possibility that beyond the 10 coins you mentioned it, there are still many coin names that have great potential, such as:
BNB (has a great exchange of Binance)
Dash
Neo
BSV
These are the coins that you should consider also because they have a large volume.

Based of my opinion I have top altcoin my destination want I have much money I will collect ETH, BNB, XRP, TRON, BCH, DOGE, LTC, TEN, OPQ, and QRL for my future assets, about ETH we do not have worried because ETH as payment platform for all ICOs and IEO . Other coin you can invest with BNB and BCH for getting much profit.
