Nice thread! Although, that 5-0 from Barca...Why did you include it? lol I'm getting some nasty flashbacks from that game, they really fucked us, that Barcelona   And I gotta say, the Man Utd vs Bayern game is the reason why I always expect some crazy shit to happen in the final minutes of any final.

Spain NT were at that point the best NT in the world. They had won the last WC in 2010 (against Netherlands, btw, @Harko posted a link above), and won the Euro 2008 and 2012. They were the main favorites to win the 2014 WC...But what happened in the group stages vs Netherlands was hands down one of the most unexpected result in a World Cup.

One of the craziest final seconds I've seen in a English football match...Context: Aggregate score was 2-2, it's injury time and either team needed just one goal to go to the Championship final.

As a Barcelona fan, this remain one of my most favorable win(and 6-1 vs PSG), coming back from a 7-0 loss to Bayern in the preceding season, and this match also produced the infamous Messi dribble against Boateng

Spain vs Netherlands 1-0  World Cup 2010 Final
During this period the Spanish National Team were an absolute joy to watch due to their tiki-taka style of play and at the world cup the Netherlands had a stellar performance too

Uruguay vs Ghana 2010 World Cup

As a individual from Africa, It was a memorable experience for me as Ghana were the last team from Africa left in the tournament, I remember jubilating so hard when Ghana were awarded the penalty as the last kick of the game after Suarez handed a goal-bound ball. Unfortunately, Ghana missed the penalty and lost the game on penalties as well

Man - definitely a "historic" one - that was unreal, I really couldnt believe my eyes, lol. Even my father called and asked if he was watching the correct match, lol.

Oh and I also have some Basketball moments in mind, will maybe share at a later point.

Sorry in advance to all brazilian users, but the game that came to my mind in a heartbeat, was the semifinal from World Cup 2014: Brazil - Germany 1-7

This was just madness, it looked so easy for Germany to score. Brazil just completely fell apart and everyone was in disbelief, what they just witnessed. I remember, I lost count during these crazy 6 minutes middle of first half. Germany took the foot off the pedal, otherwise they might have scored 15+. Felt really bad for all the brazilian fans, but they showed class and accepted that Germany was just way superior that day, chapeau.

I have lots of others memorable moments, but these are not football/soccer related, so probably not that interesting for the majority of users

Well, with all that Corona drama going on and being forced to stay at home for most of the time... Why not share our favorite matches of all times guys? Matches you want to watch from their first to last minute!

I am quite a homegrown guy to be honest but I would still love to do my walks, especially now that the weather is getting better. Anyway, recently I took advantage of this "stay home opportunity" to enjoy some of my favorite matches of all times! I have watched most of these at least 10 times and I never get bored. Even though it is hard for me to decide on my favorite ones, here is my temporary Top 4 + 1 (random order!).

Liverpool - Alaves 5-4 (2001)

Goals are the quintessence of football, I mean it! Yeah, there may even be a nice 0-0 every now and then but I am definitely a fan of many goals. The UEFA CUP final 2001 (was UEFA Cup back then and not Europa League) was a goal-fest! The final was decided by an own goal by the way (golden goal rule actually) - thank god that golden goal rule has been a short-lived one. Liverpool back in that day couldnt be compared with nowaday´s Liverpool and Alaves with some impressive rookie performance. I just love this match!

Manchester United - Bayern Munich 2-1 (1999)

I just love finals, no matter what sport, I love them! And whats to say about that incredible Champions League final in 1999 in Camp Nou between Red Devils and Bayern Munich. Even though I am Greek, I have been living in Germany and almost all of my friends were Bayern supporters...

Yeah, I admit, that final wasnt top quality over the whole 90 minutes BUT... the finale compensated us for a hundred matches, didnt it? What happened in those last minutes was unbelievable...

Liverpool - AC Milan 3-3 (3-2 penalties) (2005)

Liverpool once again! That Champions League final was played in Athens (while we also had Olympics in Greece). Well... Liverpool with one of the biggest (if not the biggest) upsets in European Cup history, winning the trophy after penalties. Whatever team you support, this game is ... a dream come true and advertising for football!

Barcelona - Real Madrid 5-0 (2010)

What a night, what a night... I love Barca, always have! And this match will always hold a special place in my heart! Yeah, sounds dramatic but honestly, it was awesome, wasnt it?!

Best Barca of all times dominated Mourinho´s Real Madrid in his first "Clasico". Well, not much to say, an unforgettable night for me and it all began with Xavi's first goal of the match.

Greece Euro Champion 2004

Yeah, not a single match but rather the whole tournament - a miracle and a dream come true for every Greek. No words needed really and even while writing this, I am getting euphoric once more. Check this video out, watch the pictures and listen to those Greek reporters. Owning Portugal twice with the EURO being played there... and CR7 crying in the end... priceless! I have watched all Greek matches dozens of times! Really some of the best days in my life!
