Airdrops are a great way to earn free crypto too.
I keep an active list of airdrops if you copy / paste the twitter url in my signature. On my profile there's an easy to read Google spreadsheet that I update daily.
I weed out the obvious wastes of time. AELF and Swarm are good examples of active airdrops that are already on exchanges.

I wanted to join signature campaigns that badly, but I guess I should start from the bottom, where I can learn the basics, how will it work, what to do, etc. 
Btw, thanks for this thread, I guess this will help others who has the knowledge but can't get merits
To get merits, you need several important things, including knowledge (which you can learn), skills (which you should learn, practice to sharpen your skills Btw, thanks for this thread, I guess this will help others who has the knowledge but can't get merits , in particular how to use forum functions, search, etc. and English writing skill), experience (which you can get by spending more time in the forum and in the crypto world); and positive attitude (which will get you positive viewpoint about merit system, that in turn will make you readily to help others in the forum).

It's good if newbies can join signature campaigns in the forum after merit system launched about 2 months ago. However, I think that newbies should focus on learning, getting knowledge first before thinking about doing anything else in the forum. This should be their first priority when joining the forum, which is useful and can help them a lot, help them free.
Furthermore, newbies should post constructive threads when joining signature campaign, should avoid as much as possible spamming threads. The reason is spamming will make their post history looks badly, ugly, then they will probably never get merits in the future. No one want to send their sMerits to a users, who always spam the forum since his/her beginning day in the forum.
