i want to join twitter campaign but i want to know how much participants already?

If we are going to use TVE, Why there is in the rules saying that we need to use hashtag for our own tweets? that doesn't apply for TVE Unless you are talking about 2 options here: 1 TVE and the other using your website to report those retweets/ tweets.
We will track:
