There will no longer be allowed math problems on this thread.

Unless you can solve this:

When does 14 + 23 = 19 + 45
This can be solved with a simple substitution cipher. The key is below:
1 => 4
2 => 3
3 => 5
4 => 2
5 => 9
9 => 8

OMG! That is exactly right! How long did it take you to solve it? You guys are too smart for me on this board. Just one more, and if anybody gets it, I'll give up on trying to stump you.

When does 112 - 44 = 3 + 8

When 3 is a variable meaning 60?

I derped hard at making a constructed post.

I'm disappointed that the press called it a "difficult calculus conundrum," but this captcha is still epic. Smiley

Let's see how smart you all are:

When does 4 X 5 = 32 ?

If it helps any, 4 + 5 = 13.

EASY, Check this out:

1. Just connect a straight on the ends of number 5 to make it look like 8, so 4 x 8 = 32

2. Make the plus sign look like 4, so 4 and 4 and 5 = 13.

Would you all mind taking a moment of silence for my hamster.

RIP Ash the Hamster. 2011-2012. He was one of my best friends, and my favorite pet ever.

They say it happens in threes. First, Matthew's mom. Now your hamster. Did Ash stayed out all night a lot prior to his passing?

No but I noticed the liquor supply was dwindling. How'd you know?

Didn't need the hint, since I even prefer base 6. The multiplication table is rather snazzy:
12345
112345
24101214
3132023
42432
541

Trivia: All prime numbers bigger than or equal to 116 (=710) end in 1 or 5.

What's wrong with this picture?

I didn't realize that was Sue with Wikipedia. I thought it was a random editor. What I found amusing was that a search name would be located below a Wikipedian Face. Try this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demi_moore

The fact that you were looking for Linda Lovelace and got this huge spam banner in your face by an organization that doesn't have enough donations because they don't accept Bitcoin?
