Full KYC will be the one of the main reason for a crypto-gambling site, especially for new ones, to crash early on their business. Should just be asked only if there are suspicious withdrawal or those who hit the site's alarm system.

If someone will ask me if  I want to pass KYC to any company online(those that I don't know personally because of distance), I will always say that I refuse.
I won't be passing any form of my identity if it is not required to my work.
For gambling purposes, I prefer to be as much private as I could and as the company offer.
I don't have a lot of money but it's still safer to be just anonymous in the cyberspace specially if it includes money and assets.
That's what others gamblers are probably thinking too, so it's such a bad idea to implement KYC on this kind of platform.

Maybe for minority, requiring is fine, but for majority(as I assume) aren't into this.

In the Tower.bet team we also eagerly waiting slots, we've working on design and concept since the winter, so we expect it to be awesome  Grin
Just wondering if it's just one slot or are there more slots coming? If there is just one, let's hope it got a lot of features like bonus games and free spins.

If it is original slot game, I guess it will be one slot only for the start and tower.bet may add more slot after that. I have to agree that slot games should have free spin or bonus feature as it is a feature that makes slot lover is interested to play. One other feature can be a progressive jackpot with initial jackpot funded by tower.bet.

★Bitvest.io★ Play Plinko or Invest!

Also FYI we plan to add ability of purchasing crypto via Moonpay some time soon.

That would also be a nice addition to the site. Stake also recently added this feature and it works really well.
Personally, I am waiting on the slots to be released  Wink. I like playing the crash game, but slots are also always fun to play on!

On tower.bet we keep track of so-called transaction risk score. We are long time partners with several services that ensure that we will be notified if any shady transaction goes through, in this cases such funds will not be processed.

How does this work tho? Potentially any transaction could be classified as shady, and as such payment can be denied or witheld for prolonged amounts of time.

Have you heard about services like chainalysis, clain? We use similar service provider on Tower.bet. We do not want to withheld anyone funds, as nothing good come with this, lol. Rather we do not want to even accept transaction that looks very bad, e.g. marked as connected with hack or ransom.

There are certain factors to hit the alarm. Surely, it mostly depends on deposit and withdrawal activity*.

Besides, Tower.bet can verify if those transactions came from a legitimate way e.g users deposit > bet > win > withdraw or something along those lines. I mean, it's not usual for a user if they will just deposit to take advantage of the exchange feature.

But as I mentioned, abuse of that exchange feature might be too early to talk for now.

Based on what other gambling sites do to combat money laundering, I am guessing that Tower.bet examine the volume of bets placed by individuals and check how often they actually gamble and how often they simply use the exchange.

They might also enlist the help of firms like Ciphertrace in order to resolve this issue. Check this example out.

So the scammers are trying to launder their money not just to gambling sites but different exchanges and platforms. It's great that the tower.bet team is doing their best to avoid scammers use their platform for money laundering instances.
This isn't new and its just a typical rule for most gambling sites that once you do make a deposit then you'll need to hit up some wager before you can able to withdraw and also they aren't blind

when they do saw some suspicious transaction that do involve big money and that would surely turn the red lights.Reading off into most gambling sites terms and conditions then its clearly stated on most of the time that they do have the rights to ask out some identity verification or some sort if they do find out something suspicious.

Its not new anymore that gambling sites and other services is being used to mix up or launder money.

Agree. In crypto gambling, once users see that KYC is needed, I'm sure they will not even test the site.

Asking KYC on the Trading platform, for example, is different when KYC is asked by a gambling site.

I agree that additional verification should just be asked by a gambling site if there's something fishy about the user's activity.

For sure that will happen since many scammers right now seeking for platform which doesn't have any strict rules regarding on this matter so best for towerbet to have a full KYC with selfie holding the valid ID of the withdrawal requestor so that they can avoid this things and drive away those people who want to use the platform for their dirty business.

I know this suggestion is hard to provide for others who want an anonymity but for betterment it should be implemented.

If that's the case then it's better to remove or disable the exchanger rather than complying with mandatory KYC. Or there are certain requirements before anyone can use it.

But anyhow, the exchange abuse might be far from happening*. We should not think of that now.

I disagree. I know you have good intentions behind your suggestion, but full KYC could prove detrimental for Tower.bet since it usually scares away crypto gamblers who primarily play in these sites thanks to the anonymity aspect.

If they weren't afraid to reveal themselves, they would simply stick to popular FIAT casinos and upload their KYC without any issues. Crypto gambling sites should only invoke KYC under suspicious conditions.
Completely agree on what you had said. KYC on this cryptocurrency market is never been an appealing thing to anyone yet they do directly avoid when they do saw a particular gambling site
do impose such requirement or been asked out.As said if they arent afraid on showing off their faces or showing their identities then they would just simply stick to fiat.
No crypto based business will really oppose on what people been seeking on this market which is on that anonymity side. They fail to give it out then its expected for them to fail.

Recently tried Crash game on tower.bet site. Overall pretty good experience, there left more improvement though. I guess, if tower.bet shows $ value instead of bitcoin value it would much easy to recognize.
What improvement could it be mind giving the team some information or feedback? well the price of bitcoin changes from time to time I think they would likely implement it I guess you can just use a third party service which you can convert your current money to $.

Jack of all trades 💯
It is nice to have an on site exchange, however the minimum to exchange is 10$, which is quite high...
Is there an update when we would be able to exchange TWG against real coin?

Bear in mind that the exchange feature is not the main service of tower.bet. If it has too low min exchange, I'm worrying that tower.bet will be used by many people for the exchange purpose only. $10 is still reasonable amount, if you think that it is too high then simply dont use it or keep increasing your balance till you meet the minimum amount if you still want to use the exchange. I do believe that other sites with similar feature also has minimum amount for it.

That's aggregable as the main business is for gambling and if that statement is right, instead of using it for that sole purpose, chances that it will be use as exchange, users can send out coins then use the exchange it serves as venue to mixed their assets.
Not good for the reason that gamblers can launder assets in a small forms of exchange.
This will only happen if the exchange rate is for you low compared to other exchange site, This could be easily the main thing for people if they know that's the case. But seeing the exchange rate in this casino, It's a bit close to other exchange and I think there's no reason to here just to exchange some tokens. In mixing assets, There are different services that offers that, Why would people bother going here just to mixed up some tokens.

So for small users who do not want to do KYC, tower.bet can be used as an alternative. 2nd possible reason is mixing service or in worst case it can be used for money laundering, I have seen some cases where users used gambling site for this purpose. So dont think that there is no reasons for people to go here just for that purpose. It is always possible.
