Over here in Australia, it's about 1 million buckaroos for a decent house or a decent location. I'd say any time after 20 years from now would be good.

I think this should happen very soon that 1 bitcoin will worth more than a bike. My prediction (with my finger in the wind) is that buying a house with 1 BTC will be a reality in 10-15 years' time.

1 house for 1 bitcoin is still far, you could probably buy a nipa hut or shanty could be possible if price would reach atleast $1000..

If you find is worth equal to the price of bitcoin you sell. Within one year or three years it won't happen. Even after 25 years I don't think the value of one bitcoin will go equal to the value of at least an 1BHK House.

i believe in 50 years later everyone can trade house for 1 single bitcoin, we can't predict the future but i still believe that we can buy house in that time for 1 bitcoin

We can't predict about this price pump and dump in bitcoin. may its possible after 2050 but not in present years.
May be sudden big change can in come bitcoin's price rate. if anything happen like that only possibilities are there else no chance.

That really depends on where you want to buy a house. In some areas of the world I think you can buy a house for $500 so I'd say in that case you can buy a house for a single bitcoin by summer 2016.
But if you are talking about a proper house in proper area which would cost around $1,000,000. Well, maybe in 20-30 years or even never.
Depends on where OP want to buy that house. In some less lucky parts of the word you can buy a "house" even today for 1 BTC. If you are thinking about the states or Europe the most likely never.
If he need a small house in a village then it is possible without any difficulty even today, while the houses in the cities require a large amount of money and for that the bitcoin will require a hard struggle to reach that value, maybe it take about 10 years.

Cannot really tell... but you will probably buy a new house with 5 or 10 BTC anytime between 5 and 10 more years. Let's be optimistic!
In my country the bitcoin will have to reach at $50,000 to buy a small house for a family of 4 or 5 people. Will it reach that value within 5 to 10 years? I wish that it reach there and maybe with the struggle of traders and its universal adoption make it to reach there, then it will be able to buy a house for us. Jump to:
