Do you make much money trading off TA? If everyone is looking at the same patterns, do they become a self-fulfilling prophecy or do they get competed away?
What I'm trying to ask is, is this more profitable than a buy and hold strategy?

What is the significance of the triangle in the second link? It looks like something is being squeezed, but which direction will it break out and how can you predict which way it will go?

That indeed represents a pennant and squeeze in price. It seems to have broken up which signals a bullish move (the market has "determined a direction" after much uncertainty aka consolidation).

Regardless of the TA you provide, I think most should consider its still a gamble.
I mean you can have the greatest trade setup, but what should be mentioned is if theres something that can recover your price loss.
And should be mentioned for every trader who wants to trade.
