I had gotten mine finally, but it was way too much unexplained problems for me.  To me, and others, we are not wealthy, and to not only have my funds tied up, but to not receive any email replies, was undefensible.

By opening an OKPAY account, I was able to get my money, but OKPAY itself was way to flakey with the amount of date they requested, including uploading pictures of my bank balance, and all too much information, just to have my money transferred.  I was a big promoter of TradeHill on other forums where we move large--and need--large amounts of bitcoins, but no more, this is just too risky.

I'm glad and appreciative that TradeHill didn't go totally rogue, as some of the bitcoin 'holders' have done...but for those of us who need some forum of useful *anonymous!* currency in the underground economy, it's no longer as vital and valuable as it once was.   Fortunately, I wasn't a speculator, so the actual value of btc wasn't as important as the simple fact that it had one: a value that we all agreeed on...but we need a for of bank that isn't so dependent on human error...

Doesnt anyone think thats this is quite a funny situation (even though its still quite serious)?

Think about it:

Jered says he will reply to emails - the opposite happens
Jered says Paxum transfers are delayed but wires will go out - the opposite happens
Jered says he will meet anyone in San Francisco (told one of my friends there to go have lunch with him to see if he still is in the country and ask some questions) - the opposite happens

So but now that Paxum transfers are going trough and wires not, isnt that a bit strange? Doesnt Tradehill fund their Paxum account with a wire? Questions questions...

Finally got my Paxum withdrawal.  It was for $250.

Just glad to see money actually flowing.

Small amount?  Seems the bigger the $ the harder it is to get an answer from Jered!

I just don't understand the motive behind lying though. I don't even care that my money is tied up because I expected this with bitcoin to be honest. I'm pissed that it's been "just a couple more days" since the 11th. Always with a new excuse. If he said I wouldnt get my money for another 2 months then actually delivered it'd be better than this situation.

We just got the account up and checks / wires are moving out today.
If your wire doesn't get submitted by the cutoff point today it will go out tomorrow.

Jered

Here is the 20th, three days later and not one person has got their payment processed yet? At least no one that spoke up in this thread.

It must still be the 17th in his timezone, because he wouldn't lie to us right?

I've been over a week trying to get my money out in dollars.  I opened an OKPAY account, since withdrawals no longer show that they will send check...got all that done, but I've received no money...mine is too 'in process.'  Around $1100.  I got hopeful yesterday myself, but now I just feel worse, and I personally think they could have gotten off their butts and at least answered email.  To have to come here, to get the occasional update is ridiculous.  I've notified Silk Road and other sites where in the past we have promoted TradeHill.  But anyway, no change on my payment.

Still nothing... Whats that about, are wiretransfers going trough like TH claims they are or not?

I have had a Paxum withdrawal pending for 9 days.  Still "in process".

It pains me to say it, but I have lost some respect for the Tradehill crew.  While I do not doubt their honesty (I have lost nothing), the communication with customers has been sorely lacking.  This breads speculation, mistrust and fear.  A deadly combination.

Before this debacle, I was using TH exclusively for all of my trading.....now I have looked into other options and have moved all my business elsewhere.

I hope they get it all figured out soon.  I loved the simplicity and ease of use at TH, and am sad this had to happen.

It looks like my wiretransfer didnt make it pas the cutoff point even though its already there for weeks. Lets see if I will make it today... Did anyone actually make it to the cutoff point? Why is there actually a cutoffpoint Jered, shouldnt you or your employees work overtime to make this all right or is that also out of your hands and the banks fault/limitation?

had a paxum withdrawal, stuck since last week friday, so that's cool for now. Had it requested to be cancelled before that crash, unfortunately it's still pending. But no bad feelings from my side - I made enough money when the bubble crashed :-)
