I would say it requires a great deal of mathematics. I mean if you are having trouble as much as addition and traction, then you would not be able to trade very well. The simplest one is long term investment, but if you really want to start somewhere, then spot trading is a lot better. I do spot trading here and there, not a lot but I do it just in case there are things that I see and do not want to miss out.

Actually trading requires more time if you think that by just get knowledge you will be successful then i think its not a good option you should have to give a good time to your trading. There are numerous courses some beginners learn very well by gaining knowledge from these courses one of such a beginner course is udemy.com. there are certain more courses but they need more payment to get involved.
Trading is not only about selling and buying coins but also about how to analyze and make the right decisions,actually there is much more to learn which is why trading is so complex,
