Almost.
But with bitcoin it is really above different.
It is harder to predict and the fluctuations are larger.
It is also hard to monitor every sell and every buy that will happen since there is a lot of trading website that are working.
If only there is just one then it will be easier foe us to predict it but at the expense of a lower price of course.
The current costs we pay in trading are not expensive. About bitcoin, the price is manipulated by the elephants who hold large amounts of bitcoin that can impact the market according to their wants.

Technically they are the same you are using  the chart and other things to determine the speculation  but there  are different between stock and crypto trading, the factors to speculating the price is different, and in stock trading there are regulation, and in stock there are limit when you want to buy, in crypto its more flexible and there are no rules when you want to buy

From an analytical point of view, seems so.

The correlation between daily delta returns and volatility seems to be negative in both markets.
What does this actually mean? When panic kicks in, the sell begins(heston effect).

Yes to some extent it works the same way as stock market operates, Except the timing, volume, volatility and some basic fundamentals behind them. Otherwise technical wise they all are traded in the same fashion and people like trading both the stock market and crypto market.

I've tried stocks and it's somehow easier than trading in cryptos. Crypto prices is more unstable but more profitable than stocks.
It's because stocks are more stable because it is a fiat trade,
Very much different from what is done through crypto trading. Prices that tend to fluctuate,
even we can not predict. But provide a far greater advantage of the profits earned from the stock.

Does stock trading work the same way as bitcoin trading?

Well it is more similar with FOREX since they are both currency, But if you are already trading stock it will be easier for you to learn how to trade currency. You might already know the basic of trading and if you already know how to read charts it will be a plus for you.

Also you can see right away the  difference on their volatility. In crypto currency trading prices goes up and goes down instantly while on stocks sometimes you need to wait for days and some cases weeks or months to get a decent profit.

In stocks I usually use a daily and weekly view but in crypto currency a weekly view is comparably a year in stock charts.

It is easier to learn cryptocurrency trading when you already know how trading in stock, like you said.
I think all the same. We get profit when the price goes up. But just volatility of crypto is higher.

Does stock trading work the same way as bitcoin trading?

In some cases they are same, when you are dealing with stocks you usually wait to get profit like in bitcoin trading you also need to have a patience to get profit. The only difference between them is the time. Usually in bitcoin trading you can earn in just week or months but in stock trading it takes a half of year or more to get profit. The problem is bitcoin trading is more riskier than stock trading.

It would be the same as stock trading but the difference is if you trade in cryptocurrency the movement of the price is more higher than the stock market..
And like the other said of you know how to trade in stock market you know how to trade in bitcoin if you know the basic "buy low, Sell High"
And you can make a large amount of profit with small deposit if you go trading in cryptocurrency..

Does stock trading work the same way as bitcoin trading?
In terms of chart analysis, yes.
In terms of market movement, no.

There are huge number of teen investors/traders who trade on emotions. Bitcoin price movement hugely dictates the altcoin price. Usually, alts suffer when Bitcoin pumps or dumps and tend to grow when Bitcoin is stable. Bitcoin price movement can easily ruin the altcoin price action. Stocks price action is dependent upon company's growth and revenue. But in altcoins, there are bulk hodlers who runs the market according to their will which isn't that common in stocks. Pumps and dumps aren't illegal as in stocks because of lack of regulations. Market is highly immature. I would say, trade cautiously.

Does stock trading work the same way as bitcoin trading?

I think they are not the same with the stock, because in bitcoin trading or altcoin trading is much more higher chances to give profit compare into stock trading because of its volatility it has.

Does stock trading work the same way as bitcoin trading?

There are similarities but also differences. of course, we know that Bitcoin is really different in  many aspects and there are times when Bitcoin can be a renegade making it a little bit harder to predict and project. Plus we are aware of the big volatility spread in Bitcoin sometimes getting into as high as 30% which can be so disastrous if you are dealing with stocks. Both type of trading are influence by many factors and sometimes even with baseless rumors and opinions of other people. As of now, Bitcoin trading if done right can be more lucrative compared to trading stocks or even with forex that is there are now many trading site already offering all of these options to their clients.

Same concepts but different market and different risk. I can say that it is more volatile here in cryptoworld but it is more profitable compare to stocks. Stocks are the established business, it is good to have it and it cryptoworld you are just supporting the project that you think will succeed, I am talking about the ICO. I trade in stocks before but since I know bitcoin already I spend more time now here.

Very, but it is kinda volatile. Well, trading can be a little bit tricky in crypto rather in stocks. But we are talking about charts, it is pretty well the same.

I think it is safe to say that the whole idea of it is exactly the same. you invest in things that have potential while they are cheap and sell them when they reach their potential for profit.

but the biggest difference that I can think of is the size of the market and also the level of manipulation which may partly be because it is an unregulated market and also be partly because most of the altcoins are heavily centralized and a couple of entities like the devs or some big whale controls majority of that altcoin.
so you see lots of pump and dumps in altcoins that you never see anywhere else in the world. and this is a big difference which can be both good and bad because manipulations are unpredictable but also they are most profitable.

Not the same, there are a lot of chaotic pumps without new or long before news (U have to fight fomo and not buy the high). No rules at all. On good news (MCO few days ago -30 % in few minutes) everything can be dumped) But growing market will forgive u a lot of mistakes.
