You need to use realiable cryptocurrency exchange (trading platform). I've used CoinDeal from my beginning in the cryptocurrency world and everything is okay. I'm satisfied and now (as a quite more experienced user) I can say that this platform is ideal for beginners. Check out their security practices, their support works pretty quick so you can feel safe. This exchange is very involved in their community activities.

I am new here. So I need some help from veteran traders could you please tell me how could I trade here safely Huh

Hi there! The first thing you’ll want to do when you start trading is your own research. Learn about different trading strategies, the best platforms, and how the market actually functions. Never invest more than you can afford to lose, use a reputable platform or marketplace like Vertex, and ensure that you don’t give into FOMO or FUD to start off with.

Crypto is a highly volatile market and there's no such thing as a safe trade. DYOR and educate yourself before entering the game...
Do your own research is the important thing on this place, if you just rely on someone else prediction then you will lose eventually. I don't believe to some people who deem that he is a good trader or an expert to trade (most of them will ask to you to join to his channel) because they won't help you when felt a huge lose.

I guess for those who knows and they have done their own research then the matter of volatile price in cryptocurrency will be liked by them. Such as me, when I was newbie I really worried to the price movement and even I need several weeks to decide that I'm ready to trade. But now, when I have a bit knowledge to how become a crypto trader the volatility price is not an obstacle that I must be eschew but it something that I should take an advantage on it.

Google search is the key.

All you have to do is to read references about:

-beginner in trading
-trading basics
-how to trade
-important things to take note of in trading and any related stuff

There is no one who will provide you a one-on-one tutorial since all help can be found now on the internet. It's free and all information almost spoonfed to us.

There is no safe trading. No matter how well you understand the market, you are still exposed to risks. But while you are a beginner, I recommend that you do not engage in margin trading. And it is best to start acquaintance with trading with demo accounts. Subscribe to the accounts in social networks of experienced traders and learn to trade on their advice. It's still better than trying to trade at random without having any knowledge.

In my opinion, Trading is all about your own discipline and how you manage your emotions. most traders suck at managing their emotions. Therefore, read psychology books and learn to manage your fear and greed, balance your life and trade only with money you can afford to lose. the only time you'll really ever start to make money in the market is when you stop giving a shit about making money and just start following a consistent pattern of buying and selling, whatever pattern that happens to be. thereby, forget trying to find a secret strategy. build your own and do what you're comfortable with.

You can earn cryptocurrency and tokens thanks to bounty programs, but I really understand that bounty hunters do this as their main job. You need to process a huge amount of information and quickly generate good texts or videos in order to benefit from this type of business
Yeah for sure good bounty users should share good stuff with us and make useful posts about trading so people who don't know trading will gain knowledge from it. We can use trading as day and long term it’s all about the interest of the trader but also its about market condition if you feel it safe you can trade short term otherwise we can trade longer.

trading safely can be done by buying at a low price and may also hold or sell at a high price. this strategy is classic and many older traders have done this. but it is still effective for new traders
Also do not put all your money in one basket. You need to split your money in different altcoins so that, when one altcoins get pump you will have some profit in your investment. And do not invest what you are afford to lose, not because others are doing that, they put all their asset all out you will do what they did.
Before engaging into real trading, gain some knowledge first about trading and keep on reading and learning from the bitcointalk forum because this one is really helpful especially for newbies. And when you think you can do it already, start with a small amount first and increase it everytime you make profits in trading.

Indeed beginners have a lot to learn from this forum and other articles if the beginner does not really understand what is done when trading can ask questions in this forum, many must answer for those who have experience in trading.
And the point is don't be greedy if you trade consistently and don't panic when the downward movement.
There are numerous cases where people have knowledge and skills of trading as well but they simply lose the game because of greed. They simply fall prey to greed. There is a simple solution to this evil. Make target every time you trade and upon achieving it, simply stop. Don’t continue in order to secure more profit because this is when your countdown of loss begins. Greed is cursed so avoid it.

I am a trader and have been in this crypto market for 3 years. Every ups and downs I have paid. So my advice now for you is to read a lot, carefully copy your transactions day by day. Sure you will feel it bullshit but it is really useful after every 1 month you trade. it will be the sum of your mistakes and remind you not to make a second mistake. In addition, you should not use too much capital to trade, only use a small amount of about $ 150 to start trading and open a small position. You need more than a year to learn, which is the amount of time I can estimate for a new trader.

There are two ways to it trading is a highly risky job you either choose to become a hodler of cryptocurrencies which I believed is the easier of the two ways in the former you research for a coin that has a prospect of pumping in a few days ahead thus buy low and hodl and sell high while the latter involves how to day trade cryptos this aspect of trading require skills in both technical and fundamental analysis thus requires a lot of practicing before fully investing in it of course their are a lot of valuable stuffs online videos and ebooks that would guide you to becoming a full time trader.

Before you enter the world of crypto trading, you must first learn how to trade. Choose the good exchange and nominal capital to be used. I think that if you are new to the world of crypto trading, you should use a small capital, do not use a large capital, because the risk of loss will be big anyway. So you really learn directly on the exchange with a minimum of capital and you can learn how to trade on YouTube, that's a lot of it.

I think trading is not the first step.

The one you are trading, it is not that easy to learn

There are a lot of cryptocurrencies out there and if you focused on your trading rather than on the cryptocurrencies you are trading, you will obviously lose a lot of money. Better study first what you are dealing with, since you will be entering crypto trading, obviously you are familiar with trading so I don't think that is a problem, not the first thing you should deal with.

Well that is true, because every cryptocurrency has different market movements. Surely we must know what crypto we are trading? What influences the price of crypto? etc. That will be very helpful when we start learning to trade and analyze the market fundamentally and technically.

In general, the system that is called crowdholding is quite interesting. They have a concept that allows them to receive tasks as technical experts who can share their opinions to solve the problems of the project and simply attract marketers who love the bounty
I am sure that profit without investment can be obtained if there is a good investment plan. First of all, you are investing in your own knowledge. because then you can engage in byte stocks, mining, creating content or trading. everything will work out. for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, the taklimakan platform was created. there you can learn to invest with experienced users or create content yourself and sell your services
A mining system can be a good way to make money if you have the resources to buy equipment. Of course, many will say that now mobile mining is developing, but it is still far from comparing with the hardware

For first time traders I think you can seek advice or recommendation to your trusted friend or colleague. Its really hard to select where to trade. Maybe first you can take some advices and eventually you can do your own research to select the safest trading sites. Its always a risk to trade so definitely you must be smart on how much you trade.

Always remember that there is no safe trading. All we know that trading and other activity is very risky. The only thing that you do is to study first all the action  that you make before you make it. That is the only way that you do to reduce the risk in trading but never think that there is an safe trading.

Depends on what he means by safe trading. The platforms you're using can be more or less safe. You can rely on pump and signal groups or not. You can follow TA of others or try to do it yourself. There are many levels on which you can screw up.

There's no 100% safe trading but you can be much better than the average with a little knowledge and effort.

If you want to trade safely, you should know the money you want to use. You can use free money which you don't use for anything, so if you lose that money, there is no worry at all. After that, you should learn more about trading so you know how to make a profit and you do it again and again to make a bigger profit. You should not listen to our people to buy a coin, but you can use their suggestion to analyze that coin, so you will know if that coin is worth or not to buy. Besides what I say, you need more to learn trading so you can have good skills in trading.

You should know about trading better before you trade here for a new one. If you trade without knowing about the trade, you may lose the money you invest. That's why if you know someone before trading in crypto, you can learn about the trade from him or by watching different videos.

Before you start trading at least you ask the person who introduces what trading is and what are the risks. or you can find out via YouTube and channels group. The point is you have to be prepared with the risk of loss. because trading doesn't always have a smooth process when you want to get profit. Besides capital, the strong mind (mentally)  is needed to face any risk in the world of crypto trading.

That's why you need to practice after you seek information and gain knowledge. Applying knowledge is essential for you to know the feeling of losses, feeling of earning profit, and feeling of taking risk that is worth waiting for. You'll not become professional without practicing fundamentals.

After that, we all know that professional traders are EXPERIENCED traders because they know what is happening inside the market. They analyze and observe when to have transactions. They predict the ranges of price depending on the chart and threads like this.

Every trading have a risk, before you entering in trading minimal you must have a knowledge about trading, and you must have technical analisys
Risk is only for those who are new and they are not having knowledge. I have seen so many people trying to get profit at first try without knowledge but it’s not good at all. First we should increase our knowledge and then should start trading. Now a day trading is really profitable better invest now as coin is low in price but after few years it will be more than double.

Trading is all about investing and earning a profit; this is commonly happening in business if you want to make more money; this is the fastest and longest. In digital currency or we called as the new investment of cryptocurrency it commonly happens because there's a lot of different coins that you can invest and gives you a lot of money. Most of the profitable are the bitcoin because the price of it is very beneficial and volatile every time the price goes down and up. Still, it is just average, If you are trying to invest in crypto make sure you are knowledgeable in reading graphs first and next is how to trade your money in a different currency, by this kind of technique and skills you can quickly gain profit.

Getting profit in crypto is take a short and long time. Quick because you can trade your money daily and get a little benefit and long time because you can also hold your money and wait until the price of the coin is very high and profitable that's the time you will trade it.

There is no way someone will tell you here that there is such thing as a safe trade.
It is just an illusion. Even veterans have their own problems when dumps come around without a notice which is normal.

Even with technical analysis, you will have a difficult time into making it real.
The market is not stable. The movement is like a roller coaster ride. If I were you, I would get ready with that first.
that is true, even though the person is a professional veteran trader, of course trading in this field is not entirely safe. market prices always change so quickly, if it is wrong to take action then the possibility of loss can easily approach us. The thing that op needs to do before engaging in trading is to understand the technical analysis of market charts first and learn to control emotions by practicing trading with small capital first.

It requires luck as well, nobody talks about luck as much as it has to be talked about. You can know trading in depth, you can know the markets, you can know the charts, you can know the indicators, you can know special people from special places, you can know everything you need to know about and you can be someone who is really interested in trading for years, you could be a professional that has made tons of money from trading as well.

As long as you are not lucky, that will bring your profit down, even make you lose. One day one crazy whale will do something silly and all your profits will erode overnight. Luck is a very very important factor in trading, nothing else could make you money as much as being lucky could make you rich. Just my thesis for the past 6 years.

The same question was asked many times before, and new people still come and ask the same questions. They wish to make money in a safe way, without the possibility to lose what they already have. That is not impossible, but people still ask in the hope to find some miracle answers.
People that wish to start investing in cryptocurrencies, that wish to trade, should be ready for losing some money if they wish to learn something and one day to start making a profit.

You can manage or find more an understanding about management risk because it is more important when you intend to start become a trader.

It will be useless when you are expert to overcome some strategies but you don't have any strategy how to manage your risk/money cause you will get lose at the end, I'll bet.

Because being a profesional trade it is not about you will get profit from you whole trade because it is impossible. There will be a time your prediction is going wrong, and you need a strategy what will you do next and management risk is the solution when you found this situation.

You have to build a confidence level for yourself. That level is the next step after all the reading and research that you have done. Start to practice gradually you will build yourself.
It may help for sure but actually trading requires deep knowledge and market understanding which some traders don't have that is why they suffer big losses before they realize how important it was.  Trading is always at risk,  even expert wouldn't think that it was soo easy for them and yet,  they also suffer losses sometimes. If we think that we are ready enough for this tough job then, we could say that it gives a positive results.

Step by step man. If you are interested in trading then i would suggest you to get familiar with basics (school programs, yt tutorials..) there's a lot to learn but if it's interesting to you there will be no problem..would suggest you to start with low sums or simulators which is the way to go! Hope it helps!

I agree with. Your interest would also play  big part in it. Some people are simply after the potential to earn big. Which would basically make them look at trading from the wrong perspective as a newbie. Instead of focusing on getting the money, it's best to focus on learning first. That would easily come if you're interested in how crypto and trading works. I find it to be the same as when people choose a collegiate course that they really want, rather than taking something up for the potential salary.

By "here", do you mean trade at bitcointalk forum? If you actually meant bitcointalk forum, then yeah, you will need to be really safe cautious. As soon as you make a post, there will be people jumping in to try and scam you. Best way is to look for a reputed trader on the forum. Look at his trust rating before initiating any kind of trade. If you don't find any kind of well known traders, then before trading with a unknown trader, it is recommended to use a middleman/escrow service.

to trade safely, you must choose a trusted exchange, such as binance, huobi, or kucoin,
If you have determined a safe and reliable exchange, then you only need to activate 2FA,
and then learn trading, understand technical analysis and also trading management,
if you have mastered everything, you will become a professional trader.

Ive been trading for quite a while now and I will spend hours and hours watching the basics again just purely on the basis I might learn something else i missed the first time.

You will quickly realise trading is all about personal style and what works for you.

Theres no way that you can trade safely. Bitcoin and other Altcoins price is volatile. You really need to pay attention on the coin that you want to buy first. What you can do is aim for small profits first, like 2% per trade, once you hit 2%, sell and leave. Dont aim for higher profits as you might get trapped holding an expensive coin once the price dropped.

One of the most important things you could possibly do as a new trader is to only put a small amount of your money into trading initially. It's unrealistic to expect to be extremely good at trading right from the beginning, and it's possible you won't be very profitable for a while. Take things slowly at first but keep reading and learning whenever you can and apply the knowledge you've gained when you're trading, and never, EVER risk more than you can afford to lose even if you're on a great winning streak. Don't let your emotions control your trading.
The common misconception about trading is always the scalability of capital, small traders tends to be greedy when they win for a consecutive time and likely to put or add more money. Some are very knowledgeable with trading but they cannot apply what they have learned on actual. WHY? cause guide tends to be more beginner friendly when in fact the real market does not. So I suggest to find a trading platform that offers a demo account to really know how the market works.

Reading through the comments I can see lots of advises given to you by members but the truth still remains that these advices works best if you put them into practices.
I will advise to open a demo account and try trading with it. If possible you can trading with some shit coins to know what it feels like to 'actually' trade. Practice for sometimes with it before proceeding to the main trading. Then you will know if trading is meant for you.

If you are a beginner and before trading, you must have prior knowledge about trading and recognize the risks that you will face and after that you must experience it directly with the note you must trade with small capital first.
because with you experience it directly from time to time you can learn and recognize how to trade well and can make you a great trader, and the most important thing is you have a basic knowledge of trading.
Knowledge indeed holds the most importance in all professions. It is same in the trading world too. A person must learn the basics first. Once done with trade learning, he is supposed to choose a potential coin and learn it too. Then he should try to implement his knowledge in scenarios resembling real world with some demonstration account. With the passage of time, everything starts falling into its place.

So, in my opinion the most important is to remember this quote:"never invest more than you can afford to lose". Trading isn't easy and you need to constantly learn. Learn from your mistakes. But before you start trading, gain some knowledge about cryptocurrencies, take your time and watch the market's fluctuations. Then find a proper exchange for beginners, I can recommend you CoinDeal which is safe and user-friendly. Good luck, be patient!

no one is safe in trading all have risks, that is why trading is called unpredictable work.
You buy now and could suffer losses in a short time, and vice versa.
so you do have to understand market conditions in order to know when to enter and exit.
trading is difficult, dont try if you dont ready to lose.

Safely? Even those pro/veteran traders cant even have that word "safe" in terms of trading. Its always been risky but due to experience and skills they do able to suppress that risk on losing money.

Same goes for newbies too, we do need to learn up the basics and test out trades on small amounts until we do gradually learn along the way.Following tips from pros arent really that ideal
and i do much prefer on trading on my own and do get out some references but not totally relying on it.

You don't need to depend on other suggestion, there is a lot of information regarding every issue of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency system, You just need to Goggle and will discover a lot of windows, Not only that but also you need to learn a lot of thing about this system, you know that without having proper knowledge no one can't do anything, so at first, you have select what do you want? and then start studying about that platform, another important thing is that keep control over your emotion, don't think over-emotional.

If you want to trade, first you need to get an account for trading from Binance, Coinbase (recommended for noobs), Bitfinex or any of the trusted exchanges. After you have created an account, I would suggest you get to learn more about the exchange you have chosen and how everything works in it and read their terms and conditions as to know what to avoid. After that, the next thing you have to do is to learn cryptocurrency trading, a lot of articles on Google search can help you a lot in understanding what it's all about.

For now, all I can tell you is that there are risks involved, and you should avoid emotional trading, and only invest and trade what you can afford to risk. You should also check out the videos on trading, when you watch the demonstration I think it will help you better.

crypto markets is very volatile , and to trade safely in volatile markets you need to have experience and emotions control while learning trade with less quantity and be in the game ,
Since he is a newbie, he should understand the risks first in crypto. Learn first and understand the market this could helps and guide to trade. Indeed the market is volatile and especially we could not predict the value. That's also important to control our emotions and never trade that cannot afford to lose.
I do agree that newbies should have learn first the basic idea of trading, know the risk of investment in cryptocurrency and how to execute a trade with this volatile cryptocurrency. There's a lot of reading, research and practices needed for a newbie in order to perfectly trade with less losses.

Head to the forexfactory and take the courses from the professional traders. There is no need to get lost in the Youtube channels if you have the basic trading knowledge. As a starter package, you have to familiar with various trading platforms and similar market patterns will occur from time to time. The human psychology is the answer to all dark questions, always pay attention to the sentimental and fundamental analysis.

You cannot trade here.
You go to an exchange first before you could trade.
Also, there is no such thing as safe trading. Anything is always at risk.
Trading and even just the mere buying of any crypto currency is already a risk. Do not look for something safe for there it doesn't exist anymore unless you want just to keep it in a bank and get a .01 annual interest.

Trading is risky there's no way you can trade safely however you can learn many things that can make you more knowledgeable on what you do. We all started as newbies but in every step we learned from that experience and that's the best teacher for us to do better the next time.

Dont rush things and take time learning, thats your key to become a pro trader and become succesful.

Its like that, word safe and trading cant go together in the same sentence. When you think of trading, any kind of trading, it has some risks, depending on choice of coins, your bankroll, planned profit, risks can be low or they can be very high.
I think there's only one way for people to start learning about trading, decide to spend some money and don't regret it. Use that initial capital that you can afford to lose, first trades are learning, you will spend some money, but you will learn about transactions, sending fees same as trading fees. To learn all that you will spend some money, and if you think you can do it try it with more money.

My advise is that a trader should understand the risk in trading. Are you talking about trading safely with an exchange or you are talking about trading and making steady profit and not recording any loss? The latter comes with trading because, losses are part of life, except you minimize it.

You're in a wrong place if you enter cryptocurrecy world for trading safely, trading in cryptocurrency is the unsafest i think because the price is so agile and you could lost more than half of your assets in one night. But for investment cryptocurrency is really good when you choose a good coin

Trading safely?
Choose where to trade. Reputable and established exchanges is recommended. But let me remind you that there is no guarantee that your fund is safe in an exchange. You can also trade fiat to crypto if you want to start as a basic trader. Or, this forum community offers a lot of knowledge about long term and short term trading.

Gain more knowledge first, do some actual practice and always set your mind about the risks. If you think you trade amount that you can afford to lose but still had an optimistic mind, go on.

every trade is not safe, even if you are a professional person that is sure to experience losses, but with the knowledge of professional traders can be minimized, so you as a beginner trader must continue to learn, so as not to experience losses, look for the best reference before trading. and start trading with little capital before you really master the trade.

You can watch many video tutorial in youtube as a guide first for learning the basics.
Trading its safetly is really hard without understanding the market so you should learn that.
Also if you want to start trading now make sure you will only use small amount mone so incase of lost you will not lost so big.
Learn from your experience that the basics weapon you can use if you want to gamble your money.

First of all you should know that you're not going to get rich by just trading, and I strongly advise you against putting all of your money into trading whether it's crypto or sth else, I suggest you to start trading with 5% of your money(the amount of money that is seperate from your day to day expenses), If you want to trade btc don't ever go for leverage trading even if it's 1-2x, crypto by it's nature is volatile enough and we see a lot of 10-20% moves which makes leverage trading extremely risky.

The best you can hope for for is to gain something like 2-3% monthly on your trades with a well managed low risk trading.

Are you referring to trading Bitcoin on an exchange? If so, keep in mind that there is no way to be completely safe in trading. Any time you move your Bitcoins to an exchange, you take risk. Any time you trade, you risk losing plus Bitcoin is still a high risk investment anyway.

I’m not trying to scare you away from trading, but just letting you know that there will always be risk.

If you're a beginner mate i'll tell you this, trading is very risky it would be better to try some dummy money i think there are websites out there that teaches you how to trade or lend money for practicing. Dont be like me, who traded without any knowledge about trading and buying stuff that's basically shitcoin then loss now im stuck and still waiting for a pump.

When you are the first time in trading better to do your research how do the process and trading works because many beginners are fails on their trade and scared to try again because they think it is just all for investment then wait for earning money. Trading has a lot of techniques and knowledge required; if you want to learn more in trading, it is better to ask an expert or a person who has a lot of experience in trading because you will learn by their skills and techniques. Soon you will explore your techniques to win all of the trade and get a lot of profit.

It's better to check the trading trading section here dude. You'll find more discussions on trading specifically. Though one thing i can tell you is that never assume that any trade is safe. All trades can  go opposite of what you want it to be. Proper management of expectations is one of the first things that you need to develop to be efficient in trading. I've learned quite a lot in these forums a few years ago about trading and hopefully you'll do the same. Goodluck.

You can’t assure safe trading because it always involves risks. However, you can manage and minimise those risk if you do thorough research, analyse everything and be informed on what’s happening in the crypto world. Only invest what you can afford to lose and always set aside emotions.

That's not enough for you to become safe in trading. You will always take a risk in trading, no one is safe from it. It is you, your confidence and critical thinking skills that will lead you to a successful trade.

Researching and analyzing isn't enough if you don't perform. What is the sense of the knowledge you've got and not apply it in reality? Experience is important in trading, having it will make you a professional when it comes to that.

That will help you to become good in trading, you'll prevent maximum loss and can help you gain profit higher percentage of what you've invested.

trading or trading, you have to take risks, you cannot counteract its profits and you can only manage risks well. Never listen to brokers who seduce you that trading in this pair is very good and not afraid of risk, that person is lying. Better yet, you need to learn a lot about the financial market before engaging in this trading career. You can search for information on Google and there are many ways you can make a lot of money. such as Margin trading crypto, Forex, ... but these are usually leveraged transactions, quite risky and potentially losing money so you need to be careful. dont be greedy.

Ask around in Trading Discussion instead of here, much suitable to be discussed over there instead plus it holds discussions regarding tips and tricks. And also, there's no such thing as trading safely, more like trading while having minimal risks is the optimal term to be used. By the end of the day, you would still lose funds one way or another. Just study and learn, experience the trading market, and you should be able to learn properly.

Crypto market is one of the markets with strong volatility. This is one of the toughest markets and we should prepare ourselves with a solid knowledge before starting to trade. Don't get too greedy in the first days of trading because I've seen someone win 200% of profits in the first few days but got burnt out after 3 days. So the first thing you need to do is control your psychology and not be greedy.

Knowledge is power in trading because you can apply what you have learn to overcome problems and to be successful, trading isn't easy and it will never be easy but as long as you have enough knowledge then you can make wise decision for yourself. Apply your knowledge and stick with your main objective. You have to understand the things that you need to consider before making actions to avoid feeling remorse about it. Always do some research and risk what you can afford to lose because you can't always expect that your trading will turn out great, there will be some downfalls. You should also know when to buy, hold and sell because trading is speculative, also be patient and attentive.
