There are these bots online that promises to make you a desired amount of profit within a specified amount of time, now I want to start trading with the help of trading bots or robots and I would like to know which has been extensively tested and has proven to be effective over time.

Thanks for your time
Dont believe on such thing. If trading bots are profitable then most of us are using it now and just sipping out some juice and let the bot work and viola easy profits. This thing isnt possible. They might be a helpful tool but you would still need supervision and the right set-up from its user. These things are only a tool not actually the ones that would make you money.
as the purpose of the bot is created, it only helps us in predicting market movements.
decision in determining buy / sell, back to us. We can not depend on that bot.
Not a few bots even have bugs / weaknesses that can harm its users as well

I have tried some bots for trading and many in the thread have given some decent suggestions. What I want to mention here is that bots can notify you at perfect time to jump in a coin. But you'll get some 40-50 suggestions a day. Choosing from there is enough a tough task and you can still make a loss unless you go for all the coins suggested which is impossible. You gotta research a lot still.
If bots would  guess the trend of a market with 100% accuracy than surely everyone would be using these bots by now. There are some good bots out there that can recognize certain patterns and make trades based on those signals but not all of them are profitable trades. I think it's generally better to not invest in trading bots but instead captilize on big moves manually. This is mainly due the costs that comes with such a bot and it's accuracy.

We know and can read the news, and we can predict the price of currency. So I guess we'd better monitor the price. After all, if we are a professional trader, we do not have to worry about losses anymore. Because we already know when to buy and when to sell.
It's true, trading bot is no a silver bullet especially in long term.
But bot can help in short term. For example, each day we have some fluctuations of the rate(even on a sunny day, without good or bad news). Its almost impossible to predict this fluctuations. But for bot it is possible to analyze number of orders in stock, capitalization, number of new orders per hour etc and compare it with historical data(find similar situations in the past).
From my point of view: with good bot it should be possible to win 0.5% each 12 hour with minimal risk.
And I think it's batter than win 3% a day but with HUGE risk to loose more.
I started to implement my own bot, but who knows if I am able to finish it Smiley

Heard good and bad things on Gunbot so far. I think we can use bots to automate some tasks which are very useful, like scanning and then give a list of coins that seem they gonna pump. Then you use your brain from here.

There's a method that I'm trying to setup with the algotrade, but it's so hard to program this crazy stuff, I need more research for that.

To trade we must take a lot of time to monitor the price of a currency. So I guess we have to spend or sacrifice a lot of time for trading. Maybe that's why people get lazy and just rely on robots. If we choose to rely on robots, what if something happens that we do not want with the robot? Surely we will also check the robot, whether the robot is working properly or not.

So instead of checking the robot, it's better that we the one who that checks the price of a currency. While the robot or the computer is not the same as humans. The robot can not think and determine or estimate the price. We know and can read the news, and we can predict the price of currency. So I guess we'd better monitor the price. After all, if we are a professional trader, we do not have to worry about losses anymore. Because we already know when to buy and when to sell.

If you are not the owner of the bot that is if you didn't write the code, just forget it it.Most bot only generate tiny trade to the detriment of the the person using it.

Yes, dont even think about buying a bot, they are so expensive and if you are a newbie or you doesnt have more than 5 thousand dollars to invest in to the bot, you are not going to recover the bot's cost fast. So if you have a lower budget than that, then try to buy a guide or hire someone to teach you how to trade, how to avoid the losses and how to predict the price, those are the only things you need to trade by yourself.
And i am sure that you can make much more profit by this way.

This is a pretty inaccurate statement. I don't know of any bot that is 5k? Even GunBot, which is the most expensive I have personally seen, is not even 1K in price.

LeonArdo is a flat $89?

I don’t like this idea of trading bot. in fact it is not at all possible for some kind of bot to think in a way a human brain can think. This is really a bad idea. You are going to get dependent on some kind of bot. You never know whether the bot is going to make a right decision or not. For the bot, this thing hardly matters that whether you are going to earn a profit or you are going to lose money.

How can we identify that price of the coin will be increased?
We can calculate:
- how many BUY/SELL orders (in $) usually placed per day(or some period)
- how many BUY orders(in $) have been placed today
- how many SELL orders(in $) have been placed today
- AVG number of unfilled orders usually in stock per day/week/month
- how many unfilled orders placed right now.
- AVG number of large fluctuations per day
- number of large fluctuations today
- AVG fluctuation size

What other indicators can we use?

If you have a lot of time to spare, why use a bot to trade, nothing beats manual trading, if you want to stop, if you want to sell you can sell anytime. There are advantages and dis-advantages in using trading bots but if you made a mistake in entering commands, you may end up losing more instead of gaining more money. I think bots are good for those who are busy to monitor and stay in front of the pc to trade.
How about scripts on poloniex when bots buying or selling faster then a real persone?

I haven't tried any bots for trading but I can tell you that nothing beats manual trading. Bots can't make you money every time you trade and it's worthless as you won't learn anything about trading or market.

Everythings the same. There aren't any assurance of earning with bots since they're pretty much doing the same thing. They can't magically predict the right time for buying and selling. Beyyer to juat do it yourself as in time your experience would be your most valuae asset

Believe me I trieed several commercial bots available here and elsewhere. I quit. I trade manually and make more money.
agree same experience , I don't understand other people why they depend their earnings on a bot while they can do it manually and earn much more money , I still prefer to trade manually because it is much securer than risking your account to be compromised and lose all your money

I doubt... to trade successfully, you must observe the "buy low - sell high" logic, which is very hard to do because we are humans with emotions. My gunbot had given me good earnings in the recent months but I stopped trading because I have found another way to earn bitcoins, so I decided to migrate all my funds from trading to minting. I respect your opinion about manual trading, though...

Just a matter of turning of your emotions. Or at the very least not listening to them. I dont care if a coin crashes. I'll just hold if need be. as long as my portfolio as a whole makes a profit.
