I am not a fan of trading bot as I prefer to do my analysis and trade myself. But I have heard people make profits with trading bots excellently. Example is the 3comma, a friend is using it and makes a cool profit.

Why do you have to pay for a bot ?
It might be a good business model for the bot owner but for the customer ? hmmmm donno...

If the bot makes money ,then the bot owner takes a cut from the profit. sound more reasonable business model  and fare deal to me..

what do you think ?

I didn't know bot owner takes money?  There is upfront charge to purchase bot subscription but I didn't hear anything about bot provider taking money?

ta

seriously? you are paying to some entity to use the bot (company , individual , LTD company ..) AKA bot owner...

You are using someone services and coding a trading bot is not that easy so it's normal to pay for it when you use it. Trading bot makes you trade automatically base on your preferred setup, This is a good service that deserves payment for its worth. Don't generalized both as random shit tool.

You are absolutely right about the payment.
My thoughts were about the business model ,

I don't know if to bot works , the service provider promises it does, but, go figure.. he is getting paid no mater what.

so why not share the profit the bot makes ? the service provider takes a cut from the profit and this is his payment.
In this business model at lest i know that he has a good motivation to make money otherwise he will not get paid.

Gun bot as far as I know when it was new here in this industry its price offered was too high or expensive,
in fairness, right now it went down to 0.025BTC I could say it was too cheap now. But in particular of using the gun bot,
why would I try that? because none of it style are not precise and accurate in terms of trading, but this is just my thought
and opinion.

You can try the Cryptohopper bot
https://www.cryptohopper.com/
Cryptohopper runs entirely on the cloud, so no installation is required which makes round the clock trading possible. It comes with pre-built templates for trading platforms such as: Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex, GDAX and Kraken.
It contains the full technical analysis features from Stoch and RSI to Bollinger Bands and MACD.
I think the bot is free but to get the full features you have to purchase the paid features.

I was doing some research on Gunbot  as per your valuable suggestion.

I am just not clear about one thing,  as far as I managed to search,  it seems the bot will run from my local computer. It means, I will need to keep my pc running? Also if the bot runs on the same computer that I am using, will it not hamper the performance of the pc?

Is there any bot that will run from the bot providers platform?

cheers Smiley

Yes Gunbot is downloadable software that you can run on your PC or Server, but really you can use any halfway decent PC and run it without any problems, heck you can even install it on a RaspberryPi

Here are the specs anyways:

CPU: 64-bit
RAM: 2 GB
Disk space: 10 GB free disk space
Network: stable broadband network connection

So it can be installed on Windows, Linux, MacOs or ArmV7

But yeah other bot providers like 3commas, Cryptohopper, and I believe Haasonline have cloud service now too

Bot trading is good as long learn the know-how of the configuration. You might have the right tool and not make the most efficient of it. Gunbot doesn't take a share of the trading profit, you paid for the service ahead depending on the plan choosing which ranges from trading on one exchange to many. It has been in existence for years and gains the trust of many. I think they have a good review in comparison to others.

I never used any trading bot before and I am a complete beginner in this regard.
I need something very simple to set up

There are plenty of places you can look for reviews. (e.g. https://tradingbot.info/ )
Some bots also have trial period. Look of reviews and also use well the trial period.
People will suggest this or that based on their preferences. You'll have to pick yours by what you need.
Don't rush it; research.

Thanks a lot for your replies. So, as per your suggestions I should go with Gunbot.

Before I proceed, I just want to know if  gunbot will be suitable for beginner? I never used any trading bot before and I am a complete beginner in this regard.

I need something very simple to set up a strategy  for a pair for example,  sell BTC if there will be a $100 profit and buy back btc if the amount of btc will be more than initial amount etc.

Yes, it is, like I told you, if your reseller offers the Gunbot School you will go thru a step by step course with video explainers teaching you how to use the bot, then you have pre-configured strat's that come with Gunbot and lastly, you will have the Gunthy Marketplace where you can download tested and profitable strategies.

Like I said also, is not magic and your strat will perform depending on the market conditions, but you can be ready to go in no time.

You will also be part of the Gunbot Telegram community where you can learn even more about trading.

Obviously the more you learn, the more money you will be able to make in the future.

A simple strategy would be "Gain" for example:

You set the bot to buy when the price is 1% lower than the lowest EMA and to Sell at a percentage higher than that, witch can be 1%, to keep this example simple

Then all you need is a good risk management strategy, which will be up to you, so ask yourself the question:

What would I do if I buy and the price goes the other way?

Would you sell at a loss, and move on to the next trade or would you Average Down the bought price?

Whatever is your answer and your trading style you can just tell Gunbot to do it for you.

This is just a simple example I hope you can understand what I mean

Can't believe gunbot went as low as 0.025 during this period, I remember when it was around 0.09 bitcoins, and not like this was during the bad parts neither, it was around the time when bitcoin reached to 2017 peak as well, so it was still expensive to buy one, turns out it is quarter of what it used to be even after developments.

I have to say it doesn't matter which bot you use, as long as you use a decent one the results will always be the same, when the markets are horrible, the bot will not make you any profit, it will make you lose a lot of money or just make you hold bags for years, and when the market is great it will make you a ton of money. Just to give an example from gunbot since we were talking about that, I have seen people who lose 20% in an hour with gunbot, and I have seen people double their money in under a week as well, you can't make a decision based on either of them.

I would recommend Gunbot too for many reasons and without the intention of diminishing other bots out there, but for you to make an educated decision.

Here are Gunbot's main Sales points in my opinion

1- One Time Fee, Lifetime License, this is my opinion is the main difference, ofc you can argue that with the recurring payment you pay less upfront, but and the end of the day you will pay more if you keep it.

2- As a New user and depending on who you buy it from you can be part of the Gunbot School, a step-by-step course where you learn all the basics on how to operate the bot.

3- Gunbot comes with pre-made strategies ready to use, plus we got the GunthyMarketplace where you can download fine-tuned configs most of them for FREE for any Gunbot user.

4- A token system where you can upgrade unlock more API slots and use more advanced features like bitRage and Market Maker by just holding more tokens in your registered wallet.

5- There is more, but if with all that you still decide Gunbot is not for you, you can either sell the Gunthy Tokens on the exchange or sell your License in a second-hand marketplace.

These are just a few highlights but of course, there are way more...

Last but not least I would like to inform you the Gunbot is on Sale Right Now!

You can get your hands on the cheapest Gunbot Starter License for ฿ 0.010

Gunbot Standard ฿ 0.025 Fully Loaded and Access to 1 exchange at a Time

Gunbot Pro ฿ 0.0375 all in Standard plus Backtesting add-on and 3 exchanges at a time

Gunbot Ultimate  ฿ 0.0625 all in Pro plus Tradingview add-on and you can trade on 5 exchanges simultaneously

You can also pay with Paypal, especially when BTC is crazy high (you'll see what I mean when you click that choice...  Grin )

All bots (if legit) are good, as long as use them for what they are: A tool to help you automate your trading, not Lambo Makers.

I hope this helps, you can contact me any time you like if you have questions about Gunbot

Thanks for the list too which im not much aware that there are other bots exist aside from gunbot which i had been using for a while now.
I would attest that gunbot is a good bot which you can really make use of strategies that do exist. It might be a bit expensive on other bots
out there but it is really worth on what you do pay for.
Just a reminder on using up bots is that you should at least have some idea on trading matter so that you would able to follow
when it comes to those pre-built strats rather than on doing something which you didnt even know.
