Any stockbroker that contacts you is an attempted scam so run and desist from them, it's hard to find legit stockbrokers this day, and that most of those offering such services have a long track of issues of scam or not remittance of agreed percentage because of trading uncertainties.
But again if you are looking for one you can as well carry out personal research about the company to see if they are legit or not.

I suggest refusing the offer because, in the first place, no one booker service will contact their customers.
That is obviously fraud, I rather have my own trading than trust someone on the internet especially if there are sending me a private message asking for any financial matters. But it's up to you if you want to try with a small amount only, but I have a few questions, what exchange do they want to use, it should be under your account and you have full control, change the API when it comes to withdrawal it should be disabled and only you can be initiate, they just do only for trading.

You will be scammed, just desist from doing it, else, you will be scammed.Some will introduce you to their site where you can see fake positive reviews about people that have made profit while helping them to trade. All are lies.

You can trade on your own and you have no idea how they trade with your money or worst, it's a scam attempt.
I've seen many of those claiming to be trading brokers turned into a scam and just took their investors money.

simple. Make research if most brokers ask such things and if yes search for a legitimate broker to prevent scam. It's too hard to trust nowadays mate and you are right there's a bunch of scammers so you need to be aware about it. No trusted broker contacts customers personally, unless it's just an attempt to defraud negligent people. If you're looking for someone with a similar experience, the scam accusations board has several stories of victims. Most of the apps are full of scammers "Tinder".
