Guys, do you think is worth doing them and is it a good time to do one? And what do you think about trading competitions at all?

I think it's an amazing idea if you can do it. There are many projects that conduct trading competitions. This will make the coins sell faster than not competing. One of them is Bcnex which has done so recently. Sorry, not promoting it, because the promotion period has also been completed.
Agree that the trading contest will make the project more popular and its volume will increase rapidly. But there is also the problem that its price can go up and make many people suffer losses if the investment does not learn.

In fact, many are holding trade competitions to advance their projects with large rewards for winners, even when the volume is high.

Trading competition is good for the overall entities of that project, that is, the members, the exchange and the project in question. In the case of members, it gives them the opportunity to earn more tokens but however, they need to be trading experts. In the case of exchange, it helps to increase the volume of that exchanges as well as increasing its activities too. Finally, in the case of the project, it helps to increase the price while making the project to have more volume. So in all ramifications, I think trading competition is good, but make sure you are an expert before getting involved.

Trading competition is a good way to promote your coin, but I think they are mostly unfair. If a guy has 100 BTC, he can win almost every single competition just buy doing 2-3 trades and it does not matter on what exchange he does that.

in my opinion the trading competition carried out by several ICO / IEO projects is very good because this method can attract investors and traders to buy and sell using these coins ... so as to be able to boost sales until it reaches hardcap ... as has been done by the BCNEX project so that their project reaches Hardcap (88%) by holding several competition trading sessions ...

trading competition is one way to get cryptocurrency in a very pleasant way. Especially if the tokens are provided free by the exchange. It also trains trading skills and analyzes market movements. So you can get two benefits at once. An exchange which often holds trading competitions is bitforex.

Trading competitions are mostly done by exchanges to raise awareness, though how good it is totally depends on how it is planned and how generous the project is, it is a nice idea to trade, earn from your trades and also make more money through the competition.

It depends on the prizes if the prizes are big, then why not we are not giving a try? Especially if they allow us to withdraw the profit if we cannot win the trading competitions. I think that still worth to try if we have skills and want to try to win because I am sure that the prizes will be bigger than we can thaught.

In the past, projects and exchanges organising trading competitions was highly effective and not only drove prices upwards but helped with more publicity for such projects. Unfortunately, modern day Trade competitions have little or no significance. The uncertainty regarding most of these projects has meant most persons are losing interest in trading or investment and this is probably nothing.
Yes, so far the competition trading has been quite effective in attracting market attention to the tokens that have just been listing on a project. With certain prizes, traders are given the opportunity to trade, some are free and some must be deposited first. Tokens and exchanges will both benefit in expanding the market network. For traders, this is also a new way to get profit. Bitforex, one that often trades competitions.

Guys, do you think is worth doing them and is it a good time to do one? And what do you think about trading competitions at all?

I participated once in a trading competition where there were many participants. I lost a lot of money on commissions, and at the same time I did not receive anything from the exchange because I did not take the prize. Exchanges earn millions of dollars in such competitions, and pay out prizes for a couple of thousand.

I've seen different trading competitions but not mostly in crypto. The one that I saw was with trading stocks and you know what? they have a restriction that the competition would be only allowed for newbies, how can they determine that since it's with stocks?
For crypto trading, I think there will be no restriction allowed since there will be a hard way to determine if the contestant is really new to trading. Because he can just simply say that he's new to crypto trading although he's experienced.

Trading competition is one of the ways to help a listed project gain volume and most times the reward is always attractive. However, you need to be a good trader for you to participate and win. So in all trading competition is good, it helps the project, the exchange as well as the traders.

I think trading competition is best suited for experienced traders and not newbies. There are stories of people  running into severe losses courtesy trading.
Let the inexperienced learn the basis first before thinking of trading.
