Crypto trading is very risky, so it would be better if you do forex trading for a few months to get familiar with it. Once you feel confidence in forex trading then you can start crypto trading.

If I'm in it for the short-term value, should I just stop doing crypto and go hard on forex?

The question "which is better" is out of the context.

There should be no comparison as even the idea is just the same, they have a "different" approach.

Short-term or long-term, asked yourself, can I deal on Forex? can I deal on crypto? can I deal on both?. Generally, both are good and profitable depends on how well you managed it along the way. Just because someone became successful in doing forex, stocks or crypto, you will have the same experience. It's on your own hands how to make it successful in the long run.

We have different knowledge and strategy on how to deal in those, therefore, you are the only one who can answer "what's fit for you". If you are having a hard time dealing with crypto, then focus on forex and vice versa. Find your comfortability to have a relaxed mindset.
right, both of them have their own characteristics. indeed, the compatibility is in the person of each. forex and cryptocurrency as well. I think it depends on how we respond to these two investments to make a profit

So I'm subscribed to this pro program (which I recommend by the way) and they compare how it's much easier to understand forex (because there's typically an underlying cause-effect associated to currencies going up and down) whereas crypto might be more profitable but much harder to explain and therefore much risky...

I totally disagree. Algorithmic trading and HFT make the forex market incredibly choppy. Sure there may be underlying fundamental causes to major moves but most of the time you're just getting chopped to pieces by the market.

With crypto, technical price structures and breakouts is all you need to worry about.

If I'm in it for the short-term value, should I just stop doing crypto and go hard on forex?

Try it and find out. I've done well with commodities and crypto. I hated forex so much I can't even put it into words.

Forex has too many pros and the trading margins are razor thin.  Crypto trading can be quite profitable with how volatile it is and it hasn't been totally saturated yet by professional traders yet.    Trading overall though is a losing game for most people.
You got some point but not all forex traders are pros but regarding on the margin it cant really deny of it.

Its very thing and profitability is hard or lesser compared to forex because volatility isnt really that much
compared to crypto thats why every movement does really counts even on the single or simple digit.

Forex is good for people who don't like crypto. Newbies if you ask me.

those forex and stock market traders are actually coming here in crypto to take advantage of the digital gold rush. can't tell whether they are newbies as trading in the forex and stocks works almost the same way. if crypto only have the centralized software like the meta trader, developers probably will have their own AI to be used in crypto pairs.

I learned how to trade forex during my youth service in 2007 and since then I have been in the market. Since bitcoin and other cryptocoins has become popular in 2017 when it witnessed unprecedented upward movement I have to change to bitcoin trading and I can authoritatively tell you that bitcoin and Cryptocurrency trading is far better for those with micro investments and big investors compared to forex. I have been losing for years in forex and I hardly makes profits to cover my losses but with cryptocoins market I have been making profits in both bullish and bearish markets and it has been fund for me. I have developed my skills in margin trading, arbitrage trading and hedge funds for profit!

well, with forex you can lose all, while with crypto your coins can lose their value but that doesn't mean you lose the coins, so, with crypto you can wait for the coins to recover their value and then cash out, but this doesn't happen in forex. At the end both are two different things, i like more to trade with btc than to trade forex, i feel safe with crypto.

Ah! I'm also part of the ctn pro community. ping me on their telegram community. To answer your question... forex is easier to understand because if euros go down or up there's usually a logical explanation that can explain the movement. Article is on point.

Forex? Really? Get outta here man... No, really, can't take you seriously. There's no point of comparison if you ask me. It's easier to understand forex but it's also harder to profit from.

You sort of answered yourself... if you want to make money, crypto might be more risky but it's also much more profitable both long-term and short-term in my opinion.
