Yes, in trading altcoins you need also to study and analyze the movement on the graph. Also you must the the ANN section here on whats the Developer are doing or their update as it may also affects the coin price. Unpredictable? Maybe yes but you can minimize your loses if you are doing your assignment.

About the bolded part, let’s be honest what kind of person does a trade and expects to lose money? No one, every single trade is done with one thing in mind to earn money

Especially with high leverage trading, the price is too volatile to make very much money unless you have insider info or so a lot of money to move the price.

yeah you are right that trading is is unpredictable job because trading is depend on your skill and luck and if you are expert in trading then you can earning big amount profit through trading so its really very difficult to predict trading .

actually it's not that difficult,by just checking on the following coin's official announcement thread you'll get any info that's seems really useful,people always discussing there about both negative and positive sides,just keep in mind only trusting reliable information

Checking the thread alone is not enough to tell aboutt the coins. There are lots of altcoin thread that is self moderated, meaning only good points are recorded in it and those that attacks it even with basis are deleted, meaning with that approach the information is biased. Though I do agree that it is also important to get peoples view about the coin, but with thread being moderated, is it really reliable information?? Or just some make up hype?

The other people are always relaying in security of the altcoins they or they are choosing old coins like dogecoins litecoin monero that i think they are staying long live and you can make a profit for long term investment.. in newly releases altcoin it is hard to make a profit there because you really dont know if they will stay long or not.

And there are many coins that just for make profit for the developer of coins in new coins, (the people call them with scam coins) but some traders size up new altcoins are chance for make short profit.

Trading can be predictable in some cases, sometimes trading becomes predictable due to sudden news about the investment in question.
Also depends on how well you can read the market.

Im ex-trader now focus at mining, my last trade i lost arround 3btc that's make my mental down, because im not big player, and not have more capital.
the step of my next plan to start again is
1. manage capital , we must manage our capital for not only focus at trading.
2. manage our profit and lose, we must ready to take some percentage in daily lose/profit, weekly lose/profit, monthly lose/profit
3. we must ready to learn again, read more speculation article etc.
4. mental management, we must rest in the end of week end or 1day in 1week for stop trading, and go fun with our family.

But sometimes day trades are exciting especially when there is a current rally increase that is happening. It really gives an excitement since you are waiting for your target price to sold your coins.

Also when we are in the situation like that, it's really a must to have an all day monitoring for us to ride the very possible situation that will happen.

Yes trading is a very unpredictable job which requires alot of skill but next to that it requires alot of luck too.
And ofcourse luck you can't predict that's what it's so difficult to trade there's lots of variables in there which you have to figure out.

Yes trading is like cooking if want to learn how to cook just master all the ingredients to make a good taste what you cook. Trading is like that you need to master it to become a good trader. But maybe you have a patient to do that because if have not patient dont go in trading because impatient person can not succeed.

you don't need to monitoring the graph 24 hours non-stop lol ,
all you need are just to set the alarm , analyzing the candlestick ,
and you are safe to have double job in one place and one time ,
trading are not an easy way to make money if you really trade based on your own research ,
it makes trading sounds like about predicting price only.

Actual trading can be learned better if we want to learn and understand. We can find information and we can try to trade directly. At some sites there are demo trading trading, it can be used to study commerce. But if you want to use direct trade, my advice is to use a little money in advance if the first in the trade. because it will minimize losses.
