Trading/ investment can't learn not from course, ask or follow signal but by read ( watch ), try and fix. I'm not recommended your friend to receive that offer, it will wasting time, mind and mostly about fund. There's no free someday your friend will pay even not for the person who give him lesson but his asset will go to the market with out profit. Think again and I hope you'll understand.

Smells like a scam for me, First of all why would anyone give free starting capital to people that they don't even know? No one will ever waste their time just to teach someone and give extra money for free, so the man that sent a message to your friend was definitely aiming for something in return. Or lets say that it is really a legit offer, but why would he trust his money to a person that can just disappear after he send what ever cryptocurrency he wants to use to fund it, no one right? unless he's an idiot. If you want to know about trading cryptocurrency, learn the basics and watch some free tutorials, it will help a lot.

Free at first,, but when your friend on the process got hooked upfront big profits then gamble started and that scammers win.. Be suspicious and don’t trust anyone as money can makes an innocent man into devil.. Advice your friend to leave and don’t ever send any coins or cash on that man..

Remember this: Binance is one of the easiest to operate exchange available and you don’t need a guide to learn how to trade.. Self study is always advantageous..

i think it depends. i am not clear what the "offer" was here.
what do you mean "with starting capital"?

It's not possible to tell as the sentence has been constructed in such a way that it can be taken both ways. I think it is extremely likely that this is an attempted scam and he means the "teach him trading" part is free and the "starting capital" is what will be stolen.

Even if this isn't a scam you should verify the person's credentials anyway. Can they prove that they are a profitable trader? Can they provide broker or exchange statements that show they have consistently made a profit over a number of years? Can they prove they are the same person named on that account? If they can't do that then they probably have no knowledge to give you.

there can be a wide variety of reasons for someone to do something like this. maybe the person offering this is running a pump group so he wants victims who listen to him and buy shitcoins he has bought already so he can make a profit.
or maybe he simply wanted a binance referral to make more money off the commissions, maybe that is why there is a "starting capital requirement".

1.  Did your friend make any request on any thread on this forum to be taught how to trade on binance? If no, then he needs to be very careful. Scammers are quite ruthless.

2.  The free starting capital sounds dubious, it is most likely a scam.

This is probably someone trying either to make few bucks of your friend, or he is trying to scam the hell out of you guys, I'd rather not do anything he says and just ignore it or report if feels too suspicious.

Most likely not. Why would someone spend time and money in to helping a random stranger privately in the internet? I understand some people help other people by posting public articles/topics, but trying to help via private message? Nope.
