Did you host your own version? I don't think so

Well as the bloke aboves said I've got a sub average IQ, so I'm not sure what you mean I think so, I had the files on my desktop, used java 7 RTE to run the files and went to localhost.

I'm going to get something to eat and cool down for a bit, feeling a bit gutted at the moment.

Yeah I did I realised right away but because the client was still beta with problems, I couldn't change it!

EDIT: V.important people if you do want to try this use a sentence not just a word. That's all that's needed for the access to your whole account.
Weak pwds are not clever thing to do in any case, software issues are irrelevant.

No they're not, as If i could have changed it i.e. set up new wallet to send coins to I would have. Software issues were the fault and it's why projects that value themselves at launch for 13m usd shouldn't skip beta testing or people get burned.
Being an idiot once and not using strong pwd is one thing forgivable. But being an idiot twice instead of recognising your stupidity and below average IQ while blaming the software is not.

Added to Ignore list for being mentally retarded!

What do you mean twice? the client stopped working after 2 mins after my coins were transfered in what the could I do. BTW you sound like a really arrogant shit.

a 10 digit password is quite suitable for everything else I've ever used!

It's true the project is early in its development stage, but it didn't value itself at that price, the market did.

No a few horders from the 100% premine did

You can't change passwords. You can send coins to other strong pass phrase address. There is a warning in multiple places to use strong (I suggest diceware) passwords. There should be a warning on client too but investing $1k in something and not reading a thing about it is nuts. Sorry.

Well a) i did read about it, b) i tried to send my coins to a more secure address and couldn't because the client wouldn't update until 5 versions later.

IMO launching a project that's been developed in a short time by one coder and valued at 13m usd without beta testing first is nuts.

I've used bitcoin for over 2 years with a similar password and never had a problem.

I know this is no comfort to you, but to anyone else: if you're not sure that you have a strong pass phrase: create a new Nxt account with a 100 character long pass phrase, using both letters, numbers, and symbols like !? .. then send all of your Nxt to this new and secure account.

why hacked? I think this coin will easily get > $1

My coins were sent to another address by the looks of things, trying to see if I can get to the bottom of it now will post update if I do. Feel gutted over $1000 down the drain.

From your posts seems like you used a weak password?

I would advise everyone to stop buying this, my accounts been hacked already by the looks of it it's clearly at beta stage at the moment and a couple of early investors and coders seem to be trying to get rich mega quick by valuing it at 13m usd!!
