Trading crypto is very much like gambling, because there's nothing to analyze except charts and maybe news.  And most of the crypto news is complete crap and is nothing to base trades off of.  Admittedly, there's a different culture to casino gambling, sports gambling, and such, but the principle behind it is much the same.  And most importantly the risk of money is nearly the same.  It's so damn easy to lose everything trading shitcoins.

Altcoin trading is quite difficult but so for my bitcoin trading has given me some decent profits. I usually buy small quantities and sell when I make around 20% profit, but I don't do any altcoin trading because I find it very risky. Gambling is not for making money but it is meant for just to get a entertainment when we get bored so I never use gambling to earn money.

The voting is closed but the discussion continues. I think I'm a little late to vote on this thread. But anyway, I used to gamble at first, and then when I lost all my bitcoins, somebody introduced me into alt coin trading. We had this group chat on Facebook where people talk about which coin are they investing on and when are they going to sell. People that you could call experts on trading because they've been doing it for years.

Wow !! Honestly speaking, I started also in gambling and plans to stop it because I am constantly loosing all of my bitcoins so I decided to start trading.  And we also have a groups in Facebook, that was C-cex trading(3 bibe) Patience is a Virture. I learn a lot from them. Especially the experts that's why. Little by little, im recovering all my lost in gambling. Coincidence?

Every people have their own good. If you good at trading then it's better to trading and for me, i'm good at gambling and i prefer gambling than trading because i don't know how to trading.
yes pick up on the job according to your skills. if we work according to expertise and hobby then the work will be light.
each one has advantages and disadvantages of each.
Yeah both trading and gambling can be good on there own place but totally depends upon your interest and skill on it as in trading you need to be aware about many thing like markets, stocks and moment and all but in gambling its like a freedom to play like you wish :p so choose one of it and go ! but every time i choose trading as it seems more legit to me every time Cheesy

Of course trading needs extra knowledge of that market where you are trying to trade and  while gambling needs patience, without greed and should have long term purpose. Both are full of the possibility of danger and many people loose money in both they think them easy. And for me trading is not for everyone.  Maybe you need some common sense and should be a person with strong will of taking decision & will become unpleasant dream.

It is good to have the possibility of great rewards, but I also always try to reduce the risks. So I consider trading a wise option.

Trading is good when you don't do a day trading and also don't trade with borrowed money. Because sometimes we may need to wait for quite long time to make a profit from our trade. The day trading just like guessing game and it is almost same a gambling so we just depend on luck to make profits from day trading. I too prefer trading to earn some money over the time and gambling is just for fun.

Gambling its a 50% odds to win or to loose, the big difference between the trading is you may stop your loosings at 10% or even less or more. But the potencial earnings from gambling makes anybody to risk.

Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing  Tongue

If done correctly, trading is much safe, in my opinion, because trading is not completely random, there are causes and effects. There are many professional traders, but not much professional gamblers (most of them are poker players). Did you ever heard about someone making a living with dice or slots?
Also, sports betting is probably the closest to trading, since you can try to predict the outcome by analyzing some information.

Good advice. If we are just disciplined enough and eager to learn about trading and also with gambling, we can increase our chances of winning. If we play blind, then bust is imminent.

Well if you are a newbie trading is not the best option that you can have because it requires you to have some sort of reseaech and understanding. While gambling is quite easy to understand and would only depends on your luck some sort of skills is quitely needed on what game do you play

trading and gambling without a system to follow is like giving away your hard earned money. Better to equip yourself with skills of doing trading or gambling first before doing either.

if you gamble at random bets, you will most likely bust than having a pre-bet system and many sessions.

same is true to trading - when you trade without studying the fundamental and technical aspect of it, you will surely lost all of your money, unless you are lucky - but seldom you are and most of the time are not lucky enough.

Don't know really about trading except alt coin stuff but that is not really trading except for fun.
So gambling seems more serious because of those two points you made about how you must use your brain to beat the other players. So I would go with that if I were to chose one over the other.

At the moment, I am also heavy on gambling but I am now learning the ways on how to do trading the right way. I am not profiting that big yet in gambling but I am slowly recovering from my big losses. Online casino dice can attest to my losses Smiley
