I would suggest cabalism to choose a better gambling website, for eg.; Stake where they can deposit in various cryptocurrencies and some of them are very cheap in regards to paying fees for withdrawals.
Or go to another casino that accepts instant deposits(like sportsbet) because the network is so hectic these past few days surging to 200k transactions and that might take a week or two to go down.

If it's on a non custodial wallet it's probably better to hold our bitcoins for now and try to resist the urge to gamble since we'll be spending nearly the same amount of fees when converting to alts unless you have some backup funds sitting on an exchange.

Seriously?  0.0008 usd is equivalent to 45 usd, that's just crazy, I have never encounter that kind of huge fee using electrum.

I always select the Mempol when making a transaction, way better that you can adjust, not the "ETA" as I guess it's automatic.

Equivalent now is 10 usd if I'll send all my balance worth  55 usd. imagine, 20% fee.  Grin

We can also choose our own fee rate to pay in electrum and also use some accelerators to lower the fees problem, I saw some good guys accelerating transactions for free in the 'Services' area. I would suggest cabalism to choose a better gambling website, for eg.;

Thanks for the suggestion, I also saw the "free accelaration" in the services, have tried it once, it was indeed free but it wasn't as fast as I expected, maybe I'm just too rush to gamble that time but will try again. Electrum suggest that amount as the lowest, so it should not confirm fast, I'm thinking, how much more slower if I will reduce the suggested fee.  Sad

I just check my electrum wallet and have tried to transact but it prompt me with "0.00014" or 8 usd at the current price, that's the cheapest for now but I don't know how long it will confirm.
8 USD for 2 inputs and 1 2 out transaction will be reasonable for me but yesterday when I checked (by the times of bitcoin was recovering from below $52k levels) elecctrum showed me around 0.0008BTC for same set of transaction. This is the reason I have switched to dogecoin and trx form my gambling purposes. Moreover I am a fan of waves coins but unfortunately most of my favorite gambling houses are not supporting it. If you check in most exchanges, waves must be having the cheapest withdrawal request.

These are average fees and this is the best time on making use some Alts which does have much more cheaper fees
than these two.

Can't even take a look for a long time. It hurts, it really hurts damn.
Imagine you have a 50 USD worth of BTC salary a week in Telegram / Campaign, then you have to withdraw them out on your whatsoever wallet you are using for, damn, I can already make a lot of bets on slots @ FJ with that price.

I feel you man.I have that kind of feeling on where you cant make out any transactions because of high fees. You cant just afford on paying up upto $10-20 per transaction which you can make use of
those amounts for you to gamble or simply you can cherish of those amounts on playing minimal.

Now, ive been waiting for a while until the fees would subside because i cant pull off those funds outside and i cant make out any conversions internally.

That is 27 usd and 24 usd respectively?

I guess that's too high, I can still transact bitcoin paying less than 10 usd and it confirm within 24 hours, I know depending on the situation but let's just look for the right timing if we want to save a little bit, but of course altcoins is the best answer.

In Blockchain.com, they calculate the fee in two ways. First is for priority confirmation (i.e confirmation in 5-20 minutes). Right now, the average fee in this sector is $20 to $25 per transaction. Then there is the fee for regular transaction (which can take up to 2 hours for confirmation). And this one is going at $10-$15 right now, for transaction of median size. If you are ready to wait for up to 24 hours, then it may be possible to get the transaction confirmed after paying much lower fee.

Still high, actually if I make transactions I don't want to wait for 24 hours, maybe 1 to 2 hours is still acceptabl but I won't be paying with such high price. I just check my electrum wallet and have tried to transact but it prompt me with "0.00014" or 8 usd at the current price, that's the cheapest for now but I don't know how long it will confirm.

Imagine paying 10 USD for transaction that amount still huge as we can still enjoy it to roll it out on gambling site that's why I always go to the best solution and withdraw only by using good alt listed. XRP is one of the best option that's why I always go with casino who have this listed since I'm so allergic to pay such huge amount an if we set less we cannot receive our funds immediately as our balances floating around for so long in the network.

Transaction fee is killing, gamblers least think about the fee. Yesterday I made a transaction into an exchange, and upon yesterday's ethereum price I was charged $41 as transaction fee. If this is the case automatically the real-time usage of cryptocurrencies will diminish with time. Even after upgrades the transaction fee isn't getting low. Hope the scenario will change, and I don't know how Tron is managing with low transaction cost and fast confirmation.

Bitcoin and Ethereum is not an option anymore, they are the one that started the gambling ventures of many gambling sites but unfortunately because of the present situation, high fees and slow transaction, gamblers have chosen better options in Tron and other altcoins.

Tron is a good choice right now, but look at the price it's not moving as we expect it to be, they should break their all-time high, it has demand among gamblers.

I just think, if you're a betting enthusiast, the best way to save money is to claim your payment right on their platform. You promote a platform by campaign, there's no reason for you to move money there to another platform, right? A lot of platforms that are paying participants on their campaign by credit money to the account, which is really good.
His campaign right now is playbetr, hosted by Hhampuz and afaik payments are sent to their Segwit BTC address. I'd reckon they wouldn't make a special case for OP to send the payment to his account, not to mention that he plays on FJ (or local ones), and not really on the campaign he's currently endorsing. I do agree though that campaigns sending payments to the accounts is helpful, had the chance to actually play quite a bit without having to deal with the pain in the ass fees.

On that note, BTC went up to 40 and ETH down to 18, I hardly doubt we'd still get a chance to see the fees go below 10 at this point when the average for it was way back in January.

My last Ethereum transaction was two months ago and my last Bitcoin transaction was four months ago both on gambling sites, this is just now that I've seen how important altcoins are my favorite altcoins now are Tron, Dogecoin, and Litecoin, cheap fast and these altcoins are making pumps in the market too, what more can you ask for.

This will really cost you a lot and it's not a recommended way to fund your gambling account, one of the option is to ask your friend to send you Eth or Bitcoin to your wallet, and pay him with fiat based on the fiat conversion, the other option which is a popular now, is to use other coins to fund your account, all the other players including me are using other coins, like Tron, Doge, Litecoin.

Bitcoin transactions fees are rediculously high right now and no one in their right mind would accept to deposit a small amount and pay half of it in fees.
My advice is to look for a casino that accepts other cryptocurrencies with lower transaction fees such as LTC (I would avoid Doge right now for obvious reasons!).
If, for some reason, you can only use bitcoin then you should opt for casinos which offer instant deposits (0-confirmation). This way you can broadcast the deposit transaction with a low fee rate and start playing right away without waiting for it to confirm.

Hey guys, I was wondering on how do you fund your Gambling Account if we currently have high fees on ERC20 and Bitcoin?

Many gambling websites now offer many cryptocurrencies to use on their platform. To have lesser fees I often use TRX or doge to play, the amount you will earn is still the same if you convert it to stablecoins. It also has an advantage using those because you can play longer with those cheap coins. Even if the fees are low, using bitcoin or ethereum to gamble is not good for me because you are just wasting a big amount money in the future. This is what I've realized wasting more than 0.01btc just to gamble in the past.

If you have TRX or DOGE already in your wallet, then there is nothing wrong in using them for making the payment. On my part, I mostly go with BTC, since I don't have a lot many altcoins with me. Purchasing altcoins using BTC and then using them for the payment can be counterproductive, due to the extremely unstable exchange rates. And I don't necessarily agree with the last part of your post. The payment needs to be made and it doesn't really matter whether you are using BTC or fiat for that. If you really feel that you will lose out in the future, then why can't you purchase a large amount of BTC right now, rather than worrying about spending these small amounts?

Actually it depends on the value of btc you are trading, if you are trading like $100 below, then I guess it's still good to convert it to altcoins you've mentioned so you will be able to save on the fees. For me, I usually trade my btc to xrp to gamble, it made my life easier and I don't have to worry on the high fees anymore, and there's a bonus, transaction are instant.
