that wasn't a mental illness at all it is just an adaptation in people surroundings example of that when the only take caring of a boy is his mother then he adopted what her mother doing so he wanted to be like his mother or maybe he adapted it in his playmates  like he was playing in a girl   then other children call him a gay then he believe in his self he was a gay at all

I think the condition of "gender mismatch" is caused by the condition of "a lot of free time". This condition allows you think a lot and doesn't allow people accept their life as it is.

....
Declaring a condition a mental illness is not equivalent to "demonizing" it. People suggesting medical treatment (other than reassignment surgery which has a horrible rate of success improving anything), are actually attempting to help these people live a healthy, happy, stable life.

However people such as yourself would rather lie to them, encourage the conditions causing them discontent and pain, and use them as cover to push your bullshit Marxist ideologies. You don't give a FUCK about transgender people, they are simply a convenient tool for you to use much like other minority groups.

++++

I would note in passing though, that when people categorize something as a medical "illness" or a "condition" or NOT, it has huge impacts on what insurance and government agencies pay and do not pay for.

Who decides what is a normal mental state versus an illness?

I'm fairly certain there are zero "normal people" on this planet... everyone is a unique snowflake

Why demonize people for being different than you?

I hope you realize you also have personality traits which could be deemed abnormal, everyone does... you cannot condemn a mental illness without condemning yourself

More to the point... if you claim transgenderism is a mental illness... you are misinformed, because it was removed from that category:

Being transgender no longer classified as mental illness. Here's why

"It was taken out from the mental health disorders because we had a better understanding that this wasn't actually a mental health condition and leaving it there was causing stigma," said Dr. Lale Say, coordinator of WHO's Adolescents and at-Risk Populations team. "So in order to reduce the stigma while also ensuring access to necessary health interventions, this was placed in a different chapter."

If you still claim it is a mental illness, then you are simply a bigot who doesn't care what the science says, and you just hate people who are different for no reason other than you want to hate people who are different

I don't consider myself anti-gay or anti-trans but I think that these people are hurting themselves by attempting these surgeries. We're entering a phase where we don't really know who we're looking at and talking to. You see someone who looks like a man, but if you use the correct personal pronoun you get yelled at. Or you see a woman who dresses like a woman but wants to be called John because she's currently in a phase where she feels like a man and wants to be treated accordingly. The world is getting crazier by the minute.

Am I the only one who finds it interesting that so many of these anti-gay or anti-trans politicians and preachers keep getting caught having sex with underage boys?
Yes. I don't know why anyone's surprised by it; Christianity is fundamentally based on the principle of penal substitution, the theory that you can project your sins onto an innocent being (such as Jesus or the scapegoat of Azazel) who will be punished in your place, as though justice is served so long as someone is punished, it doesn't matter who. It is perfectly consistent with this doctrine for Christian abusers to seek absolution by accusing others of sexual depravity. If you can make someone else suffer for your sin, that makes it okay.

Ex-GOP senator who voted for anti-trans ‘bathroom bill’ gets 15 years for child sex trafficking
http://deadstate.org/ex-gop-senator-who-voted-for-anti-trans-bathroom-bill-gets-15-years-for-child-sex-trafficking/

Quote
In March of 2017, former Oklahoma state senator Ralph Shortey was arrested and charged with child prostitution after being caught in a hotel room with an underage boy. This Monday, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison on a child sex trafficking charge.

Shortey, who is now 36, faced sentences between 10 years to life. Once he is released from prison, he’ll serve 10 additional years of supervised probation. The judge said that Shortey will also have to pay a fine at a later date that could be up to $250,000.

In November, Shortey pleaded guilty in a deal that allowed prosecutors to drop three child pornography charges against him, a deal he said at the time was in the best interest of him and his family.

According to the Moore Police Department, Shortey was arrested in March of 2017 after police went to “check on a juvenile at the Super 8 Motel” in Moore, Oklahoma. When they found Shortey and the juvenile, who was then 17, there was allegedly a “strong smell of marijuana” and an open box condoms in the juvenile’s bag. Shortey claimed he had simply gone to the hotel to “hang out with a friend.”

Police also said they found  sexually explicit exchanges on the teen’s tablet in which Shortey referred to the teen as “baby boy” and offered him cash in exchange for “sexual stuff.”

According to ABC News, Shortey resigned shortly after the arrest and his wife divorced him earlier this year.

In the wake of Shortey’s arrest, LGBT advocacy groups pointed out his support for anti-transgender legislation such as a proposed “bathroom bill” from 2016.

From The Norman Transcript:

These stigmatizing bills create fear, bias, and discrimination against the LGBTQ community even when they fail. We find it highly ironic that Senator Shortey voted to advance this legislation out of committee, and less than a year later, he was caught in what appears to be actual predatory behavior toward a vulnerable youth. …

There has never been a legitimate recorded incident in Oklahoma of a transgender person harming anyone in a restroom, yet there are numerous accounts of predatory behavior by anti-LGBTQ legislators who have taken bigoted votes akin to the vote Senator Shortey cast last year.

Shortey had also previously used fake names to acquire child pornography and to seek out minors on the internet.

I also find it interesting that republicans accused democrats (specifically Hillary Clinton) of child sex trafficking... yet a republican senator is the one convicted of the crime...

Granted, Harvey Weinstein is a democrat accused of a similar crime (though he is not a politician, nor has he been convicted)

THIS. Let people live their lives. If it's not hurting anyone (aside from their beliefs but they can suck it), why demonize them?

I think we should let people do what they want and not judge them.  However I do think transgenders are being pushed on the public with people like Kaitlyn Jenner, you can't even say anything negative about them without receiving a lot of backlash.
So much for accurate and impartial medical diagnosis and decision making....

I Want My Sex Back. Transgender people who regretted changing sex

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R7DXnqkfJw

Billy, Rene and Walt were born male, but they all felt uncomfortable with their sex. So they underwent sex reassignment surgery, believing it would end their distressing condition, which is known as gender dysphoria – feeling uncomfortable with your birth sex. However, becoming female only brought problems, disappointment and regret.
I don't know if it is that true but I think it would be just like a mental disease if that's the case. But for those who gain satisfaction after doing sex reassignment, then it isn't a negative thing to see. If at the end of the day, they would be happy, contented, and satisfied with it, then I believe that this would also offers positive impact. But we should not set aside the negative side, the thing is if they experience regret then try to do something to see the brighter side of what can you do for it.

yea, regret will come at the end of the story.
if we are not thankful for what God gives, maybe God will give a trial.
the story above gives us a reminder of how important being grateful for what is in us.

Who decides what is a normal mental state versus an illness? - Everybody does. If they didn't, you wouldn't have any right for your ideas.

I'm fairly certain there are zero "normal people" on this planet... everyone is a unique snowflake - All people are normal. Why? Because not-being-normal is the norm.

Why demonize people for being different than you? - Yes. Ask yourself that question.

I hope you realize you also have personality traits which could be deemed abnormal, everyone does... you cannot condemn a mental illness without condemning yourself - Thanks for showing us how normal you are. How are you doing it? By being different, just like all the rest of us.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2018/06/20/transgender-not-mental-illness-world-health-organization/717758002/ - USA Today doesn't control what I think. Just like you, I am normal by being not normal. I don't have to be normal by agreeing to what you and other people think.

- Not in my book. And obviously, not in the books of some other people.

If you still claim it is a mental illness, then you are simply a bigot who doesn't care what the science says, and you just hate people who are different for no reason other than you want to hate people who are different

You seem to have an authority complex. And it is a self-contradictory authority complex. First you accept the authority of others. Then you accept the authority of yourself against the authority of others.

Of course, we are all like that. We are normally abnormal. We are abnormally normal. Normal for us is being not normal with anybody else who we don't want to be normal with.

Aren't we all a bunch of weirdos? Cheesy

It isn't a mental illness, it is a mindset created by the snowflake teachers and social workers who seek to destabilise society.
It also creates suitable victims for a variety of sexually deviant practices.

Usually when I hear or watch stories about transgenders, they are all positive about it.

Have you ever considered the possibility that you have been propagandized?
