Mental patients need psychiatric treatment and not respect. I am OK with gays and lesbians. You can say that as per the rules of the nature, around 1% of the population will be homosexual. But the case with transgenders is different. It is not a natural condition, but a mental disease.

Well, that is their choice. They chose to be transgenders and nobody pushes them to do. This is a free society so we cannot force those who cannot accept them to forcefully accept and like them if they dont want. Just like them, they are free to choose what they want and the rest are also free like and dislike whom they want.

good point. There are several transgender who contribute well in our society especially in fashion industry. One should have liberty in choosing what they want for themselves. Although most of them do it to extremes that it disrespects several religious beliefs, still they don't deserve to be treated anything lower than animals.

What is the benefit from the fasion industry to the common man. It brings us nothing except the same gay community around it. But it's not matter if they do not provide rodstering behind the borders of it. Gay parads, sexual offences e.t.c.

Nowadays transgender is accepted by most country but still there are country that do not welcome transgender. I advise borrow money and travel to the near country or if possible into far away country that welcome transgender. For now everyone have the rights to live despite of what gender we are. Everyone is the same human. We have the word respect to each other. Don't hide and run in our own country but go in to other country to have your freedom.

A lot of argument says that being transgender is not a choice, that there's a psychological explanation invovled with it. But as of now no research or studies to back it up.

As of now I see it as a choice and people should have the liberty to choose for their own and be respected. All rights should also be given because they are not criminals.

Where I currently lived, transgenders were continually accepted by the society. Well they were people by the way. The organization named CHR or commission on human rights have been creating a law equalizing all of the rights for every human that deserve it. In fact, my country has a transgender on the government.
We treat them like people. But like other countries they we not fully accepted for they are against the expectations of people, what God has commanded to live, and what the people needed and wanted for the society.
In any case, treat them like how you treat a normall neighbor. Treat them like how you value others.

It's not a simple question. May be it is a kinda trial. Can we fight with our weakness and sins or not. Instead of respect it with a proud like some achievment.

Then it would be unfair because only some people feel they are the wrong sex.

Then they should go to the medic. Psychiatrist, surgeon and treat themself somehow. Instead of crying - we are the third gender, we are special.
You know all who get surgery are still crying that, going that gay parades . As for me, it seems just insane.

It has never been proven that you can convert someone into a heterosexual just like you can't convert yourself into a homosexual.

Any desiase can be treated somehow. Bad behavior can be corrected also.
