More than 30 business outlets in Agnes Water and the City of 1770 in Central Queensland are currently receiving crypto currency as a means of payment. People in the coastal city call themselves the first "digital currency-friendly" tourist city in Australia.

The goal is to attract an international tourist market niche, which can pay for various products and services with digital currencies such as bitcoins that can be converted to Australian dollars.

Local real estate agent Gordon Christian said he had gained the support of local entrepreneurs to embrace digital currency technology into their city to boost key industries in their region of tourism.

Gordon Christian said the strategy was aimed at attracting more tourists to the area and attracting tourist alternatives.

It's a very good idea or idea, and I'm very much in the way that I do it all, and I'm sure with the payment system using crypto it will add to the increase in world visitors.
I am excited for the very successful implementation of digital payment. That can be more faster and easier transaction to make reservations and payment. Country that accepts digital currency being grateful for the advancement of technology. That is the proof that digital currency can exist all over the world and can be applied for the companies.

Australia is a great country that supports and helps the popularity of Bitcoin and crytocurrency as a whole. If someday I can go there, I want to try to travel there. Want to know how the digital currencies accepted there. And also, I will try to utilize my Bitcoin as payments for tourism purpose at first time.
Emm... It should be cool if in my country also accepted the Bitcoin for tourism payments since here there are a lot of tourism places.   Cool

In advance countries, the use of cryptocurrency as a means of daily payment like taxis, restaurant and other essential services are increasingly becoming enormous. It is a good news for the cryptocurrency community since such move put a positive spotlight on cryptocurrency.

countries that reject the use of bitcoin should begin to imitate developed countries, see the enormous potential that can be obtained in the use of bitcoin currencies, besides being able to get income from tourists who will enter the country, by providing facilities and infrastructure for the use of bitcoin widely, it is certain will be the main attraction of foreign visitors.

with more alternative payments will make it easier for tourists who want to visit. Previously I also read that Thailand has also adopted bitcoin for the tourism industry https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-adoption-thailand-tourism-industry-scaling-debate/

This is a good market strategy to increase the number of visiting tourists.

Yes! I think Bitcoin is only available in some countries, but most are not. Because Bitcoin is not licensed by the states because they see Bitcoin as a virtual currency that harms investors.

It is good to see the good news from Australia that block chain technology is really promising in the tourism industry. If everyone uses bitcoin at the time of travel, it will make the tourism industry more cooperative, and it will be more convenient for people to travel.
I agree, quick and easy transactions would be a great asset to the tourism industry! it would bring only good change.
