I'd really love it if I could go travelling entirely on my Bitcoin profits. Would be awesome to spend my coins whilst abroad too. Saves exchanging cash etc.

Time is on our side, yes it is!
There was a fella who traveled across America from coast to coast using bitcoins but not exactly the way you are suggesting.  Was very exciting project he put together at the time IMO as it was years ago.

In our country bitcoin is not famous, so its not possible traveling with bitcoin

There are lots of countries where bitcoin isn't famous, where are you from?

Well, is there any where it is famous? Wink
Maybe Cyprus, be even there it is not widely used.

Would cashing some out via localbitcoins and then using the cash to buy food be considered cheating? lol

Cheating, definitely  Cheesy But nice try anyway.

If you want to travel with Bitcoin , then you have to be clear that Bitcoin should be accepted wherever you go.

First of all you have to do a research of the place you want to travel too,so you can see what hotels/motels/restaurants etc accept bitcoins. This is an good idea to travel with bitcoin, maybe travel tourism company will have the brilliant idea to accept bitcoins.

Totally agree with you. I think that the first tourism company, which will accept bitcoin, will earn a lot on this acceptance. Even more, I suppose that accepting bitcoin will make any tourism company really famous. That's nice business idea)

I'm sure there is a documentary in the works about someone who did this. It would be pretty difficult I imagine, but I hope it'll become easier in the future.
Read an article about the journalist which lived 5 days only on BTC. Back in 2013 BTC wasn't as popular and the journalist really struggled lol. Can't give you a link tho.

I guess atm you can pretty succesfully travel with Bitcoins - there are a lot of Bitcoin ATMs in Dubai afaik - try to travel there. Smiley

I've already read this and the author's experience is truly awesome. Maybe I'll try to live only on BTC first and then I'll try to find some adventures travelling with BTC only. On the other hand, I suppose that it's might be pretty easy to travel with BTC and with USD (I mean to use both currencies).
