They offered sending me a new device in exchange of destroying the current one and taking video proof for that
This is a great solution to your problem. But such responses from the manufacturers' support make me doubt the cost price of these devices (market value), if the company is ready to send a new hardware wallet for free. It seems to me that these devices are overpriced.
but since im living on third world country and customs usually opening packages
Well, you've found the culprit of the incident. If it was the customs officers who did it, then you hardly have to worry about the device (authenticity). I don't think (but it's theoretically possible) that there could be enough qualified specialists among their employees who could slip you a hacked device.
they may do it again with the new device (Break the seal)
If it was customs officers, they will be able to repeat it.
also my coutry is against crypto and considered illegal i gambled and got lucky this time to not get seized but who
know what may happen next time
With such input data, the authenticity of this hardware wallet is the least of the problems you may have.
I could suggest you to use this device sent to you with the proviso to send only a couple of bucks to this wallet and see what happens to the contents of the wallet. This will dispel your doubts.
P.S. for the paranoid: don't forget to reset the device to factory settings again.
