Well, as long as we're pretending that you're not the scammer "Garry Simon" and that you're a satisfied customer of his and that you didn't promote a bunch of scam sites, why don't you want to put your money where your mouth is? If everything you've done here is legit and above board, I'm offering you a really easy 2 bitcoin. "Garry" has been begging for me to send him just one more payment and it was your thread that started this mess for me so how about you put up the 1 bitcoin security I'm asking for?

Never scammed anyone. Happy New Yr to you Dear.

"Dear"? Anyone that's read any Nigerian scammer email before binning it will recognise their odd predilection for that term of reference. Pig's arse you're based in Illinois, "Garry", you low-life scamming worm.

Hey, coinbuyer, do you still want to pretend that you're not scammer "Garry Simon" and that you haven't just been promoting your own scams on this forum? Well then, I've got an offer for you. Put up 1 bitcoin with a trusted escrow provider on this forum as security, I will then pay what "Garry Smith" asks. If "Garry" finally pays the 10 bitcoin he owes me, you get your bitcoin back from the escrow and I will pay you 2 bitcoin.

This post is to remind people that I got ripped off after contacting a site listed in this thread started by coinbuyer: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/buying-bitcoins-with-paypal-and-others-775272

All of the links supplied by coinbuyer (aka scammer "Garry Simon") should be considered as scams:

I just updated my OP with this:

This scam site has been cycling through a number of alternate blogspot addresses. Currently one of them is http://payypalexchange.blogspot.com/

They all look fairly similar though.

This is the dodgy screenshot "Garry Simon" sent me on the 18th of September 2014. It proves nothing but he's really sensitive about it for some reason.

Just for once, just for the sheer novelty of it, show a tiny, little bit
of good faith, send me one bitcoin. That will prove to me that you're
not completely full of shit. Then I will pay your stupid fee. I can't be
any more reasonable than that. For all the money I've sent you, for all
the hassle you've put me through, for all your lame excuses, here's your
chance to prove that your intentions were actually good all along.

For that matter, Mr.Oh-so-legitimate-bitcoin-trading-professional, why
don't you just take your stupid fee out of what you owe me and send me
the rest? Wouldn't that be the easiest possible solution? Or is problem
solving such an unfamiliar concept to you?

Hello Chris,

We told we dont ulter ones money, coins. Your coins is deposited in one wallet and we do not and shall never touch it. the fee is cost we incured for protection against theft because we were under attack sometimes.

We dont and will not send 0.0001 BTC to prove anything. We are not a child here but we have answered this question here long ago. I have told you to read our mail conversation over and over again because anything you will ask has been answered there.

Lastly We wont hold your paypal funds for 72hrs or 48hrs We have told you 1hr. Send paypal after 1hr you dont get your BTC then Claim back the funds. The money you sent is small considering what we handle and we have showed you that before. So please kindly read our mails again and when you send the paypal you will be forced to eat back your words for all the bad names you have called us.

Thanks.

Why? Don't you know how to generate a new bitcoin wallet with an offline computer?

> The screenshot we showed you is [...] we cannot show anything again to you because you show them in public forum.

That's not true. But I don't see why I shouldn't share that image, it's just a doctored piece of crap that doesn't prove any of your claims. Why do you think exposing a wallet address is a security risk? If that were true, bitcoin would be useless.

> And if you keep posting in public forum our information then know that from now till the next 10yrs you will never [...

bla bla bla. How old are you? You come across like a child and not a very bright one either.

Why did you switch back to making threats instead of just answering the questions from my last email? I really want to know so you can start with: What is the business that you claim is holding my bitcoin in "cold storage"?

Actually, I also really want to know why you can't send my bitcoin to one of the trusted escrow guys on bitcointalk, why can't you show one tiny, little bit of good faith instead of continuing to behave like a lying, evasive piece of shit theif?

We are not and never active in any forum. Any business you got in any
forum is for you.

Secondly read our mails again and see reason for another payment.

Your paypal payment was in review for up to 10days and we cant stop
our business activities because of it.

To know more please we cant keep talking the same thing always just
read this over and over again because we have said it over 50 times.

May you have a successful day.

Thanks.

You are right, segvec. I have been scammed, I had to admit that to myself weeks ago. About the only good that can come out of it is for me to draw this person out and expose them for what they are so that anyone that cares to look can learn from my mistake.

Who is it that is allegedly holding my bitcoin in "cold storage"?

Why do you expect me to believe that such a thing should not only cost money but also be expensive?

Are you aware that "cold storage" of bitcoin simply means spending to a wallet address whose private key was generated on an off-line computer?

What is the wallet address that you claim has my 10 bitcoin?

Do you realise this alleged practice of yours of holding bitcoin for customers in individual wallet balances is inconsistent with the screen shot you once sent me showing a blockchain wallet, supposedly belonging to you, with a balance of 322.35011784 bitcoin?

Do you also realise that is inconsistent with your claimed hatred of fractional balances?

Hello Chris,

We sell volumes of coins and our email and system is under attack almost everyday. We are paying for cold storage security and we don't want to have it in our reserve so we wont loose any clients funds. We went on break because of constant long days review of paypal for your funds. The screenshot we showed you is what we wanted to show on our selling wallet stock and we cannot show anything again to you because you show them in public forum. And if you keep posting in public forum our information then know that from now till the next 10yrs you will never ever have the coins. If you stop and pay the 350 usd in 1hr after your paypal has been sent you have the coins.

Normally we should hold paypal for some days but we are giving you 1hr. If we don't send the coins chargeback on the money. this is to show you we are determined to end this long business problems you caused. Thanks.

Note this, johnsonn, not a single question answered and you've reverted to threats again.

Hello Chris,

We are Located at Illinois Usa. Our service is online and we are very well registered. Only an artony or court of Law will request for our details and we shall give it out. You have caused us damages with our email being public and we shall never give out any info to you. $350 storage fee will never kill you. Its only that, that will make your coins to be out. Thanks.

My first thought was, 'I wonder if I can just pose as an attorney the same way they posed as a 'Criminal Jurisdiction Dept Interpool of New Jersey Usa' staff member?' https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9678547

But I can do better than that.  I'd sooner give $350 to a lawyer to f*ck with this idiot than give him any further satisfaction.

Hello Chris,

We dont know what Bitcoin is but be assured that we do not remove
anything from anyone money. Rmember we have always been communicative
to you and the issue here is only 350 usd of cold storage which we
also accepted you should pay half of it but you declined.

We have never gone back on our word rather you will say circumstances
had a tole on us. Everyone will be suprised that you will get your btc
once the cold storage money is paid. We cant dent our image and name
because of your amount of money.

We have exchanged more than that amount for many clients and no
problem has occured and no one has said we have scammed him.

Your only being pushed by people telling you we are bad but we advice
you please dont listen to them.

Thanks.

I've been ready for you to stand by your word for months, since you
first promised to pay me 2 bitcoin, then 5 and then 10. All you have
done in this time is tell lies, make excuses and steal from me. Every
step along the way, you have reneged on a done deal. You have done the
exact opposite of standing by your word. You pretend that you can't
simply pay me a fractional amount of bitcoin, that you can't refund my
paypal and that "cold storage" of bitcoin is costly. Do you even know
what bitcoin is?

Hello Chris,

We have sounded this thousand times we have no account in any forum. We are not impersonating to be anyone. We are not interested in reading what you created. The cold storage we put your btc is costing much and if you do not pay we shall be forced to pull it out of storage and give the funds to charity since you have shared our email in public forum and we have been getting all sorts of damaging emails. Fine for doing this is 150 usd.

Now read this: WE SHALL NEVER EVER SEND 1 BTC OR HALF OR REFUND BACK ANY FUNDS UNTIL YOU PAY FINE OF 150 USD AND THEN THE 350 FOR THE COLD STORAGE. Paypal review which lasted for 10 days caused this.

YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND POST ANYTHING YOU WISH IN 5,000 FORUMS, OR EVEN IN NATIONAL NEWS PAPERS. We do not care for that. All we know is when your ready to pay the fine and the storage fee we shall attend to you if not stop wasting your time.

Thanks.

I had difficulties with their ordering process, I missed one of their emails telling me to go ahead with the paypal transaction. After I finally sent my last payment, I had many other things to do so I've only just checked my email again after almost 24 hours.  They're saying paypal is reviewing the payment and I that I should contact paypal.

To be honest, after all the bs I've gone through with them, I'm not surprised.

Maybe I'm being oversensitive but, from the undertone of their message to me, they are mocking me.

I've contacted paypal to try to confirm if what I've been told is true.

Also, the attachment of the paypal screenshot they sent me is heavily doctored.

I'm not impressed and I think if you're still intent on doing business with them, try a small amount first and build up when you're sure you can trust them. This is what I tried to do by buying 2 bitcoin but they put me up to 5 and then 10. I'm an idiot for believing their excuses for why they couldn't pay me the initial 2 bitcoin.

Still nothing from paypal but I only began contact with them on the weekend. It's Monday morning here so if I'm lucky I might get a response later today and then I will know more. MTB suggested they can refund my last payment and I can then try to send it again but I don't understand how they can do that if paypal is reviewing it. Doesn't that mean MTB have no control over that money?

hey-wao long time-was out of country...so how your biz going...how many coins you bought from MTB business ? know you have made so much profit in btc with mtb good rates.

Aside from coinbuyer's posts (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/coinbuyer-357816) in this thread, their account seems to be inactive now. It also seems that litecoinbtc (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/litecoinbtc-396848) is another inactive account controlled by this person / people so look out for anyone using such dodgy tactics and excuses. And such weird, shitty grammar. Where do these arseholes come from?

It was nice of moneypakto-aaand-it's-gone to post in this thread, I should encourage them to reply here rather than email me. It'd sure save a lot of copy&pasting.

When this started a few days ago, the price we agreed on was $430 / btc and they offered me 2 btc for my paypal. Due to the time it takes for paypal to clear, they didn't hold that order but were able to offer me 5 btc. So I had to pay for an addition 3 btc. I'm about $US60 short of the full amount due to paypal fees and multiple transactions etc. And I'm currently stuck waiting for more funds to clear in my paypal account... And then there's the trouble I'm having with Ukash... That was supposed to be a stop-gap, instant method for me to pay them but one of my new ukash vouchers failed... Ukash support tell me to just wait a few more hours to use the voucher so I wait...

i kinda understand....one things here... you now seeking to buy 5 btc because of some kind conditions or circumstance....

advice...
1. in btc buying make sure you use flexible payment method which will go straight without issues to your merchant....
2. make sure you never delay in payment to them when rate is agreed. it happens even in bitstamp, btc-e rate changes when payment got delayed.....
3. this rate you gave here they gave you that .... for real....why arent you buying 20 or 30 btc off them then.....than do small 2 to 5...kinda order now btc is low....

now do you permit me to ask them if they can give me rate they give you...and will give reference to you....i think i like the rate may be can go straight to do....15btc buy with them...... i think you got the best chance many are looking for getting these coins low...... so reply me now...

I hear what you're saying. Actually, it was your post that put me onto them. I'm sure they'll tell you the same prices they've been telling me if you contact them to make an order. I think they have a lot of people selling bitcoin to them and not so many buyers at the moment so go ahead and do a deal. I'll be interested to know any details if you want to share them.

I think I'm ok despite the payment delays due to bitcoin's falling price. I would be interested in buying more but I'm content to wait for this transaction to complete before going any further.

My trade is still pending but I think I've finally managed to fully pay for the 5 bitcoin they bumped me up to. I ran my paypal account right down but there was still some small discrepancy and I offered Ukash because it was available to me and I thought it would be quick. Trouble is, Ukash sucks, that little extra payment took an extra day (because my ukash.com account has some bullshit limitation on it) and cost me more than it should have. But I think the rest of this trade is now up to them.

They *really* push Neteller, is that what you're using?

That's interesting... They asked me not to discuss the rate in an earlier email. When I contacted them I agreed to buy 2 bitcoin, by the time my paypal payment to them cleared there was some problem and they convinced me to buy an extra 3 bitcoin... I had difficulty getting the full payment to them but that's been done now. But now they're trying to convince me to pay for an extra 5 bitcoin... Where does it end? I feel bad about this. I'm not sure if I can trust them...

I realise this is a lot to ask someone that doesn't know me in real life but, if you're prepared to share the transaction id or your wallet address they paid into so that I can verify it on blockchain.info, I'd feel much better about dealing with these MTB people.

Sorry to keep going on about this but they've got me quite worried.

Sure....will give you blockchain to check but i asked them rate........my money has not hit exchanges and so not ready yet....

My kind observation...from your issue with them is....payment method which you used........it caused you problem and also caused them problem....

All i know is....they cannot run away with any money.....i can give them 1million usd and sleep well...yeah and yeah because the way tey talk to me has special spirit.... Telling me they are good before i did...my first orer....

I advice you try them as they told you.......then do your part which they requested....may be leave the rest for them.....am sure they wont fail....at all...

Or you may work out other payment method....with them but anyway keep me update....gonna go have some curfew now.....

They seem to be insisting that I pay for an additional 5 bitcoin and promise that they won't ask me to pay for any extra after this. They also mention that their staff will be having a break at the end of the month due to the high volumes of trade they've been dealing with lately. To be blunt, I don't feel good about this. They also said that if I wanted a refund, it would take 30 days before they could do that "due to their policy". I don't like it.

I put their email address into a search engine (I should try a few more) and got this link but was blocked from seeing it: www.pastebin.com/m8kuES3d but I don't think it's good. Can you check it out? I'll try it again too.

they person they told me got to know them from this forum where their site was recommended.

i am also not seeing the link.they told me about it and told me the site was sued and told me how it happened... so i am not worried on that.

what you need to know is btc-e has many complaints on them you can check in google...but bitcoinstomoneypak does not except that one which is its true should not have been removed.

Hello,

Sorry for your loss have lost money with some sites and also in this forum so since then i became careful. I deal with registered companies and i search them in google to make sure they are clean.

the site you dealt with autoxchanger has lots of complaints online had it been you checked you would never have tried it.

I have 2 companies who are certified and i have been with them for 4 months and then 1 month and they have not failed. one is ecurrencyxchanga.com they have great support and very wonderful with the best btc rates around.

also another is wm-center.es they have good works and good service also.

sorry if my advice was not good for you but I just felt i should help.

Hello Chris,

Thank you for your mail. We are grateful to hear from you swiftly.
Bitcoins is going down again and again and the rate it will rise will
surprise everyone. So what we advice clients is if they have the funds
now let them surely invest in BTC. Are you from NSW in AU? We have had
some few clients from there and only 1 used Western Union others Used
Neteller.

We shall accept your paypal and can we know in how many hrs now your
money will clear? Also we had much work today because a client was
buying 88 coins and another from Argentina buying 94 coins. Orders of
10 btc are many also. Can you think of giving 10 a try? can you do
that if not then leave it at 5 because the 4 has been taken.

We don't really know the time in AU your available on system so our
replies and talking can be fast.

Thanks.

These emails are telling me that that don't reuse wallets and that they no longer have any wallets with a small enough balance to pay me but they do still have some 5 bitcoin wallets. Hello Chris,

That's good news. Honestly the last few Hrs at least 10hrs ago
something has really happened because of bitcoins downfall. We no
longer allow small payments. also regular sales of 1 btc and 2 btc not
allowed at the moment. currently total the bitcoins we brought out to
sell is 322 then we also do have buying orders which we confirm and
balance up but no one is buying so much except many hundreds of orders
to sell. today again currently in line btc needed is 80 just within
7hrs. Even if its $100 or order completion money its not allowed.

Our director made this known. It means accepting low amount will take
much time to reconcile with old amount and also damage our ecurrency
account statement. I am currently working on a memo to seek exception
for you and 1 other client on that who have completion amounts to do.

Really many 10btc orders and 20btc orders are here a lot. This is
because bitcoins rate decreased and if you check our blog you see the
new rate. We are also giving out 10 btc @ $370 currently and 20 btc at
$350 because the rate is going down and in terms of cheap btc we are
in lead.

So it doesn't mean we shall not take your ukash if it works but it
means we have to take the ukash and again work out something
spectacular which the payment will not be short by any amount.

Am trying to seek an exception whereby we take the ukash completion
and complete your order and I will issue a memo on this and I do hope
its being granted so please hold on.

If you have questions please do feel free to ask.

You could just tell them to deduct the cold-storage fee from the BTC amount owed to you. But I'm going to take a wild guess and say they're not going to do that.

This is never a ransom fee. For coins to be safe in cold storage we
need to secure it and its the expensis for it. We are adding it back
to your btc.

This is official and we dont temper with any client fixed amount of

Hello Chris,

There is nothing we hate than people having our email put in public. That email is email to our btc account and email to our over 8 ecurrencies where thousands of funds are and if anything should happen to it, we shall hold you responsible.

You never mentioned where you reported us that paypal held the funds for 10 days. We have never seen such delays in paypal. highest we have seen is 3 to 5 days not this too far.

We have told you the amount to pay and for making our email to be in the open we have hence decided to fine you $100 on this. Your coins is in a separated wallet ready to be sent when the amount we stipulated is paid.

Honestly we should have sorted you out but you said you wont pay the half of $350 which other has paid and gotten also in BTC because that's the fee for cold storage security. We even offered you to pay half but the half fee is no longer existing.

Please pay up we plead with you so this can end and stop lingering. If you pay up and never get anything then you will have the cause to report us anywhere. I am honestly pleading with you.

Humble Regards,
MTB Support.

Oh, look! They hate me!

Your email is already publicly available via your blog.

> You never mentioned where you reported us that paypal held the funds for 10 days.

I am posting all our email cronologically, I'm not finished yet.

You owe me 10 bitcoin. If you want any more money from me, pay me at least 5 bitcoin now.

Also, if you really have my bitcoin in a separate wallet, prove it. Tell me the wallet payment address so that I can verify what you've told me by checking with blockchain.info

I still want your boss's contact information. I want proof that you actually operate a legitimate business. Currently, I have absolutely no proof of this.

If you won't pay me the bitcoin you owe, refund my paypal. Do this and I won't contact you again and I will also delete my posts about you on bitcointalk and apologise on bitcointalk.

Hello Chris,

We love you and we shall never do anything to offend you. here we have high level of security. Our email is in blog yes. anyone who comes to blog has mind to do business. only few comes for evil acts. but putting our email in public forum where many visit every 1 minute and also from many countries is a big risk for us. You can post what your posting but please remove our email like you did yours. If we may ask why didn't you show your mail? this case is the case we take up so much with our lawyers. we don't want to do it with you.

We attached screenshot of 2k paypal which was transaction we did for a client and again also screenshot of $340 paypal funds paid by a client for the fee we are asking you off. Paypal is so hard to exchange and since then e have been sincere to you and also here we attached moneypak trades of 3.8k and 6k usd which we have done. We can only show this because in support am allowed to show this only cant show others.

The blockchain our management is against it. Our BTC wallets always have huge coins and we don't and do not allow it in the open for security reasons. Also here is screenshot showing when your payment was in pending which caused all these problems.

Please we plead with you once this money is paid coins will be released to you from cold storage. Posting such in forum is breaching our privacy agreement and we may never send your coins if we take this up with our legal advisers and see its so bad.
We are ready to send your coins same day when this payment is made.

We have explained many times we don't scam. Check on us you wont see anywhere anyone said we scammed him or her. check btc-e.com and see they have many reports still clients do business we only have one issue which is your issue and yours happened for a reason. Please bear with us and let this be done and all will be glad. you never did anything wrong in doing business with us please be yourself and do this so everyone will be happy doing business. Thanks.

Damn, now they love me again.

Hello Chris,

I personally can swear that we do not want anything funny about your order. In the forum where you posted about us any time you make a post and say someone is scam they will join and echo same thing. its how people behave in public.

Please We have removed the fine only the $350. The client we gave you the screenshot paid $340 he begged us as its the last money he have in his account. We can allow $250 for you because one client overpaid us so we use that to add up and reduce rate for you. Please we really want this to end and we wont hold funds for 3 days but in 24hrs you will get your BTC.

If you send the 250 and we don't send it then know we are scam. We can never be scam and have never scammed anyone.
Please understand.

I have an additional option for you to conclude our trade.

Will you pay the 10 bitcoin you owe me to an escrow provider?  If you will do that, I will pay your fee to the escrow provider who will then forward my payment to you and forward the bitcoin to me. I will pay the escrow provider for their service.

Hello Chris,

You sent us over $3000 without escrow and not at any time did we stop talking to you.
If you can understand that we put your coins in cold paid storage service. If you pay us we pay the company then within 1hr the company will send us btc we contact you and then send to you. We inform you once 5 confirmations occur.

We told you to pay 350 usd which is the fee for everyone who's order delayed without our making. We told you to also pay 250 usd because we have excess funds of one client. We cant use escrow because we are full company and the btc is not with us. Its with a service where it is being safeguarded. If you pay we update the money we have for you and send it to them then they will release within 1hr. We have no spear funds except some spear few 0.85 btc which we use to add to clients funds when they buy btc here.

We plead again and again with you please let this end right now. What we promise you is Maximum 4hrs. Send the funds as Service which you have been sending as before then if after 4hrs you don't get BTC Open dispute with paypal. If your account cannot open dispute then find someone who you can send the paypal to who will send to us and if after 3hrs you dont get btc then he opens case.

Normaly this is supposed to take 24hrs but I have to reduce it to 4hrs for you to know we are more than willing to end this trade. If you take the 4hrs offer then the full 350 usd will be paid. We also told you when sending the btc it will be calculated in btc minus paypal fee and sent back to you.

Please all this issues your thinking we are having is not worth it. Please understand us and this will end in just 4hrs.

Humble Regards,
MTB Support.

The purpose of escrow is to resolve lack of trust. Neither of us risk anything by using escrow. You claim to have 10 bitcoin for me but I don't believe you but you can prove it by sending it to a trusted escrow provider. If I fail to provide your fee payment to the escrow provider, they will return the bitcoin to you.
Are you refusing to use an encrow to resolve our trade?

Hello Chris,

We are a registered company business. If we are using escrow then we are not supposed to open business at all. Escrow is for individuals who have no basis and who you do not know. You cant go to btc-e or bitstamp to buy coins and ask them of escrow. If we keep using escrow for over 234 deals we have done in 3 months it means we wont have done up to 50 and we would have closed this business.

We shall never and will never use escrow. I also told you that your 10 btc is in cold storage and the storage service we pay for it. When you pay us we pay them. Hack can come at anytime when we went on break because many have been trying to hack us so we dont want to risk anything we ols off all our coins and yours and 4 people own was put in cold storage and we pay for it.

Please we pleading with you. Your paying with paypal and we gave you 4hrs. Paypal will advice you hold funds for 2-3 days but we shall only hold for 3hrs then in 4hrs pay the cold storage company and get your coins out. Everything will not exceed 4hrs. Do not mind many people telling you your money is gone this and that, they will end up saying we are scam but we never scammed you at all and we never had any issue with anyone apart from you.

An investigating officer contacted us on your behalf asked us questions and we answered and many people have been sending us mails to click a link and upgrade our account on coinbase and blockchain thinking we use them. This is as a result of how you have posted our email on public forum.

We are not happy with it but we know your not happy also and that's why we never got angry with it. Please ask for our paypal email send the paypal if after 4hrs you don't get it open dispute with paypal.

Humble Regards,
MTB Support.

Hello Chris,

We thank you for your patience while this payment was in Review and
until its released. Its now Completed. The payment was completed
yesterday.

We didnt get back to you because we were not in office as a result of
the break. I had to take out time from my spear time to update you so
you wont be worried at all.

When we are back from break your 10 btc will be transfered to you from
two different wallets.

Also while we are waiting to be back if you wish to make an addition
you surely can.

The long wait is because of paypal checks and balances which is not
our fault nor your fault but the fault of the payment processor which
is paypal.

Thanks again.

Hello Chris,

This is Angel the Accounts Officer of MTB
I have $650 above your order amount in my own personal btc account.
Will you like to pay the 650 then I send your order or you wait in 2weeks and 5 days when we shall be back on break.

We waited and waited for you but paypal was taking much time and it took them 10 days to complete transaction.
I want you complete your order from my own personal wallet and not that of the company.

Let me know if you have 650 usd paypal now so when I have it I complete it or if you can still wait in 2weeks and some days as I stated above your order will hence be completed.

Humble Regards,

Hello Christ,

We shall be back on the 12th of Nov 2014 which is the Next Wednesday. All Old orders which the delay was not caused by us will be required payment of $345 which will be remitted back to the client BTC account when sending BTC.

This is because the old order couldn't be completed before we went on break we have 7 clients this affected. Now we have many many requests and for us to raise up the funds to go back to the Old orders requires a lot and we cant do it alone thats why we fixed a payable and refundable amount of 345 usd. When you send this payment we shall use it to recycle your Coins out of cold storage and pay needed dues then the 345 will be added when sending you coins.

This is for old clients only which orders was never concluded before the break and this is not choice its a must for old clients who have pending order. To send your payment please kindly inform us now so we give you email to send to if your paying by paypal. Do not miss this chance for your order to be completed.

The above message was sent to all clients involved.
If you have any question please do feel free to ask us.

Humble Regards,

Hello Chris,

If you have something against us let us know.

Go back to our blog and please you will see the announcement there.
This charge is not only for you.

Secondly we dont take out anything from reserved client output order.
We dont do such.

We are starting on wednesday and please this shouldnt not bring problem at all.

We do refund and our refund policy is 60days but we refund for orders
which we got not the stock not for this type.

Please see reason with us. We told you that you wont pay anything else
but this is an overdue. We paid some of our staff extra dues to wait
behind and not go on break when we were waiting for your payment to
clear and we are not charging you for it.

Think about this again so this won't be prolonged again.

Humble Regards,
MTB Support.

I couldn't find any such annoucement on their blog. Not that it makes a speck of difference.

received nothing in return. I will not continue to send good money after
bad.

 > We do refund and our refund policy is 60days but we refund for orders which we got not the stock not for this type.

Well, I also have a policy. You will pay me half of the bitcoin you owe
me now and then I will consider paying your administration / ransom fee
for the remaining amount. Until you demonstrate some actual, meaningful
good faith, I have no reason to believe you ever had any intention to
pay me.

I will not listen to any more excuses or justifications for failure to
pay. You owe me and, if you do not pay, it will be a long time before I
tire of telling people what you have done.

Hello Chris,

This is never a ransom fee. For coins to be safe in cold storage we
need to secure it and its the expensis for it. We are adding it back
to your btc.

This is official and we dont temper with any client fixed amount of
money or fixed btc.

If you pay this and we didnt send then you will have something to tell
people. We have someone who have paid 6k, 8k and also 3k and more than
they are paying the fee today as against tomorrow we shall open.

They pleaded for 24hr hold of paypal funds instead of our 72hrs and we
granted them that.

Please understand we talk to you always and will never dent our name
and image because of your business.

Hello Chris,

If we run a scam here we wont be disturbing you for that amount. We told you that we assigned coins with outstanding order to out storage security. And we invested our efforts on new orders which was in cue before we resumed and all pending order which the delay was not caused by us are the people that will pay so we can foot some expenses to bring back their Alt coins and btc out from the cold storage. Cold storage means safe storage paid system so btc wont be lost because for weeks we were not working.

The best we can do is take away $100 from what we told you to pay to know we are serious in making sure your order is sorted and we wont hold the paypal for 72hrs like before its 24hrs.

We cant break out the coins which has been fixed in one wallet and send half. once we send we send once and we forget about the wallet thats how we do here as we deal in volumes and security risks are everywhere.

Please we do not run scam we have only 1 complaint from a man who wanted to take money out of us and nothing else is negative against us.
Please see reason with us. This payment is needed before we open for work because once its Wednesday 9am Usa time we open we may and can hardly give time to refix the documents for your order.

From the payment orders has made we shall have $100 to add to yours and thats why we removed $100 for you.

MTB Support.

response from paypal until after the weekend and it could still be
another day before they respond. I've also got a very unhappy

You suggested that you can refund my last payment but I don't understand

Your girl friend should never stop your business at all. Mark who owns facebook never allowed anyone stop him when he was always busy with the computer not even his girlfriend. If you get the coins and bitcoins increases up to $1,500 for one bitcoins am sure she will be asking to get some money from you.

Dear Chris ###,

Thank you for contacting PayPal.

Upon review, I can confirm that your payment to Whole Sale Termination on 26 September 2014 for USD $1,588.00 is already completed.

Once a payment has been completed, the funds have been credited already to the seller's PayPal account.

To help protect buyers, we sometimes review payments to make sure that they were authorised by the PayPal account holder.

While a payment is being reviewed, we ask the seller not to ship the item.
The payment's status is 'Pending' until our review is complete. The review process usually takes less than 24 hours.
If we find that the payment was authorised, we tell the seller to ship the item. The payment's status changes to 'Complete.'
If we find that the payment was not authorised, we reverse the transaction.

You may advise the recipient to contact PayPal so we can inform them why the funds are not yet available to them.

Should you have further concerns, please let us know.

Thank you for choosing PayPal.

Sincerely,
Jan

Re: scam issue
« Sent to: litecoinbtc on: November 27, 2014, 08:54:08 AM »

Well, I'll do my best to summarise.

In September, I found the link to their site on this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775272.0;all

Initially, they converted some Ukash to EgoPay for me. Their rate was terrible but I still thought they could be trusted after that, they didn't just steal my Ukash.

After a few emails I agreed to buy 2 bitcoin with my paypal. Before the payment cleared, they offered me 2 or 3 more bitcoin at a cheaper price and I agreed to buy 3 more, now a total of 5.

When my 2nd payment cleared, they said they would send me 10 bitcoin but I hadn't agreed to that and didn't want to spend so much money. I also didn't have that much paypal. They made some excuse, I suggested that they just refund my paypal. They said a refund would take 30 days. In that time, I was able to add more funds to my paypal account but it wasn't quite enough to pay for 10 bitcoin. Eventually I managed to pay for a total of 10 bitcoin, roughly $3500.

As my final payment was due to be cleared, they claimed to be going on holiday for a few weeks. When I heard from them again, late October / early November, they said they would need a fee of about $300 or $400 to take my bitcoin out of "cold storage" but that the fee would be refunded somehow. After all that time and all their excuses and stories I finally stopped believing them and refused to pay any more.

When I threatened to post all our email on bitcointalk they didn't seem to care but later it did seem to bother them. They tried to threaten me with charging more fees.

When I've posted all the email, people will really be able to see what kind of "business" it is.

to me
Hello Wayne,

We are so glad you mailed us on this. Now straight to your questions.

Can i know these few things.
1. What can you say about this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/trouble-with-wwwmoneypaktobitcoinblogspotcom-856071
The client with name <> and email <> opened that on us.

2. Which Usa state are you located in and who owns this service.
We are located in Illinois and I Garry Simons own this Service with My Partner Smith.

3. Why are you into scams?
We are never into any scam. We have not scammed anyone. The only issue we have since our service started is
the issue of <>

4. Can this victim have his moneyback or his bitcoins back.
Yes His Bitcoins is ready to be sent to him once he does what we told him.

5. Can you give your own account of what transpired here.
you have within 24hrs to get back to me with answers.

I will be brief on this. <> contacted us for ukash to egopay, it was so small amount which we do not waste time doing. It was his first time we did it and He was happy we saved him because from his mail he never know he can get something for it. We sent him egopay to his account. Then he wanted to buy bitcoins and the time he came was the time bitcoins was going up and down steadily not like now its stable. We tried to make him to use other payment methods like WU, NT, etc he was adamant on paypal. Paypal always warns to hold funds for 2-3days before releasing. Before his payment will clear our offers was off. We do explain things to him but the one that made him go mad by posting scam on us is the time he made last payment for 10 btc completion. We have gone on break then and our break occurs before the end of each year and before that payment the previous he made we told him to add extra funds he did not because of paypal fees or he should pay fee so paypal wont charge us. He said he paid but paypal charged us and we got less and we have explained our rules and policies to him. We dont send less because we keep records and fractions is what we dont want. The payment also lingered. We gave him screenshots every 2 days of paypal review. This review caused these problems. Something which could have taken 3 days or 4 days took 10 business days. When review was over we told him. By the time the review was on we kept waiting but went on break as we didn't wait anymore. We had 3 to 4 deals like his own when we came back we mailed them to update payment of 350 for us to pull the funds from cold storage because before we go on break we invest all our money in coins so we will have enough coins to sell and we got no spare funds available. We told him we need to pay cold storage company where this coins are stored we also showed him screenshot of a client who paid us 340 usd. He could not believe us again and he started saying we scammed him threatening us. we warned him of our privacy policy about posting our email in public he couldn't listen he went ahead to continue posting. we are not against him posting, he should remove our mail so we shall be secured.
We are willing and ready to send his coins but this due is what he will pay. his money was in review and this was all that caused everything.
This is much i can say for now on this issue.

Humble Regards,
MTB Support.

I hope you get your money back.

Looks extremely scammy - you're probably sending money to a shill account which will forward the cash to their real account. If (or when) you get scammed and try to get your money back, PayPal will simply tell you the money cannot be refunded as the other party has it.

Happened to me once.

Anyway, I hope you either get your money or get your Bitcoins. The .blogspot domain already would turn me off.

The paypal money you send is under review by paypal.

Please call them and tell them you sent it by yourself dont tell them
your buying btc because they will close your account rather tell them
its for a web design service so they will conclude the review and
release the funds to us.

Waiting for your response.

Thankyou, bitpop. I know you didn't want to get involved with my escrow request and I think that you and Tomatocage are right, I'm not going to get anything from this person or people.

I don't appreciate having my email and name shared by someone who is either a third or second party to my dealings with the moneypaktobitcoin blog person / people. But, on the other hand, it doesn't really hurt me so I don't care. Let it stay.

Just recently, I've had a number of PMs from litecoinbtc, I responded with a brief rundown of everything because, why not? I'm here to tell my story. His replies are laughable. Scammers clearly have a very low opinion of their victim's intelligence.

None the less, I will continue exposing this utter nonsense.

if they really scamed then money will not be in their account anymore.
If you chargeback their act will be in negative balance but your money will not be returned.
reason, is they might have transferred funds to other act or used it.
so no reason or sense in charging back.
i believe in talking them up for return of your funds.
I am into this now and will make sure they return it else they will face the law.

Pardon me, but you could be the guy himself. You're a new account and stepping in, trying to "contact" them when they would never refund.

Just looks like the criminal coming right back to the crime scene.

Am sorry Pls. i hate when one loosese funds.

it bothered me so much so i decided to help the litte way I can and i can stop it if your not feeling ok with it.
i am new here yes i know but it doesnt make me to new to where i come from and doesnt make me not to be

Very soon after I joined this forum, I had trouble with PedritoCR and another dodgy exchange site mentioned in my first post.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/pedritocr-344863

I tried to chargeback but it made an absolute mess of my "status" with Paypal. However, my account is not limited anymore and I do not want to go through that again. I need to be able to rely on that account for other business, not just bitcoin. Instead, I will inflict as much pain on this person / "business" as I can by exposing them here. When I get to the most recent emails, you'll see what I mean.

not sure if this service is here in this forum but we need to know one thing from you.
1. do not paste all this. it scares readers way. no one have time to sit and read them.
2. summarise all that happened in 3-5 sentence so we can know where to help.
3. you showed the company mail and hide yours. thought you could have hidden the two mails or show your own also so if we have to join and investigate the company we know which email to tell them did business and they have not completed.
4. all payment you send them as i read above are they your funds.
5. i know online security operatives and can help you out if i get more details on this case not long stories.
so you can PM me more details. thank you.

Thanks for your comments but I don't quite understand all of them.

If I summarise, it's just my annecdotal word against this person / people / site. Instead, I want to show a full account of what has happened.

Yes, I have removed my own email address and some personal numbers. If anyone still thinks this is a legitimate business and they feel like making enquiries, the email subject, date and time etc should be enough for that.

Yes, I was trying to buy for myself.

Due to the number of payments and time that has already passed I expect Paypal would probably limit my account if I attempted to chargeback and I don't want to further compromise my already limited ability to acquire bitcoin.

it. I've only paid for 5 bitcoin, if you send 10, I will pay for the 5
extra as soon as I can but that may take until the end of next week due
to slow paypal transactions.

I have a long term outlook on bitcoin, I am buying to keep them and
would like to buy more in the future. It is just a matter of getting
money into my paypal account.

Hello,

Please bear with us. Honestly we want to complete your order but we
are trying to make sure all clients gets coins even if its more than
they requested.

This is because of the rates and changes and circumstances which we
explaint to you in our long email.

We shall send you 5 btc and 5 btc again from two wallets but as we do
we confirm payments before sending out.

We gave you the remaining amount then minus the ukash 114 value.

Had it been you used neteller or western union this would have ended
long ago. But paypal is still alowed as we need to know when the last
payment will come.

next week. But I think this process has already taken too long.

If my order is too small for your business then the only other option is
for my payment to be refunded.

Hello Chris,

Its not that your order is too small and you know we have always given
you reasons why things are this way.

This should have been completed with two bitcoins but your mode of
payment has been delaying and we hold for some time to make sure its
ok.

We told you to call Neteller and ask them how you can send money
instant with your visa card as we always get funds from AU clients in
Neteller.

We refund but its in our refund policy. Refund takes 30 days after
verification of refund request.

We can wait for next week for you to have funds its not a problem but
which ever way we have been very helpful to you and friendly.

Bitcoins fall and drastic changes made us change our rules of
operation but this one we told you will never change at all your 10btc
is there and will be given to you once payment is completed.

I'm glad they responded fairly quickly and explained the problem but I
think their rules are arbitrary and stupid. If I had ancipated needing
$US200 I could have bought a single $AUD300 voucher and I could have
done the converstion and split the resulting code into a $US200 and
smaller code yesterday.

So I have to wait until after 19.09 9:40am UK time to try again, about
13 hours from now.

Humble Regards,
MTB Support.

Hello Chris,

Sorry for the Error in our Very last email to you. We have many Buyers than people who want to sell so that's why the rush is causing huge traffic here.

Now back to your order these are things we need to do and decision taken by our management.

A. We need to know the AU time which you use to be online and have access to email so we know when to contact you in other to get swift reply not having to wait for hours.
B. Anyone who have outstanding payment will have to make an order then do a merger and send the exact and accurate payment so order can be completed at the given order time.
C. Because of the delays all fees from the payments of In-Progress Orders shall be beard by us and client will remove it from the next supposed payment.

Our Suggestion:
What we Suggest is this.
A. Buy the nearest offer we have which is 5 bitcoins. Then add it up to the payments you have sent and its only you and one client we are giving Bitcoins at $350 please let no other client hear of this not even your friends.
B. If your Current Payment method has been a barrier or having so much delays can you discuss with us to find fast payment method in other to make your order get to your wallet quick.
C. If at the end of some time and we never completed your order, you shall hereby not be requested to make any payment again but we shall refund all your sent funds including the fee with it to your preferred refund payment mode.

You paid us $900 + $1160 = $2060.
5 btc + 5 btc = 10 btc x 350 = $3,500.
$3,500 - $2060 = $1,440.

If we get this $1,440 soon in paypal we shall allow only 2 days which is normally paypal clearing rule and we send your btc which will come from two different wallets of 5 btc each to your account making it 10 btc.

If its Neteller, Western Union or Moneygram Payment this will get to you 20minutes after your payment has been confirmed.

NOTICE:
A. We are not trying to make you pay more money rather some delays in clearing and also delays from your part and the downward falling of Bitcoins has joined together to cause this. even if bitcoins falls, this cannot be changed and your order must be completed because you sent the final correct amount and where its not completed we shall have it refunded to you according to our refund Policy.

B. Please try and we know money is hard to get right now but this are circumstances which you know were beyond our control and try to see a way to add up and get your coins, invest it or resell and make your profits.

C. If you do not like this then all your payments should be refunded back to you with our refund policy when you send us an email of refund.

CONCLUSION:
If there is any line or sentence you don't understand please read it over and over again and read the whole mail because its long and we sent to you and other client. when you read it more than 3 times you will understand if not mail us back to ask your questions but the first optional number A which is about the time in AU your always online is so important and we must know it.

Lastly We attached in this email 322 bitcoins in one of our cold storage wallets which we are using for this business and this coins wont last more than 2 days before it's distributed to various wallets and sold off.

FEEDBACK:
Remember if you have any suggestion which will make our service and business grow faster or improve please let us hear it and we shall reward you for your inputs.

Lastly on your waiting ukash, if we leave you, you may try to exchange it somewhere and then fall into the hands of scammers or it will be done at a very high rate for you. I think give it to us since its in progress and we peg it aside your amount and deduct it then you pay the remaining with the choice of payments we highlighted above since the voucher has already been created by ukash.

All we do is to establish good business transaction which at last will always put smiles on the faces of our clients and we know soon you will surely be happy.

Humble Regards,
MTB Support

Based on the Ukash support email, I should be able to create a $US200 Ukash code for you later today at 18:40 in Brisbane. I will also try to be online for as long as I need to be to communicate with you at that time.

I appreciate that you have additional cheap bitcoin to sell but I'm already financially stretched with this 5 bitcoin order. I will be in a better financial position next month. I'm still happy to pay the original $430 / btc price for those 5 bitcoin as that is what we agreed on. I'm not concerned about the current falling price of bitcoin because I believe the price will rise again in the future.

Re: other payment methods. I also have access to prepaid visa / mastercard gift cards. Are these of any use to you? If you can't accept these cards, would you know if a gift card can be accessed via paypal? I'm just trying to think of a faster way that I can get cleared funds into my paypal account.

I'll be online for a little while longer but I have to get back to work soon.

Chris

Hello,

Yes if you add your master or visa card in paypal you can use it to
send money. Also you can add it in neteller and use it to send as
well.

You can add and try to send 1 usd to someone and see it will go.

Thanks.

Should I keep trying to make a single $US200 voucher or can I just give

I'm sorry to hear that. I know it can be difficult when a business is
growing too fast, old business practice don't work so well anymore and
no one has time to figure out a better way.

I don't have a credit card so I have to deposit money to my paypal
account and wait for it to clear before I can use it. I am currently
waiting for my last deposit to clear which should be within the next 24
hours.

Bearing in mind that I've already paid for 2 bitcoin, I will be able to
afford either of your 4 or 5 bitcoin offers. So please just set aside
one of your available wallets for me and let me know how much more I
need to pay, plus the paypal fee.

I think I've figured out what time of day that we're both available so,
at that time, I'll let you know when I can proceed and I will aim to get
my next paypal payment to you within your timeframe, although, I would
appreciate it if you could allow me more than 50 minutes to respond.
Maybe it would help you to know that I am doing this as an individual
and that nobody else operates my paypal account.

Thanks.

Hello Chris,

5 x 4 = 2,000.
$2,000 - 860 = $1,140.
Paypal fees can be around $55 to $60. the other one they charged $39.99.

So i think $1,200 can do this.
What do you think?

had a tough day.

I have a little more Ukash but it's not such a high amount that you
prefer and I'll also need to convert it to US dollars for you. btw I
already tried to put it into my Neteller account but there are
restrictions re: specific merchants I can spend those Neteller funds to.
I'm really starting to dislike Ukash.

I realise you have to pay a big fee to accept Ukash from customers. If I
create a new $US100 Ukash code, will that be enough to cover the balance
I owe you?

Hello,

We dont load 100 usd anymore. It spoils our account statement. Minimum
is 200 usd for ukash. The remaining money we shall add up as btc when
sending your coins.

If you have Neteller funds you can send the exact amount plus their little fee.

Neteller is so easy dont know why its a problem to you but ukash we
load minimum 200 usd value and this is because our account is
business account and loading small amounts of voucher class is against
the rules of our account.

Let us know the option you choose. Remember we are always here to help.

I'm having trouble with Ukash. I successfully converted a $AUD200 to $US

Then I bought another voucher thinking I could convert it, combine it
with the first one and then make a $US200 code for you but I got an
error message when I tried to convert it.  So I went to a different
vendor to get another voucher but it has the same problem. I've sent a
support message to ukash but it will take days for them to reply.

I want to get our transaction finalised but I'm out of options. All I
can do is wait for my next bank-to-paypal deposit to clear.

Hello,

We hope your having a nice night sleep. There is a Minor problem. When
i gave you the due date and time for your order I never checked to
know if the BTC was available because here we are 8 staff company and
I and other person is incharge of support and I am the one incharge of
your order while we have staff incharge of Sending payments in the
accounts department.

We verify screenshot with 24hrs time duration but Just now i got memo
the offer is no more and I have waited to know if any offer of such
will land but it never came. There is nothing wrong with your payment
as your payment came in well and the hold period is progressing well.

The challenge we have is that since we started this offer there has
been so many rush and I am trying to see what best we can do for you.

The nearest offer we have is 4 btc@ $420 = $1680.
Then 5 btc@ $400 = $2000.

We have 17 different wallets where we have 5 btc's and 2 different
wallet where we have 4 btc's as we separate our coin offers in wallets
so when sending we send all in wallet to client and its also part of
security measure. We also have 10 and 20 btc's at special offers for
bulk buyers in separate wallets as well.

You may be asking how we are selling so cheap. this happens once a
year it happened last year sometimes before end of year btc reduces
before climbing up and last year it reduced to 130 usd before going up
to 1,100 usd by end of year last year.

Now some clients in brazil, thailand and Usa thinks btc will go down
and they are selling heavily so we bought many of them over 5k coins
at very cheap rate and we are giving them as offers to our esteemed
customers.

We shall like if you can think of taking the 5 BTC offer it will
benefit you very well you can resell at the current market price and
make profits or leave it in your wallet until December this year
because our graph work shows it will hit $1,000 usd by then.

Now we have many and more than 85 paypal orders in cue thats why we
never wanted you to send us paypal so cue will not be much and had it
been you added money to Neteller.com with your credit card and sent
you could have gotten your 2 coins long ago. Neteller does not have
only ukash option we can guide you on how to use it they have credit
card option.

For this 4 btc and 5btc offer we can accept payment completion for you
with paypal and still deliver on the Friday date but the best is using

Ukash to EgoPay

I recently bought a Ukash voucher for $100 Australian, I registered on the Ukash website and I know how to change the currency but I'm still
not sure how to send Ukash. I already have an egopay account and I use this email address to access it.

I want to use the full amount of the voucher. If the amount is enough for you to accept a transaction, please tell me what currency you prefer and tell me how to send my Ukash to you.

My paypal account balance has already had funds added to it from my bank account.

I've heard of neteller but only because I read the bitcointalk forum. To the best of my knowledge, it's not widely used in Australia but I'll look into it now.

I created a Neteller account but I would probably have to fund via Ukash as I don't have a credit card.

I don't mind having to wait a few days after sending paypal so long as I'm dealing with people I can trust. I have money ready to spend in my paypal account now.

If you still have the bitcoin offer you mentioned (2 bitcoin for $860) I'd like to go ahead with that. Otherwise, Let me know how much bitcoin you can sell me for $US500 and let me know your paypal email address.

More to follow.

I would never trust anyone claiming to have that much BTC but can't afford a domain and a server / web hosting.

Bitcoins In Stock: 74.

There are also a bunch of other red flags. Why would you deal with a website like this? Clearly a scam.

Then you have them asking for more money... that's when you know it's a scam.

Has anyone heard of or dealt with this site? www.moneypaktobitcoin.blogspot.com

I'm involved in an extremely protracted attempt to purchase bitcoin from them, they have my money, I've received nothing and I don't think I can trust them now that they're again asking for more money.

Edit 22nd December 2014
This scam site has been cycling through a number of alternate blogspot addresses. Currently one of them is http://payypalexchange.blogspot.com/

They all look fairly similar though.
