Free'd up a million N95 masks to send to Israel...by teaching American soldiers how to make masks by folding their tee-shirts in a certain way.

Got a source on that?

Mostly it has been scrubbed as is the common case with today's internet when something is derogatory toward Israel and/or Zionism.  There are some remnants kicking around.  e.g.:

  https://english.alaraby.co.uk/english/news/2020/4/8/did-the-pentagon-give-israel-1-million-face-masks

You can't be serious -- you're giving me a link to a website called ' The New Arab' here's a quote regarding them:

In January 2015, Fadaat launched Al Araby TV Network as a counterweight to Al Jazeera, which is viewed by some to hold a pro-Muslim Brotherhood bias.[3]

I don't think it really makes a lot of sense in regards to credibility of your source to send a clearly biased source regarding Israel. Don't you think that this would come up from another source, or be brought to light during an oversight committee hearing if this was substantiated?

New Arab doesn't seem that bad: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-new-arab/

The name sounds weird because Americans tend to use 'Arab' as derogatory, but it's not much different than something like 'The New Englishman".  But yeah, it doesn't make sense to go to an Arab run media company to figure out what's going on between America and Israel.

It feels like a conundrum trying to figure out what's really going on when it comes to Israel or Muslims in the middle east.  The tensions have been so high for so long it's basically impossible to not come off as having a bias.  Actually now that I think of it, it's like that in America too.  Although I recently got into PBS News hour, it's definitely the least bias Media outlet that I've found.  They manage to make things sound boring which is kind of nice and it's all on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWw1SESkzSk  /ramble

North Korea needs to keep producing these bombs to ensure that regime change isn't forced upon them. It's a very helpful thing to have when negotiations are starting.....
It's time for some more basketball diplomacy!

Where is Dennis Rodman?

I truly never understood why Dennis Rodman of all people was someone who was leading the charge in changing policy with NK. I understand that Kim Jong Un is a fan of American Basketball, and the Bulls as a team overall -- but he can't be the only person who is able to charm him up.

I think one of the issues with NK (in American foreign policy leaders minds) is that their isn't a 'democracy' leader to take over -- It'll just be another member of the Un family or someone in the military. Same rule, didn't leader.

Kim was threatening to nuke us and Trump punked him right out..
Hear any nuclear threats from nk lately??

According to a report released last month by the Army, after no deal was made in Hanaoi NK returned to producing nuclear weapons and now have 20-60 nuclear bombs with the ability to produce 6 per year, increased their stock pile of chemical weapons to 2,500-5,000 tons and are likely researching biological weapons.  This would be much bigger news if it weren't for everything else going on in the world.

Ultimately the result of the two US/DPRK summits was a temporary pause in NKs production of nuclear weapons, a handful of Chinese prisoners being released and some, but not all, of the remains of US Soldiers that were killed during the Korean War being sent to America.

Well, I didn't even know this and this is pretty upsetting. Never saw this on WSJ, NYTIMES, etc. May just be because I was out of the loop in regards to some news for awhile. Makes sense to miss a story like this in our 24/7 breaking news world.

Things are going to continue to get worse with NK because there is an added element of China supporting them during negotiations, tariffs and such. China is a hostile nation to the US, and should be treated as such. We shouldn't just let them do whatever they want b/c they are an integral part of our economy. Imagine thinking that with the Soviet Union?

He just broke his own personal record for longest marriage.

LOL. Didn't even know this happened. Was there any news about this? I feel like some news companies had to come out and write an article about that. I'd say it's pretty sad if companies did do this, that's a PRETTY BIG LOL.

But to be 100% honest there are some true accomplishments of the Trump admin that people can look at:

1. Shifting the narrative on China so that Americans know that they're a horrible nation that has been taking advantage of the US for such a long time. China has been able to, for decades under both R and D administrations, steal intellectual property from American companies and kill these companies by undercutting them. Trump has single handedly changed the thought of the American voter, and has forced US politicians to change their stance on the matter as well. China will be forever damaged by this and they'll be on the defensive for a large amount of time. Hopefully Trump is able to work out a deal with China to fight this problem back.

2. Pulling out of the IRAN Deal - I'd say this was great. I don't agree with staring a war with Iran, but I do agree with getting out of a stupid deal that would've rewarded Iran for waiting 10 years to start up their nuclear program (pretty sure it was 10 or so years)

3. Shifted the composition of the Federal courts for decades to come to have a conservative shift. As well as his appointments to the SC.

Trump took pretty good care of isis too didn’t he? Dropped a MOAB on em iirc right?

Tensions with Iran and the Decision to pull out of Syria helped ISIS a lot.  They are not as strong as they were after we took out Baghdadi in October, but they've been becoming more and more of a threat since March.

Like North Korea, this would be getting much more attention if it weren't for the current state things.

If you root for the lakers does that make you part of their team?

Lakers? I would never...

But I don't know what "deep state" is so excuse my ignorance. I thought it's more along the lines of "if you're on the side of communists, you're a communist".

Most people are ignorant and don’t understand the big picture..
For example, they could be for the enactment I’d “hate speech” laws and for more social security/socialism, and don’t realize that they are actually furthering the communist agenda of removing liberty and individualism..

@suchmoon I don’t know if this counts as an achievement or no but he became the first US sitting president to step into North Korea, and even though it was only for a little while yet I consider this to be an historic achievement.

That's true although I'd call it "falling for Kim's photo-op trap" since it didn't achieve anything other than giving Kim some material for propaganda.

Fights China by making them make his ugly ties.

@suchmoon I don’t know if this counts as an achievement or no but he became the first US sitting president to step into North Korea, and even though it was only for a little while yet I consider this to be an historic achievement. Also another achievement I can cite is his bold decision to end India’s preferential trade status, and save millions of US dollars that US was loosing each year due to the preferential trade status that India had enjoyed since so many years.

I feel like if you are with Biden and the Dems you are probably on the side of the whole deep state thing..

Wait, TwitchySeal is deep state? Are we all in danger here?
You are naive if you think that Democrats are not paying people to spread their propaganda and to argue their talking points on social media.

Keep that in mind.

PrimeNumber7 is right, money is being spent on political campaigns to increase the chances of Democrat victories, including Biden.

People give them money, and they spend that money on biased advertisements that make Biden look good and Trump look bad.

You are very naive if you think otherwise suchmoon.  Very naive indeed.

Trump accomplished speaking out about the benefits of hydroxychloroquine in the face a bunch of lying media jokers, and lying top medical leaders. HCQ is one of the best drugs for anybody to use for Covid, and Trum accomplished standing up for HCQ in the face of all the opposition.

Cool

Lowest unemployment ratings in history.

How do you calculate unemployment ratings?  Can only find info on rates, and they definitely aren't that.
Correctly defining "history" is the first step.

Are you assuming there was history before Trump?
