What is the scandal in his twitter comments,do you call that a scandal or just foolish feeds from the president. He just keeps up with his impulsive nature and keeps on coming up with foolish comments and i wonder he might regret all of this at a later time, for a leader like him he has to think twice before writing down something,he is just proving that his upstairs is vacant and anyone could become a president.
Hehe, I think that's what some of the apologists are failing to see. The event in itself was just a tweet, everyone needs to man the fuck up, but diplomacy was shattered, that what the OP was trying to communicate in not so much English,LOL. Personally myself and a lot of Americans could give a flying fuck about this, but what we aren't aware of is how much this pissed London off, because they aren't our news cycle. The POTUS does not make a disparaging comment about another leader during an active crisis with international coverage. Imagine if Bush had been criticized by the French president for reading a book to a class while the first towers were struck.
The mayor said that pretty plainly too, his statement wasn't ambiguous one bit. Don't be alarmed at the increased police presence. It takes a special one like 45 to misread the tone, respond at the wrong time, and then double down on said misinterpretation instead of apologizing.
This is covfefe, essentially. And I actually mean that seriously, not as a joke. It's the same attitude that gave us covfefe, at least. The reluctance to admit a mistake, a complete lack of diplomacy. Political correctness might be a toss up nowadays, but diplomacy should never be.
Also, shit like this simply looks bad. That's shit people's mothers should have taught them, there is no substitute for home training LOL.
“When you have a special relationship it is no different from when you have got a close mate. You stand with them in times of adversity but you call them out when they are wrong. There are many things about which Donald Trump is wrong.”
Trump’s tirade also appeared to act as a rebuke to the acting US ambassador to Britain, Lewis Lukens, who had put out a thread of tweets, culminating in a retweet of Khan’s statement.
“I commend the strong leadership of the mayor of London as he leads the city forward after this heinous attack,” the acting ambassador said.
In more normal times, such a message of solidarity with a host mayor in an allied state would be unremarkable, but it unleashed a torrent of online abuse from Trump’s supporters, accusing Lukens of disloyalty. Some focused on the fact that the acting ambassador was offering support for a foreign official who is Muslim, rather than echoing the president. Take heed. This 'America First ' shit is going to have us at 'America Going It's Own Way'. The world is watching us hard right now, folks.
Edit: had to fix, I fucked the formatting up bigly on this one
