What education is higher the lower the birth rate. This is probably due to the desire of parents to ensure a good future for their children.

Extremely low and unsustainable birth rates, such as those in Poland, Italy, South Korea.etc are not going to help, and it is not a sign of prosperity. Also, the birth rate in North Korea is lower than that in the United States.

Not only a question of education.
It's a question of hope.
Who would like to have children when you see where the world is heading?  Sad

The technology is getting more and more advanced, and our lives are being made easier. So the hope is definitely there, unless you are living in Somalia or North Korea. My life is definitely better now, when compared to 10 years ago.

I wonder what gave these countries a ban on abortion? I'll tell you anything. This idiocy is engaged in Islamic and Catholic countries. But fortunately for women in these countries always have neighbors who will gladly help to terminate the pregnancy.

I believe that abortion rights are beneficial to the demographic health of a country. Take the case of Catholic nations such as Poland and Italy, where performing abortions are very difficult. The fertility rate there is around 1.3 children per woman. On the other hand, in countries such as Belarus and Russia (where abortion is perfectly legal), the fertility rate is around 1.8 children per woman.
Allowed an abortion or not is irrelevant to fertility. If you need to abort a pole could go to any neighboring country and do it. The number of children depends on the education and mentality. What education is higher the lower the birth rate. This is probably due to the desire of parents to ensure a good future for their children.

I see your point.

As it being the first thing it "sends a message."

I would hazard a guess that Trump really isn't sensitive to subtle subtlety messaging like that.

Just my guess though.

Here, corrected that for you Smiley

Makes no difference.  The very point is that no "subtle message" was actually sent.

There are several policies and plans that I do not agree with Donald Trump on. The main two issues that would have a major impact in my opinion would be the environment and health care.

He claims he has an excellent plan to replace the ACA with something better. I've looked at the plans some republicans proposed one being Rand Paul's plan most of it is just to return to the older system where HSA would have no limits and wouldn't require a high deductible to have it. They keep talking about how it will be great, but they never get into how it will protect the 20 million some people who are at risk of losing it. He talks about being able to buy insurance across state lines. That still doesn't deal with the pre existing condition for so many sick people who are unable to afford it. Plus, he promised not to cut social security or medicaid and medicare. He said it multiple times, and the media claims Trump is lying. I don't think he is lying, it's just his party in the congress that are trying to do it. Doesn't mean Trump will agree to it.

Second is the environment. I get it there are a lot of regulations which I personally know people who are impacted by the regulations which are absurd. It hasn't really been that effective at dealing with lead in water and other means. It needs a major reform and a lot of people probably need to be fired and replaced with more intelligent people who will work harder. That's not what he is doing though. It isn't the end if EPA is eliminated. If you are fortunate enough to live in California or a few other states they already have plans to reduce carbon emissions to protecting the water. It doesn't always have to be up to the federal government. But, true, not all states will do that.

I can't do much about it. I can just hope he changes his mind on the issues.

You can tell him yourself...vote here: https://action.trump2016.com/trump-mms-survey/

Most of his decisions I don't like. I will like lowered taxes for Corporations and individuals. I do like his stance on Israel / Palestine. But the guy has to be off the charts on the low end of the IQ scale. He blatantly lies about the most basic facts - lied today about his Electoral Votes lead. Hahah. What a joke this guy is.

Former Intelligence Officer: Trump Will Die in Jail

Schindler's columns at The Observer tend to be slick rehashes of already public information about Russia, Trump, and Trump aides. In the columns, he doesn't exactly connect the dots but writes as if he has.

Today, he has taken things to new levels. It is not clear if he has sources in the intelligence community feeding him intel or imagined sources fueled by too much brewski.

So smear him as anti-women's rights.  Hey, it's worked against republicans in the past.

Problem is, Trump isn't Republican and the old tactics aren't going to work against him.

it's early days and he has a lot of people around him who would like to restrict women's rights. the foreign abortion thing is no big deal really, other presidents have restricted it before and no one said much, but let's see how things pan out before we declare him feminist of the century.

Difference is it's like THE FIRST THING HE'S DONE

Yeah it's not a really big deal, but that was one of his first actions!
The first actions of a president are the first engagement of the whole nation towards the long term project of the head of the state!
That's not really the kind of big project I'd like to follow...

Lol, sounds reasonable enough.

Although to be 'feminist of the century,' he'd have to be a clown.

So far, I have complaints only on his anti-abortion policy. This will create unwanted babies, burdening the state exchequer in the future (in the form of increased welfare payments). Other than that, he is doing pretty good. I wish him all the best!

The only thing that he's done relating to anti-abortion at the moment was from his executive action making sure that federal funds aren't going to fund abortions in foreign / other countries. I don't really see a need for tax payer funds to be going to abortion / abortion education in other countries in the least, that money should be going to people who really deserve it the US citizens and veterans who are in the nation we love.

Though the Republican platform is anti-abortion so I suppose I can see the mix up within the two.

It's a purposeful mix up, a mis information tactic by the opposition.  They're flailing trying to find things that will stick as negatives to the Trump operation.

This comes on the heels of Obama and Hitlery being told what to do by George Soros, Obama and Hitlery flagrantly disregarding the rule of law and the constitution in many ways, and cowing and intimidating the entire country.

So your argument is "they did the same"?
Well that's a bit... Limited...
But true. He's maybe not worst than Obama or Hillary. He's just not better that's for sure.
He's a politician. He doesn't care for his country and his people.

I think that what he is doing is putting on a show.
Trump turned politics into a show. It seems to me that he does not understand the seriousness of the situation. In politics, any careless word can cause war, and he a few weeks offended half the world.
