so even with the fast rise over the past week you all believe it will probably not rise significantly unless there is basically advertisement for it?
No, ya idjit.  The world been thru tons a damn political shakeups an' shakeouts an' shakeins.  Bitcoin like the honey badger.   It don' caire.  Dollas ta mothafukkin' donuts the price don' react mo' than 2% o' so.  We ain't goin' t'$1000 tommorah nor is we goin' ta $100.  Jist shut up an' watch the television.

The long awaited day is much close to all of us. The inauguration speech itself defines what's gonna happen. Positive as well negative reviews have been bursting out continuously. I believe he supports bitcoin or digitization but a huge economic outburst is a promised one.

I'm confused with this doubt. Please give me an advance? Thank you.

See , there is a possibility of prices going up if Trump mentions
The words bitcoin, crypto currency or any thing related to that.
No matter it would be in a positive way or not.
But his words has the power to change the environment of bitcoin.

I definitely think those are all reasonable possibilities.  I guess I don't mean directly involved with the inauguration itself, but more that will it have significant gains from the fall of so many national currencies.

I do know that it's predicted to raise very significantly, but probably is exaggerated.  Either way, bitcoin itself is being accepted by larger and larger companies, and even directly in Philippines.  I think its expected to be used in amazon directly, and even best buy, and now being used to spend directly to Amazon with "Amazon Direct".  Do you think if all these corporations accepted it so soon that a significant rise would be inevitable?

If Trump, in his inauguration speech, mentions "bitcoin", "cryptocurreny" or "blockchian" or any other bitcoin related word, whether it is in favor of bitcoin or against then there can be a movement in the bitcoin price otherwise I don't expect the price to be affected by trump's inauguration.
Trump talking directly about bitcoin will never happen during inauguration speech. Instead it will be usual mambo jumbo stuff:

*I would be the best president ever. So amazing. The absolute best. I'm a terrific person, ask anybody.
And if I become the president, I will be so good, so much better than anyone thought possible, it would blow your mind. Believe me.* - that is something Trump will say.

People are talking about potential BTC gain during Trump's presidency not because he will support BTC directly, but he might disrupt fiat markets - which will make people seek alternatives, like BTC.

Is bitcoin expected to rise immediately on the 20th?

no, because nothing magical is going to happen on that day.
even if we assume that Trump is going to be a good force for bitcoin's future, there still has to be time and at least a year to see the positiveness of his possible actions towards bitcoin.
and also even if it is a rise based on hype, it should happen today (so maybe this rise was because of that). every time there is such a rise it happens before the events.

If bitcoin will really rise then it means bitcoin traders are sheep blindly following trends.
I read some opinions that Trump's inauguration might cause panic among dollar investors.
As they might want to turn their heads towards 'safe haven' of cryptocurrency, but seriously maybe wait for Trump to actually do something first?

At first I thought Bitcoin was going to shoot up if trump came. But I think the bubble has busted for all of us expecting him to have a impact on the price. Whatever he wanted to do he has openly said it, and there's not a mention of Bitcoin so I don't think trump is going to effect the Bitcoin on his swearing day. But let's see what happens. I am positive the price shall rise with or without trump impact.

If crazy things happen, like assassination attempts, terror attacks, or too surprising measures, then the price will spike for a while.

Also might be a excuse for a short term pump

Hodl Bitcoin until the day won't hurt

I doubt that it will have a big affect either way. We don't really know how the administration will handle bitcoin. I guess one good thing for Bitcoin is that there is likely to be less regulation in general.

Only if China make a symbolic gesture of the new trade war and devalue the Yuan significantly. Then we will have fireworks.

I doubt if the "day" of  inauguration will have any significant effect on the prices of bitcoins but his actions afterwards might cause a stir somehow.

I think that fact that Trump was elected as the new president in the end of last year are already make an effect on bitcoin. So I don't expect something big for his approval as president in the form of his inauguration.

I'd rather say it might go down...
Trump might become a problem.
Simply because Trump is against China. He wants nothing linked to China.
And BTC is linked to China...

Only if he speaks about bitcoin on its first speaking. All know that he will be the president, it will not be any surprise and i don't see bitcoin increasing for that.
