What is the difference between First round and Second round:
This time, when the Tournament will start, users will have 12 hours to play. It means you can choose any comfortable time between 11:00 am to 11:00 pm UTC, go to Tournament page, press start and play. However, the time is still limited, only 5 minutes to play Dice. At the end of tournament, we will see who is gained more points and will share prize pool Smiley

I have to say that is an interesting unique tournament and it is obviously challenging because participants need to set a great strategy as well as great luck to play dice in 5 minutes only to win as much as possible.
Do you mind to share the leaderboard of the first tournament? Especially how much FUN coin they won during tournament that brought them to win the prizepool?
Suggestion, since users have 12 hours for the tournament but they have 5 minutes only to play, how if you offer a rebuy in option? Like in poker game, so lets say I lose my first FUN coin then I can enroll again by paying the enroll fee.

this will open the floodgates of players re-buying and trying to hit a high multiplier
not really fair to other players , the one with a larger bank would have higher chances to win the prize pool
although from the business point of view it is a way better model
seeing that trustdice offers a pretty solid prize and they do not get any % of the bank or commission , this is pure marketing to entertain their gamblers
maybe running an "orthodox" wagering contest is a better idea

Hey! You've asked good question.
Let me send you the leaderboard of the first Dice Tournament.

If you have account in Trustdice, feel free to tell me it, I think we can set you free entry ticket so you test your luck and ability to play Dice game.

Answering your question: no, users can't rebuy, it could be not fair to other players. 1 entry - 100,000 FUN points. No more. Only 5 minutes.

a very interesting idea , had something similar in mind for quite some time
the main problems with such a tournament: not enough contestants to participate , hence a tiny prize pool
sites like trust dice can't boast a huge player base , so lets see how does it go
I'd participate but I'm too lazy to register and deposit to pay for a ticket  Grin
but for those who are playing there this should be a fun experience , wonder how much does the entry ticket cost?

Entry fee was 10k sat and there were 27 enrolled players with 0.0327btc as the prizepool. Seems that the 0.03btc came from site and the 0.0027 from the entry fee. I think the prizepool was fair enough, player need to spend 10k sat and have a chance to win a share the prizepool. I believe there would be hundred of registered players if trustdice did a better marketing/advertisement about this tournament.

This is true and thank you for evaluating our Dice Tournament.
If you have ideas for better promotion, I would be so thankful for any advice!

By they way, Dice Tournament round 2 is launched:

we took into consideration past mistakes and we did improve the tournament! Smiley
Everyone is welcome to test Dice Tournament, it's fun Smiley

0.03 btc as the prize pool by the site? this can't be in any shape or form a sustainable business model
if there are 27 contestants and they pay 10k each , they only contribute 270k to the pool
and the site sponsors 0.03 btc , while having zero profit , if I understood correctly
5 minute timer doesn't allow too many players to participate and the announcement was made a day before the contest
is this some sort of a marketing ? because I don't understand the concept of such a tournament - what does it bring to the site apart from entertaining its players and giving away 0.03 btc
I think this contest can be done by them by announcing only a day since the contest began. Moreover, the admin has announced that the tournament will start in a few hours, meaning that each participant must register first since the tournament only runs for 5 minutes. This is just how people can actively see threads/websites and see good opportunities to avoid being missed.

5 minutes tournament? Is it for real?
I think it will be better if the tournament run for at least an hour, so there are more times for participants to compete with others.
Also it does not really worth for the site to burn 0.03btc just for 5 minutes tournament as it does not bring any profit for the site as participants are wagering with fake money.
Would be more reasonable if the prizepool is collected from the entry fee only (if players are wagering with fake money) but if players are wagering with real money then it would worth for the site to put additional money into the prizepool.

27 players is not too bad really,,, you just have to be patient I guess with these sort of things,,, they take time to build up. Maybe make it a lot more engagement and less traditional wager, that is something to try out. When you do not have volume but you have engagement, people are motivated to share the tournament,,, but not if the prize pool becomes bigger but their chances reduce, you know what I mean?

Just checked about this tournament, read the rules of it and I can say that it is a unique tournament because all players start with the same bankroll (fun tokens). I think this kind of tournament should be done regularly with some different amount of entry fee. I see the duration "Nov 11 14:00-14:05", so it is just a quick 5 minutes tournament?
Yes, I agree with you that it is nice they standardized for the betting fee. In this way there's no one person feeling that they start at a disadvantage. Its also much more fun that way as I feel that the pressure is less and I enjoy it more

Just in case, it's our twitter and we're having a lot of Bitcoin and ETH challenges there: https://twitter.com/Trust_Dice
I just following your twitter account and i saw one active challenge and it called blackjack challenge which is will be over tomorrow and looks easy to joining because only post a screenshot but still less people to joining however i have a question regarding challenge requirements of participant whether if the participant less than 10 people the challenge will cancelled or not

If it's less than 10 people, then these 10 people will share minimum reward pool. So everyone at the end will receive rewards anyway for the participation.

Based in those table. Then following minimum prize "pool" are 0.00036 BTC in case if there has 6 participant... Every participant will get rewards only; 0.00006BTC

Exactly, that's why there is an information about minimum prize pool with no information of required number of participant for the minimum prize pool. If the challenge is cancelled because of less than 10 participants then there is no need to give an information about the minimum prizepool because it will be useless information and could be something misleading.
The challenge is indeed very easy to complete with no minimum bet requirement as well, so it worth to try for those who love challenge.

Saw the post, went to the site to kill some time
Standard dice site, good graphics, nice interface, worked for me.
Played for a while, won, took my winnings with no issues.
Really can't ask for more.

Thank you Dave! Smiley Such a cool support. We work a lot to improve the game.
