Which country you belong to? I am from India and I prefer to buy it from localbitcoins as it is the most trusted place and even I know many traders personally so there is no chance of getting scammed.

You can also search for any bitcoin ATM around you area. You never know maybe there is one next door!

Besides, you can drop by any cafe (or a store) that accepts bitcoin and talk to the owner. Most likely the owner will be willing to exchange cash to bitcoin with you.

Its better to buy them from a reputed site instead of buying from a local person, as there are many scammers around who won't send you bitcoins in return after they have received the payment.

Hey everyone. Sooo much info on this forum. I was wondering what would be the easiest way to turn 100USD cash money into bitcoins if i don't have a bank account? Could I use a site like circle.com with say, a visa prepaid debit card? Im intimidated but determined right now to breqk into the world of btc and would really appreciate a point in the right direction. Thanks for reading!

If you're living in ths US, then yes, simply go with Circle, that's 100% safe. That may even be the saffest Bitcoin startup out there.

Hmm. I suggest searching your neighborhood or local area to find wheither anyone are using bitcoin. And then you should directly meet them, persuade them to sell you some bitcoin. It is not very hard to find someone willing to sell you bitcoin.

When I bought bitcoin for the first time was on localbitcoins and I didn't use any debit card or any other method, I simply deposited cash to trader's bank account and upon receipt he transferred bitcoin to my wallet address.
