Beşiktaş beat Antalyaspor in final and won Turkish Cup and do the double this season. This is their 10th Turkish Cup, the last one was from ten years before, back in 2011. It was a very competitive tournament even though some big teams got eliminated early. Antalyaspor lost second time in finals, they never win the cup. We can clearly say that Beşiktaş well deserved this trophy. Thanks to all participants, it's time to lock this thread.
The time has come. Turkish Cup final will be played tomorrow in İzmir. Beşiktaş was already in İzmir because of Göztepe match, they didn't come back to İstanbul, rather they stayed in İzmir. Beşiktaş want to finish the season with both cups. Antalyaspor also want to get the cup because they played finals before but never win it. If they win this will be the first trophy for Antalyaspor.
Ali Palabıyık will be the referee. Some people expected Fırat Aydınus because he retires but his last game was also Beşiktaş game, maybe that's why they didn't pick him again.

Antalyaspor made Beşiktaş having hard times in Super League game but cup finals are different atmospheres. There will be one winner, so you can't play for 1 point like you do in league games. This game will have a different story. If both teams have all players available we can watch a great match. I see Beşiktaş as natural favorite but Antalyaspor will definitely have something in their pocket.

Antalyaspor could be one of them also if they play very dedicatedly. But I still see their chance as much lower than Besiktas. I think Besiktas will manage to beat them and win the cup. But it is very likely that we could see a competitive game.

Besiktas newly managed to defeat Basaksehir 3-2 away in a huge match. They have a big psychological predominance over Basaksehir. Besiktas have been doing awesome in the league and they are fully focused on winning the title too. I think they will also be very eager to win the Turkish Cup also. As the match is also gonna be played in Vodafone Park, I think Basaksehir have a lower chance to advance to the final.

After Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe got knocked out in quarter finals Beşiktaş today showed that they are the only favorite in this tournament. Despite their lack of scoring they managed to get the win with penalty kicks. Konyaspor players were not concentrated much or they were too tired, they were very bad in penalty kicks. 3 of them missed and Beşiktaş qualified to semi final.
Besiktas had a performance that was double the performance Konyaspor had. Even though we saw a game like that, Konyaspor somehow managed to keep the score at 1-1. Besiktas were the much better side in extra time but they couldn't break the tie again. Besiktas finally eliminated them in the penalty kicks but the players must be so tired now. Besiktas have 4 days until their league game against Genclerbirligi.

After Basaksehir got lucky against Fenerbahce, they have advanced to the semi final. They are going to have the semi final draw against Konyaspor or Besiktas. Today, Galatasaray have their quarter final game against Alanyaspor this evening. I expect a tough game. Alanyaspor have got 7 points away from the first three in the league. I think they will focus on this cup really much. Galatasaray have a hard job to do here but I still think they will eliminate Alanyaspor in Turk Telekom Stadium.

Basaksehir have advanced to the semi finals but they absolutely didn't deserve to win this game. If Fenerbahce wouldn't get a red card, I think they would have eliminated Basaksehir for sure. They managed to score even though they were playing as one man less. Fenerbahce couldn't use this game for improving their morale and they have a difficult game against Karagumruk away on this Saturday.

Fenerbahce-Basaksehir game is going on really interestingly. Fenerbahce are playing with 10 players. The 90 minutes of the game ended 1-1 with the goals of J. Fernandes (42th minute) and E. Valencia (72nd minute). In the extra time, Gulbrandsen scored (96th minute) and Basaksehir are leading 2-1. The first half of extra time ended. The second half of it has just started. So, I believe a team like Fenerbahce who is trying hard to win the league and the cup this year and do a double to finally make their supports happy again after so many years of no championship in the league (got the cup though) will have zero problem beating Basaksehir today. Of course it is going to be not so entertaining to watch but I am 100% sure that fenerbahce will play a lot better, plus it is a bit more chance for Ozil to get better conditioning as well.

I agree. Maybe Basaksehir came to this level in the Turkish Cup but they didn't come across with any hard opponent. They don't stand a chance against Fenerbahce in this draw. If we had Basaksehir which had its awesome performance in the last season, things would change but there is no such thing now. I expect Ozil to have a nice performance in this match.

In my opinion, the teams that will pass the tour will be Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, Başakşehir and Sivasspor, respectively. Sivas sports achieves significant success in cup matches every year. Frankly, I do not trust Fenerbahçe. Galatasaray is the team of cups anyway.
Quarter-final qualifiers will start in February. I think the matches were good. I think the favorite teams will push it to the finals. My favorite is Fenerbahçe Cup, but time will tell what will happen.

There is no clear favorite as this is only quarter finals. We can say that big 4 have an advantage but league fixture is so tight, teams might do rotation more than expected. We will see how this will bring results.
