Look at the top 10 this week, there were 2 winners in top 10, even top 12, up to galatasaray, only teams that won their game was konya and alanyaspor, rest of the top 12, which is 10 teams, either got a loss or a tie and that shows how terrible the league has been and there are absolutely no clear indication of which team is better and deserves to be higher.

Turkish Central Referee Committee (MHK) made a statement today and stated that the following referees will not take part in league matches this season.

Cüneyt Çakır, Ali Palabıyık, Aldulkadir Bitigen, Fırat Aydınus, Bahattin Şimşek, Burak Şeker, Suat Arslanboğa, Hüseyin Göçek, Mert Güzenge, Tugay Kaan Numanoğlu, Alper Ulusoy, Halis Özkahya

The referees who are on the list are the best referees of the league. I don't understand why they made such a decision. Its a very bad decision for the league.

Aha thanks for warning me, I am bit old for new system so I still feel like Europa League was for 3rd and 4th but yeah its all different now. I also agree with you about Başakşehir not feeling secure in that position, its obvious pressure must be very high when you have both Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş under you, but in very close points. Its still undecided for these ranks and I am sure competition will be tough.

Basaksehir still needs some win because they are not too much ahead in the points count. If they want to be safe and keep their distance from the later teams they will have to win some matches back to back. otherwise, they can easily lose their spot.

Besiktas have played very badly this season, unlike previous seasons which were superior, not only Besiktas, even Fenerbahce are not in third place in the standings this season.

Currently the first and second positions are filled by teams that were under Besiktas and Fenerbahce in previous seasons, it looks like Trabzonspor is almost certain to become the Turkish league champions this season.

Even they missed chance but still they can achieve this in next few matches because their form is good, and they have some very good players with good quality which is good for them now competition is very tough for having remaining top spots which is not easy for any team with most of them are now performing better.

To be fair, Galatasaray is at a place they should be, and that is more than enough for such a horrible season. They do not have a chance to relegate, which they looked like they might at some point. And they never really had a chance to go to Europe or anything to begin with.

Combine those things together, where can you end? At best 6th or 7th at the top, which always looked terribly difficult for them after being so bad, so maybe like 10th or so, and at the bottom, be above relegation zone, so 16th or better. They are currently 12th, so they are exactly at the range that they should end the league. If they keep going like this, it will be fine. They need to figure out how to finish this year, and focus what they can do better for next season.

Besiktas - Basaksehir match was really interesting today. Basaksehir got ahead two times but Besiktas equalized the score every time. And we got a 2-2 draw at the end of the match. The first half was not under the dominance of any team here. But the second half was completely one-sided. Besiktas fully dominated that half and Basaksehir didn't have any goal attempt too. But Basaksehir still managed to resist their opponent and got one point here. Besiktas must be sad for letting them go with a result like this.
