Galatasaray needs to start the Trabzonspor match with high concentration. I expected GS to start the new season well as they kept their championship squad and made good transfers. But in the first match they played a surprising game against Kayserispor a team with no pretensions in the league this season. We can call these mistakes that can happen in the first weeks.

The key to a good atmosphere in the team, good camaraderie and not to be affected by off field factors is serial wins and to lead the league at the top. Trabzonspor are far from their former strength but their squad is not that bad and their coach is someone who knows the game well. Playing good football is a must in this match to win. I think Galatasaray will play an effective game in this match as they struggled to raise the tempo in the first match.

Beşiktaş plays the Necip system. It's a quite unique system. With this system, which started with necip, you can back up all positions with a single player. I do agree that UCL is a much more important situation right now than the league, they could end up losing as many games as possible and that's still ok for the time being. They can get to the group stages of UCL first, and then they could end up with a better league run as well. This is why I believe that they are trying to make sure that it goes smooth until the group stage, and after that league is the more important one.

I mean there is a big chance they will not be going any further than group stages anyway, so it means that there is nothing we can do to make them worth it, so we shouldn't really be doing anything that would be indicative of giving any importance away from the league games and could just win those.

Galatasaray needs time this season because the players are not ready yet. We need to pass this period with minimum mistakes. We have no difficult games except Trabzonspor and Molde. If we get through these games with minimum losses, I think we can gain time. Also, I watched Trabzonspor's game in the league last week. They took advantage of being at home and won the game with a goal they scored at the beginning of the game when they put Antalyaspor under pressure. I don't think they played a good game apart from this detail. I think they are not ready yet either, so I think we will win tomorrow's match.

The second week of the Turkish Super League will start tonight with Antalyaspor vs Konyaspor and İstanbulspor vs Kayserispor. I think Antalyaspor vs Konyaspor will be a slightly better match than the other match. Antalyaspor lost to Trabzonspor last week. New signings like Holltman and Assombalonga have not yet adapted to the team. After the departure of Haji Wright, they have become a more ineffective team in offense. Galatasaray had a clear objective to move further in the Champions League and for this I am sure they sacrificed the first game of the league and I agree with that.They based on the players they have can also recover as the season is quite long and they have some of the best players there.

Besiktash yesterday showed signs of nervousness despite they winning the game after being down in the first half,Besiktash in fact has clearly stated that their main objective this year is the Turkish Superlig and whatever happens in Europe we won't care much.

I feel like it's not really that much of a big deal to build an old squad unless you are planning on for the future. Sure it's better to have a 23 year old that could be a little worse, than to get a 37 year old for your future. But if your aim is to win, then it doesn't matter how old a player is, the end result is a win and that's the most important one.

I get that there are some people who consider this as a trouble, because older players may end up getting bigger fatigue issues and injury issues, but you can't judge it beforehand, if it happens and they fail to play then you can say that it was a wrong move, but to say that it was a wrong move even before it happens makes no sense. Lets see how both teams fair all season long.

I actually thought he was one of the better youngsters in Süper Lig honestly. Most of young players in our league were heavily exeggarated by fans but Yusuf seemed like he can play professional football in my opinion. I actually liked his loan transfer. He wouldn't be able to find chance to play in Galatasaray this season as there are many midfielders. Instead of spending his days at bench he will find a chance to play in Switzerland.
