Galatasaray had already started the match well in the very early minutes with the goal he scored from a corner kick against Samsunspor, with Nelsson's goal. Then, in the progressive attack, five minutes later, Barış Alper Yılmaz scored Galatasaray's second goal. Two goals scored in the 10th minute meant that everything was fine for Galatasaray.

Okan Buruk intended to finish the match 2-0 without taking too much risk, and that's what happened. After the two goals, Sivasspor was already disbanded and they dropped out of the match as the goals were scored early.

Galatasaray scored early again, this wouldn't be a difficult match for them. Nelsson made a quick start to the match, and Icardi returned with an assist. Samsunspor is a team that falls apart when they concede a goal, they cannot turn a match around easily. Many bettors expect the match to go over 2.5 goals. Now Samsunspor needs to respond. They make a deficit in defense, and Galatasaray will score the second goal. The point loss that Fenerbahçe was waiting for seems like a dead end today. Galatasaray will be the leader until tomorrow evening.

Samsunspor fans have filled the stadium and they can make a very loud noise. We saw from the first minute that they would give great support to the team.
Let's see what kind of match we will watch.
Galatasaray needs to win this match without any difficulty, and if they can continue without losing points in this match, they will be a little more relaxed on their way to the championship. I think there is a possibility that Fenerbahçe will lose points this week

Serge Aurier is a very good player for me, and also he can do a lot in the main plan of play of the Galatasaray, he is really fasta nd strong, and with Galatasaray dominating the 90% of the games they play he can make a very good runs in the right band without so much effort and made good crosses to Icardi for example, and in defense he can return really fast thanks to his speed.
The signing of Serge Aurier will definitely increase Galatasaray's chances of winning the Turkish league this season because of his very rich football experience as a defender. He's very good in making good runs when his team is attacking as well as tracking back as at when due when his team is defending. Galatasaray won the Turkish Super Lig last season but since the start of the season, they've faced tight rivalry from Fenerbahce in the race for who wins the league title at the end of the season but with the arrival of Serge Aurier, winning the league title at the end of the season I think have become easier.

Hatayspor continues to move rapidly away from the relegation zone. Today, they defeated Fatih Karagümrük Team with a score of 3-1 on their home field and earned 3 points. With this result, the 0-1 win against Adana Demirspor last week became more meaningful.
Coach Volkan Demirel, in his statement after the Adana Demirspor match, said, "Be careful when criticizing Hatayspor. Sometimes we cannot even find water in the club."
The effects of the earthquake are still continuing, so he felt the need to make such a statement.
Hatayspor, which played good football in the previous seasons and left its mark on the league, has had ups and downs since the beginning of this year. He collected 7 points with 1 draw and 2 wins in the last 3 matches, making his points 28 and rising to the 12th place with more matches.
I find Volkan Demirel and Hatayspor successful. I hope they will be permanent in the Trendyol Super League.

Samsunspor will host Galatasaray at home.I expect it to be a tough match for Galatasaray because Samsunspor has been on a rising form in the last few weeks and they drew 1-1 away to Fenerbahce, costing Fenerbahce 2 points.I can say that Samsunspor has a good chance of getting a draw from this match, considering that it is likely to do the same to Galatasaray.Samsunspor has no problems in scoring goals in matches and they have scored in almost all of their last matches and there is a high chance that they will score goals against Galatasaray at home.
After the promotion in Super League in early weeks Samsunspor were not good but in last few weeks they achieve good level of performance and quality which is amazing as in last five home games they have 13 points with no lost which is surely big thread for the Galatasaray because they need full three points which are not easy for them in this game in game against Fenerbahçe Samsunspor able to steal one point even they were playing at the Fenerbahçe home which is big achievement for them.

Now we have few hours left in this game, hopefully Galatasaray which is facing some problems try to have better things which will keep them in touch for the title race with Fenerbahçe which is level on points with them and ahead just because of points difference.

Tonight Galatasaray will play an important match away to Samsunspor. Samsunspor have not lost their last 4 matches in the league. They got 2 wins and 2 draws in the last 4 matches. They have been playing well in the last weeks. I liked their performance in the match against Fenerbahçe. On the other hand, Galatasaray beat Gaziantep last week with goals in the last 15 minutes. We have been playing with a slightly lower tempo in recent weeks. It won't be an easy game for Galatasaray for sure. But Galatasaray will undoubtedly be the favorite in this match.

By the looks of it Galatasaray ended up getting Serge Aurier, he used to be an amazing player, very talented physically, he was very fast and quick, and as we all know an agile back is always a good thing to have.

However, he is now 30+ years old, and he hasn't been all that great for a while, he didn't get minutes even at Notthingham Forrest, for a team that is trying to play at Europa, and also trying to win the league, a bench player from Notthingham Forrest doesn't really sound like a smart move, certainly not smart if you consider his age as well because they can't make much out of him for the future. This type of "big name" transfers never really helped any team, you should always look for someone who deserves it, not someone who had a good career.

There is an update by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu below which was done a short time ago.  Smiley

According to the news Erden Timur has talked to the player and asked about his conditions. However I have some things to refrain from about this probable transfer.  Sad

• Serge Aurier was a really good right-back in the past. But now I doubt about his contributions.
• He is quite injury-prone too. Especially a hamstring injury he got in the 2018/2019 season had a bad impact on his career.

Let's see if he proves me wrong in case this transfer happens for Galatasaray.  Smiley

Samsunspor vs Galatasaray game tonight.
Samsunspor is a team that has performed well in recent weeks. It will be a tough game for Galatasaray tonight.
There is a possibility that they may lose points, I hope they don't, but it is a dangerous game.

The talk around the rumor mill is that we (Galatasaray) could actually get Zeki Celik and Rıdvan Yılmaz. Rıdvan has a great potential and could do very well in the team, I would expect a lot from him and considering he is still young, he could be a great transfer for a future fee as well. However, Zeki Celik doesn't look that amazing, of course its better to have a right back then not have any, so it would be nice to have him on the team, but I would not expect as much from him as I would from Rıdvan Yılmaz.

If we could make these two transfers, then I would say the team would be fine, the number eight position seems to be getting a lot better. We would be getting the best out of everyone else as well. I think we are already doing fine and getting new players would be risky, but not getting it is also quite risky as well, so easing these new transfers into playing would be the best thing we could do. I hope we would get them, it would benefit us a lot, plus would give us national player advantage as well.
January transfer window came and most teams used the time to gather up new intensity to their squad, switches occured and definitely either positive or negative changes in the team's performance would follow suit. The Turkish side have seen an essentiality of a switch up, it may seem advantageous to them although it was all ahead of the final half of the season as well as European cup contests too.

These players have done their best for the team no doubt but there are decisions a team makes for their own selves, although some may not necessarily be favourable to the players but it just has to be made. This is an avenue for the team to make better signings that'd improve the squad strength. They're already a good side judging from their UCL performance and their domestic league's performance too but the management wants better and so it's a welcome if they decide to let go off of some men to bring in new ones. Their decision should be respected and accepted.

Tomorrow we will have 3 games, the first game will be Hatayspor against Fatih Karagumruk SK, this is a game that involves two teams that are close to each other in the table, and are close to the relegation zone, so both teams will fight to get out. of this game with victory. The performance of both teams in the last 5 games is very similar, even in that these two teams have in common. Hatayspor is seen as the favorite by bookmakers, a very small favoritism, in the last 5 games they have had 1 win, 1 loss and 3 draws. and a performance that shows that in the last 5 games they have been strong in defense by not allowing themselves to suffer many defeats, however the fact that they have not been able to win the games may indicate that they have not had a good attack, my argument is also based on the fact that they has not managed to score more than 1 goal in many games. On the other hand, Fatih Karagumruk SK in the last 5 games had 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. It's a team that has managed to score a lot of goals in some games, so in my opinion the team with the best defense will win.

Sivasspor will play against MKE Ankaragucu, it is also a game in which both teams are close in the table. Sivasspor in the last 5 games only managed to win in just 1 game, had 2 defeats and 2 victories. comes to this game with this bad performance, while Ankaragucu in the last 5 games managed to get 2 draws, 2 wins and 1 defeat. It is important to say that Ankaragucu came from a sequence of 4 games without losing and only lost in their last game against Fenerbahce, in a game in which Ankaragucu was winning. In my opinion, Ankaragucu would win this game

Samsunspor will play against Galatasaray, this will be an interesting game because in the last 5 games Samsunspor had only one defeat, and they come to this game with a sequence of 4 games without losing, they have been a team that has good defense and when they played against Fenerbahce managed to get a draw, so it is possible that in tomorrow's game against the powerful Galatasaray they can get at least a draw. And talking about Galatasaray, they come from a sequence of 5 games without losing and Galatasaray definitely heads into this game with the only objective being to emerge victorious, because a defeat or draw in this game could put Galatasaray 3 points behind Fenerbahce if win in their game and Galatasaray doesn't want that to happen

The January transfer window is set to close tonight and whatsoever pending moves will be left till summer. Truth is, we expected a few transfer news buh we didn't really get to see them actualize. But still the teams have their reasons and they're only sure now that they'd have to manage what they have in their squad already.

A lot of teams in dire situations just have to find a way to balance the adverse effect, the inability to make transfer would cause. Roma are a team looking to get back on ground and make their name reign once again in the Serie A, and for that to happen they'll need to restructure their team by getting players that could help them do better with their current manager. Well I don't think there would be much recruitments they'll make in this window, we'll get to see more new incomings by summer.

The summer transfer window is never that promising. I think sometimes teams can give it a shot and hope for a lucky transfer because a player couldn't perform well in a certain team whereas they are highly talented. Once they sign a new contract with another team, suddenly they start thriving. But it isn't that likely most of the time as it's mostly players who don't have a lot of practice and have been sitting on the bench most of the time.

But I think in past seasons there has still been more transfer activity in the market than this time. This period was particularly calm. Some transfers into the Turkish Super League were quite normal usually.

Zeki Çelik will definitely be an unnecessary transfer. I'm sure Barış Alper plays better than him. Baris Alper can play anywhere, every team needs such a player.
I think Zeki Çelik is an unnecessary player, he is overrated.

Well those 2 names are better than nothing considering we are in winter transfer period. Winter transfers are always less functional than summer because noone likes to sell their better players at least before the end of season. I actually thought Galatasaray wouldn't sell Boey (but 30 million euros was probably very convincing for board). I think its good to have Turkish defenders because of future foreigner player limitations that will eventually be enforced.

Angelino to Roma part doesn't make sense to me neither, he played here and we didn't really like him a lot. He is still a very good player when we are talking about pure talent, but his pace is no longer what it used to be and that causes him to be not as good. When there is a counter attack, he is much slower than everyone else, so it left our left side wide open for the other sides right wing to attack. We faced this trouble many times and decided not to play with him anymore. Currently, Berkan Kutlu, a midfielder that we called back from loan, is playing at the left back (or at least he did one game) and on the right back we have Kaan Ayhan. It is obvious that we can't keep going like this, but I would rather keep going like this then get Serge Aurier. That dude is 30+ years old already and will not make us any money. The management should have learned their lesson about getting old players, when you get a young one, you spend less, and you may get lucky and make a lot of money, whereas when you get old, it just sticks to your hand and you can't get rid of them. Find some young player, preferably cheap, and sell them.

Pendikspor made good signings in the winter transfer window. They finished the first half of the season in the relegation zone, but with the transfers they made, they can manage to stay in this league at the end of the season. They transferred Badou N'diaye and Mame Thiam to the midfield. At the beginning of the season they had signed Halil Akbunar and Midtsjö. They transferred Umut Nayir to the striker in the winter transfer window. They made good transfers and when we look at these transfers, we can say that they want to stay in the league.
