How about a portfolio competition?

Using today’s price to establish opening position cost basis, the following portfolio has a minimum target of $100,000 (if everything goes wrong) and a maximum (still conservative) target of $1,000,000. (Explaining the reasons why goes beyond the scope of this friendly competition.)

Litecoin (LTC) – 50%
BitShares (BTS) – 10%
STEEM (STEEM) – 10%
Syscoin (SYS) – 10%
Nxt (NXT) – 10%
PIVX (PIVX) – 5%
NEM (XEM) – 5%

We’ll see how it does. Wish me luck!

Turning that into a 1 million is possible for only those with high rank in Crypto. You can't give someone 10k USD and expect him to turn it to a million overnight. It takes time to achieve that. Gradually you move step by step till you achieve your goal.

Meaning to say, you have the capability to sustain you financial needs because you already earned a lot and still earning in this industry. But for us that cannot step up in higher rank will just earn cent. So, million dollars is away from us. Unless, if I have luck.

If you plan a long-term strategy, you should constantly monitor the news feeds of these projects. Since the market is still very young, the strategy can change in a very short period of time. If I were you, I would look at all the news in the cryptocurrency world every 2-3 months to be able to react to the situation in time. I would also recommend that you keep 50% of your funds in Fiat currency. So you can in case of unforeseen circumstances painlessly rebuild the investment portfolio.

looking at the current situation, I think it will be very difficult. it takes a fairly good skill to make $ 10000 to 1 million in a short time, or long. if you really plan to do that, you better build a pretty good strategy.

This year is about to end so no use to getting the portfolio list and just go for the top coins of the year because the rest would not have great and potential projects on their backs. Besides, go for the traditional investment as well because that is where you can make money by investing.

The more you spread your investment, the more possible it is to replicate the investments and the return from it. Moreover, if you are optimistic about investing, chose Bitcoin for long term. This is the reason why people like Tim Draper made billions in cryptocurrency.

Turn $10k in to $ 1 million is possible, we need return 100 times to make it, and last years in 2017 many altcoin was going up to 100 times. Some of them is XVG, ECA, NANO etc. And for now we still have hope to make it because currently all altcoin dumped hard and with low cap, some altcoin possible to give return up to 100 times in next 1 or 2 years.

Although it is possible, but it is a very difficult road to get that amount of profits but it will be worth it once a trader achieved that kind of goal in his/her crypto trading activities. If we started to invest this amount money in 2015 in 2 years is more easy to make it. But for this year is look like very hard because since january crypto on bearish . But we still possible to make it when any good news in crypto that make market cap of crypto will going up to multitrilliun dolar. We have to wait other 45 days , when Bitcoin ETF approved is more probability market cap of crypto will going up to more than $1 trilliun in just a few month.
