This is OLD news. No need to keep spreading FUD about crypto. You are probably here because you have invested some. Help increase the value of OUR crypto and stop spreading FUD. This doesn't matter and does not affect development at all. Be part of the solution not the problem.

You have no other places where to earn activity and make rank? Smiley

It's from this week and possible will affect lots of people in crypto: starting with ICO managers and ending with bounty hunters.

Twitter, Google and facebook all banned ads . They are being sued by blockchain association for anti competitve practise and its a legit case. the news says they have formed a cartel which has impacted the market. Recent news of twitter banning ads is such a classic strategy by Jack Dorsey who is also the owner of Square (crypto startup like coinbase). So now robinhood and coinbase both wont be able to advertise on twitter.

Yeah, it is not good news. One of the main sources of information for people like Twitter and Facebook forbidden ICO advertisement that will decrease popularity of criptocurrency

This is certainly not great news.  If everyone continues to promote ICOs elsewhere, then I believe that everything will be alright.

Stay strong, hold your coins and wait it out.

We do not need to be worried of this announcements, because we are not the promoter of ICOs projects. As bounty hunter, we just need to like and share the ICOs Ads on the twitter so we are not affected much of this restriction. This new policy from twitter aims to make and grow safety of investor from any frauds investment Ads. All are for good purpose.

Just more "stealth" ICO paid tips from crypto people incoming. This is such a small amount of what's wrong with crypto on twitter. They can't even halt fake eth giveaways.

This ban can bring some kind of upside to other forms of advertising, such as bounties, since ads are being banned across platforms

I saw today on Twitter some Twitter ads from WAVES and another blockchain projects. Is this prohibition only for new ICOs or for the whole cryptoworld?

To avoid scams and theft they want to ban all crypto ads. The ban will be active in 30 days or so..
The ban will be activated on tuesday and this has been accounced by twitter company. It looks like we will see crypto related advertisement disappear from the twitter in this week. At least the personal promotion just like bounty still available to be another alternative to the cryptocurrency to promote the crypto currency project.

Twitter confirms restrictions for cryptocurrency ICOs and cryptocurrency token sales: 'the change legally comes into effect today, and will be rolled out over the next 30 days'

Quote
Twitter official:
We are committed to ensuring the safety of the Twitter community. As such, we have added a new policy for Twitter Ads relating to cryptocurrency. Under this new policy, the advertisement of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and token sales will be prohibited globally. We will continue to iterate and improve upon this policy as the industry evolves.

Each of the major players did the same lately (fb, google); this means lower visibility for ICOs and crypto in general, but also (maybe) less scamming of new people.

Should we worry about this in the long run?  Huh

It changes nothing
There are twitter bounties which tweet and retweet
Only adverts are stopped
Which even saves few bucks for ico promoters

Less to worry about

Google would have an ico too
And twitter wil follow suit
Lets observe and do the right things

RU community is already discussing this news. There are first persons who banned from twitter for distributing ICO twits. This is not a joke and it seems like the beginning of the end of the era of bounty campaigns. I think by the summer facebook, twitter and google(youtube) will completely ban any advertising information about ICO.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
For me there will be an effect on the market, but it will be short lived. Right now the market is still red and I believed that this news has something to do with the price in the last couple of days.

But if you are going to look longer term, its much better they did this as to weed out fake or scam ICO. unfortunately, those legit will have a hard time getting out their project to potential investors.

Well for me yes this could affect ICOs because the 3 major sites google and facebook already ban this kind of ads in their platform now and also, this announcement affect bitcoin price bitcoin price lost 2 percent due to this announcement made by twitter. Now the cryptocurrency ads is banned on all platforms, the only way to promote the ICO is through twitter campaign and bounty hunters so, i think a reward increase is much appreciated lol.

It is better than nothing, when facebook did ban cryptocurrency ads did the bounty hunters and normal users of facebook affected? no,when google announced that they are going to ban cryptocurrenct ads did they affect the bloggers and websites related to crypto? No. because they are only restricting ICOs from using their platforms to promote these ICOs but it doesnt mean that they will going to ban people if they are promoting these ICOs,twitter too has restcited those ads but not those people who are going to tweet and re-tweet crypto-related ICOs or topics doesnt make sense it will only affect those ICOs who are using these platforms to promote their projects! GOOD EFFECT will be twitter ,facebook and blog writting campaigns will have more stakes i presume because of these restrictions???

Not going to affect our lives ,it will only give more benefits to the twitter bounty campaigns participants and they should have get more stakes because these ICOs wont be promoted if these bounty hunters arent going to tweet and re-tweet their posts,so it means the ICO's promotions would be all in the hunters hands.
I hope so, I thought that there will be a lot of change in the ico because they can't promote their project through the banner or advertisement in the social media just like twitter and facebook. It looks like bounty participants will become another important thing to promote the ico. The regulation of twitter to ban all related crypto  advertisement will be applied in this week.
We will see what will be happening after that already implemented. The majority of developers are searching for alternative ways right now.

Stable coin to make charity free for everyone
Well if thats the case, only those good projects and legit ones would be able to get their hands into millions of funds, unverified people and shitty projects wont be able to make into a shitcoin level thats for sure, enough coins are existing lets just be contented about how the things works and im sure we can adjust to this new regulations,

Ofc it was about ICO promoters and ICOs in the first place. The bounty community is good, but it's not the only channel to target. People with other main areas of interest won't see the community posts and retweets - as an ICO promoter you need to get to them somehow.

Less pairs of eyes means in the end less investments in the ICO, and as a secondary cause - possible unsuccessful ICO => no bounties, no happy investors, no product.
