A very good job for the dev , the price may not sit in 2k sat again  Cheesy

2K sat would be absolute steal. Very often I wonder how realy good projects/coins are kept under radar. And in the same time sh*tcoins gets huge volume and wonderful price gains.

Man that is so true what you are saying about Sh!tcoins with good volumes and worth 100000's sats i dont understand it ether Huh Huh

Guys don't be greedy, darkcoin/dash also do not jump to current price over night. So far i'm really happy to see tx market cap is over 100K. I think next huge jump will be around 15th march.

And in case of sh!tcoin, not everything is as it looks like. A lot of shitcoins got pumped by individual groups, also some of those coins are manipulated by devs, by creating fake volumes. Right price for TX will come..IN proper TIME Smiley

15th march next huge jump ? Why ? Is something I do not?

they are allk waiting for newallet? Wink

Sorry if i've been distant lately I had 10 teeth removed 1 week ago, and last night was the first i finally was able to sleep through the night successfully. i've been doing small amounts of work here and there, but over the next few days i'll be finishing the arbitrage functions.

I have had a few reports of the newest wallet not getting any connections. We do have 6 DNS nodes hardcoded into the wallet already. Most of these problems seem to occur on windows. And should be fixed within the next version.

WTH happened to your teeth??? Are you a panda now? Have it influenced your coding abilities?  Roll Eyes
Wishing you a speedy recovery, man!!!  Grin

Bad genetics and choices as a child led me to having my teeth removed earlier than most. It will only affect my abilities until i'm out of pain. Anyone who's had teeth pain before can tell that it's one of the worst things you can ever experience. and i agree with them on that one lol. Rest assured i am starting to feel a bit better now. and hopefully am able to get a bit more work done than last week.

Jeez, you must have been eaten a lot of sugar! Which is good for the brains, though  Wink
Anyways, all the best and looking forward to a new wallet!  Grin

Omg, sounds very serious! Wish you getting better and better, whatever plans you have regarding health improvements!

Thanks for the support, I'm not TOO fmailiar with the HIRE project. But I can tell you we have lots to come yet. I may not be the most intelligent developer on the block. But I can say that I'm learning more and more everyday that I code. And that's all that counts Wink A few communities have already noticed this. And I was able to pickup a bit of contract work in the process. Which definitely helps push our project along.

Lol, my sarcasm about HIRE was probably not in right place. It is an absolute scam scheme. I hope those devs will burn in hell. Because of such scams in crypto a great projects like TX (after take over), are left far behind in the line to get traders attention and huge trading volume and price gains.

When I set up a new wallet I copy an existing, up to date data directory and delete
the wallet.dat. Start the wallet and a new wallet.dat is created. A solution would
be to put up a sync'ed data directory for downloading. The data directory
is not operating system dependent i.e can be used on Window or Linux (I have tried
 it and it works).

I just checked the Transfer Coin download from this link http://cryptochainer.com/dir/  and that is what is included with the wallet.dat already removed.

If anyone wants a bootstrap file just rename blk0001.dat from the zip to bootstrap.dat and use it that way

Well most people have no trouble syncing, the community is just here to help those that do

Using a bootstrap file is very similar to just copying the data directory. It is the more correct way to do things I believe. (not sure if it really makes a difference)

How to use the bootstrap when syncing a wallet for the first time and restoring or moving a wallet

Install wallet, so it creates the data directory (windows example C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Transfer)

Close the wallet, copy the bootstrap file to the data directory (if restoring or moving a wallet, replace the wallet.dat with your backup now aswell)

Reopen the wallet and it will automatically start using the bootstrap file to sync without using the network.

I AM
actually in regards to a bootstrap, might be worth checking out this service Wigit http://cryptochainer.com/dir/

I can't vouch for it personally I just know another coin that uses it without drama

:edit: well maybe we are already on there *slaps forehead

thoth goto link for bootstrap if you prefer

 Undecided fucks me hey,

Should be a simple Click, Download, Run, I had to download bootstrap for other wallet the other day was easy enough to open zip file in the coins wallet, but this is different again, As old mate said above.

should be super simple.  Embarrassed

This wallet setup must be transparent to attract new investors and it is not rocket science to
make it seamless. I think there is code called 'DNS seeding' that negates addnode for
the wallet. An alternative would be to provide an addnode node list for a few permanent
masternode addresses.

Is a bootstrap file needed to get the wallet syncing? had it running awhile but keep flickering between 1 and no connections, no blocks downloaded yet.

Did you try this conf file?

I am having a problem getting a solid connection i get 1 active connection for a few seconds and
then right back to zero i am wondering if my internet provider is blocking the connection Huh

Here is the transfer.conf that is linked in the OP it has nodes included. Use that and then restart the wallet.

https://mega.nz/#!jdEF2bwA!e8_gVDIWnSe35HxH6rhfFIzYqQtvOLgoVi7EGnyjQ1g

I did that as well but still won't connect.

Try using this port=9999 instead of 17170

Also add the below line above the nodes list.

maxorphanblocks=10000

it seems to be working now i have two connections thanks bro Smiley

try above, i dont think anyone uploads a bootstrap yet
