When I'm stressed, I listen to music that gets rid of my stress source. e.g; If I'm stressed because of my boss's pressure, I prefer more encouraging and energizing music. notes that make me feel strong!!

My own best music I listened whenever I'm stressed or in distress is country music/blues. And it helps me to fight and put me out of stress everytime

The music can put you in a trance state of mind that allows me to relax and focus.

I have created a playlist as per my mood type like sad/happy etc. So when I am feeling low or sad mostly it is a smoothing musical instruments being played or some motivational songs are on the playlist which just boost you up and get back to your normal mode. As longer you are sad lesser you will be productive in that time.

Mine is mosly calm/gentle Religious songs, but I have a song I watched on YouTube recently that always makes me abit energetic... I don't know if it's religious...and I don't really understand what they say as it's sang in foreign language ... I guess it's from Burundi... I like it alot.
The ladies in the video remind of ladies I saw in a movie(Coming to America") I watched while growing up.

It depends for me, when I just want to relax than classical music is very good to me. But if I still need to work and be productive than I need a little bit more pep in the music. The best for me the is Jazz music. I love saxophones, for me they are really energetic.

When I get stressed I don't try to hear music which is going to relax me.
I select hip-hop/rap/trap something that will turn the stress into motivation and it will make me work harder and more efficient as it will make me concentrate more on my goals by hearing the lyrics.

Everytime I want to relax even I dont understand the language as long as the melody is good, I listen to it.

Like korean songs especially Yiruma's piano collection, its relaxing and suits for people who like mellow music.

Just listen to Enya. My favorite songs are "Wild child" and "Boadicea", but there are many other good songs.
I also often listen to the sounds of nature (rain, the sound of the forest, thunderstorm, etc.)
