I couldn’t agree more because what’s the point of shouting and expressing your emotions if the government is the one who doesn’t want to listen. Inflation has affected every sector of our country but for them they want to let us feel we are a great impact for change where in fact we are just speck of dust for them. If you really want to survive, go have a business that targets a human’s necessities and by hardwork and perseverance everything will pay off your work. Budgeting has the most impact in our standards of spending because it controls or regulate something we need and we don’t need. It gives balance for what is the most priority.
we are all prepared for the depression unless we achieve the financial stability
so better be braced up for the tough time than crying over the spilled milk. The current economic situation is going to hit everyone and it is going to hit very hard.

The world situation seems to be getting worse, with many things happening that we don't expect, we who have a mind should think critically and
try to face it with the best ability that each of us has, And don't be a person who gives up easily. Our job is actually only need to have a large
amount of money savings, and everyone must maximize their respective skills to make as much money as possible. After that we can invest
in some assets that do have a bright future. Then our lifestyle also needs to be changed, in the current economic situation, we really have to start
learning to live frugally, by buying something we only need. This means that we must be able to distinguish between wants and needs.
I believe people who work hard, never give up and manage their finances well can survive even in the worst situations.
Although the inflation and the current economic situation is very stressful for everyone - but there are some people who are living in developed country and get compensation from the government - but then on the other are people who do not get any support and have to deal with all the stress and trouble themselves.
So most people are prepared for greater depression and there is no support coming soon.

In our country, we don't get any support from the government so we don't have any choice but to grind hard and deal with the stress of this inflation crisis. If we will not work and hustle hard, we will not survive. Lots of people are suffering because of the increasing inflation rate here but everyone should find ways to continue living. Yes, self-discipline and a proper lifestyle that would fit our salaries are necessary. Saving is also important nowadays because for sure, this inflation crisis will still continue to rise.

Ready not ready, must be ready. That's what I do in certain situations, including a major depression that might just come. From there I realized that we must be really ready in any situation and at any time. Actually we can only try to avoid this, if it can't be avoided then prepare ourselves as best as possible.
I think we must be all braced for the worse possible outcome.
Should find some ways to earn some extra money. And hold on all the unnecessary expenses. Because  tough time is coming a head. With the Biden visit to Saudia there will be another episode of inflation.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
I don't think anybody can be fully prepared for the recession or great depression that is looking more and more like it will hit soon. You can only work with what you have and hope for the best. To be prepared at all you'll need money which a large percentage of people don't have
It is true those that do not have a lot of resources cannot really do much to prepare themselves for the recession that is coming, but those which are middle class can do so but they refuse to see the truth that is right in front of them, this is the time to settle all your debts and begin to save as much money as possible and yet this is not what we see, the middle class is most of the time living beyond their means which means they cannot save money either, so only those which are rich and the ones which are cautious will be able to have the tools to resits and even benefit from the recession that is coming.

it feels like the world leaders are taking us into this intentionally. Time to reset the balance books and re-distribute the wealth to a select few, while the rest of us scratch away to survive
That is the point well mentioned - rest of us scratch away to survive.
But I believe we all have to exclude the luxury from our lives and we need to live our life looking to fulfill our need only.

keep walking, Johnnie
If the great depression starts soon, it won't surprise me at all. I've heard from various sources about the possibility of this happening, but I don't think it will be allowed to happen. Governments of countries, especially those that are economically strong, are unlikely to want to allow a scenario with a great depression. Similar phenomena have already happened in history, and I don't think that there are those who want to repeat this. Therefore, governments will try to prevent this by using their knowledge and available "tools". Another thing is that this may not be enough. Wait and see. In any case, if the great depression is on "the way", then no one will be able to avoid its consequences.

Gona be interesting process to watch specially real estate collapse wich will surprise many of you and thats funny

The prices of valuable commodities and the world population are increasing. I think as these two indicators continue to increase, the need for housing will always be on the agenda. I won't say anything about luxury housing or private land prices, but I think the need for housing will be constant. Also, if the real estate bubble bursts in a world where the rich are getting richer, opportunities arise for those who need housing... Big market makers are creating an imbalance in prices by instilling fear. I don't think we're going to have a major depression. Surprisingly, I guess we will continue on our way. I am not very pessimistic about our future...

I know it's going to happen one day, but there's so much talk about a recession nowadays that I doubt it's going to hit this or next year. With problems in the economy it's that when people talk about it and are ready it never happens. Some examples are the projected real estate crash that people were talking about for the last 10 years, but we had a covid crash in 2020 that nobody expected.

This space is availlable for advertising
We are bombarded with so-called experts that are predicting a "Global economic collapse" almost every week.... and each of those so-called experts are shilling for some kind of asset or commodity (that they are invested in) to pump the price. Let's buy some bitcoins ....just in case something does go wrong, but let's avoid the "shilling" for Bitcoin as a safe haven to pump up the price.  Roll Eyes

We can be Doom's Day Preppers .... without having to influence others to do the same.... just be an example and they will follow on their own. (You just look like a crazy person to them, if you force the issue)

I think this is happening on a global scale. The inflation problem is getting worse day by day. And I see many places are still facing the risk of default through the economic indicators they provide, although I am quite peaceful at the moment as I am living in a country where the growth rate is very low. Economic development is at the top of the world, but price problems are escalating, jobs are shrinking, and investment channels are gradually becoming inefficient. I also have a thought that this period needs to spread a lot of knowledge about working for people as well as connecting people around the world to help those in need.

No, I’m not preparing for a “Crypto Great Depression” because I find it highly unlikely that it will happen. I am a firm believer in the utility of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in general. Is it possible that the market crashes and crypto currencies become essentially worthless?

I suppose so. But I find it highly unlikely considering how much an investment has poured in and will continue to come in from institutional, governmental and retail traders. The reality is crypto currencies are here to stay but we have to be patient with the price due to the shaky global economy.

Oil will go down
Go down in price? Or go down in distribution? Demand of oil will keep on increasing and those who own the oil rigs and distributors will keep on taking advantage of the high demands by implementing high value for it.
It will not go down, imo. If there's a good investment now, that is the target. As long as that US-Russia conflict is not fixed there will be shortage of oil supply and I doubt Russia will back down to their challenge.
Prepared? That's something that will depend on the economy. You may have kept millions of dollars but there's a chance it will lose its value if bad things happen.

Yeah this is not a big deal anymore. This shit is gonna happen now and then or more precisely every couple of decades when few governments are unable to handle their nations properly. Humans I tell, they are greedy, they will become over thinker over specific period of time and loose the situation out of hands.

I am not at all surprised with this and I already have doomsday preparation.

I was very much prepared since COVID situation itself. No hard barges.

Not just crypto but all others will follow

Yea dude no crap depressions, recessions, and other economic turbulence doesn't only affect cryptocurrencies. Tell us something else we don't know.

Oil will go down

Oh, wow! May your words be prophetic! May the heavens indeed make the prices of oil go down! It has been rising no end. The increasing prices of oil and oil products is causing a huge ripple effect on the local economy of my country. It's the reason why the cost of public transportation is now rising. And since all kinds of goods are also transported, their prices are also rising.

But where did you get this? Did you have some kind of a premonition? Did you see it in your crystal ball?

As others have stated there has been talk of a depression or recession for over two years now. This has been on the table ever since covid hit. Honestly you’re giving some bad advice here. Now is likely NOT the time to sell investments. There’s a good chance you’d be selling low, and markets will eventually bounce back.
