jFYI, according to the user guide you will need SMD soldering experience for significant overclocking. Keep in mind an USB device drawing more than 2.5W might damage the USB port/hub.
At this stage cgminer/BFGminer do not support the U1. You will need a modified cgminer version, just check the user guide where to find it.
And last but not least, in case you need the source (e.g. for compiling on a rpi), here you go: https://github.com/bitmaintech/cgminer/
Use --enable-bmsc as configuring option.

I am in doubt if i will even have time to set any up, they arrive with me on the 31st.
