This is by far the best report I have read concerning the adoption of blockchain in recent times. UAE has been known to be a forward thinking government in every areas especially Dubai taking the forefront in any development shaping the future. The differentiating factor here is that its backed with objective, calculative and measurable benefit that cannot be refuted as against those vague benefit being circulated in other climes that are considering the adoption of blockchain technology.

Not only that, actions are being taken, contracts are signed, firms are being enlisted coupled with supports to be provided that cuts across every levels of the society. This is another confirmation that blockchain is here to stay while bitcoin will continue to flourish along side.

That's the beauty of Blockchain technology because its really change how data is being save and stored. It can literally saved millions (in the case of UAE billions worth) of dollars. The only drawback is that it can also reduce employment because they don't need to hire people just to go on that documents because the technology will handle everything. But its all good if government can save billions and channel that funds to more productive used to help their people (although they are very rich nation.)

we've heard about UAE adopting Blockchain some time ago, and it turns out they are planning some strategies for the next few years to improve their economy and their quality of life. This strategy is based on some basic principles, focusing on government efficiency, advanced legislation, and global entrepreneurship. Their plan to create a special bitcoin pasae will begin to be realized.

It's a good news that governments around the world are exploring the possibilities of blockchain technology through mainstream adoption. But we also have to keep in mind that it does not talk about bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. We already know that blockchain has immense possibilities, it is just we need organized efforts to recognize those. I hope UAE government will set some good examples of blockchain use to the rest of the world.

Unrelated but the way the author has mentioned "his highness" everytime, is laughable in context of the rest of the world.
Yes, its really good to see that they are already considering blockchain technology to be adopted and would be used because they do able to see the benefit that it gives.Second, you are actually right that it has nothing to do with bitcoin and other altcoins in the market which means its not really related at all when we do talk about price effects but somehow they would really gain idea that cryptocurrencies do exist and possibly might consider to engage with it.Its their choice on doing such thing or not. Sooner or later we would able to see more news similar to this one which a country do recognize blockchain technology.

That is such a good news . Blockchain is finally getting some good recognition .
This is certainly not the first instance where blockchain is used as there are many governments who are against bitcoin have accepted the technology behind blockchain and it wont be the last, UAE government is always proactive than the rest of the gulf regimes and it is a really good initiative, but it has nothing to do with bitcoin.

Blockchain was actually made to make things easier and more efficient . This is true that it would save a lot of time for so many purposes if used in a proper way by the people and in business . Moreover , this might also initiate the progress of crypto currency acceptance around the country.

If this will be in action on 2012, UAE is another progressive country and I can't wait to see that this country will start adopting blockchain technology.

This will make it's neighbor countries follow their action about adopting blockchain and what's good in it is they can see the advantage of adopting the tech.

If it can save a lot of money from their government this will surely be loved by the government officials and can also help the crypto market in purpose.
