Co-founder of Uber is Launching His Own Cryptocurrency: Garrett Camp, co-founder of Uber and founder of the accelerator/venture fund Expa, named the cryptocurrency “Eco”. Camp hopes the coin will be used as a global currency used in the transaction of everyday payments. 50% of the initial one trillion tokens it issues will be given to the first 1 billion users who sign up.

okay to , it would be a big factor to spread knowledge and legitability of bitcoin here in our country.

sana may mag invest din na internet provider sa crypto and provide a good connection ,that would be a good partnership.

para mabilis ang mga online transactions.

Hopefully Uber in crypto will also be successful like what they have right now with their UBER Taxi. As far as I know UBER already merged to GRAB so they already as one. I think that if a lot of us will also patronize their coins then I think it will also become successful in the future. As of now, they still need to promote more and advertise more to have a lot of users.

Right move lang. Kasi imbes na ibang currency ang gamitin why not yung sarili nyang currency. Kaso yun nga malaking sugal to sa part nya kasi kinakalaban nya ibat ibang currency.

The numbers on this sound kind of insane, right? I'd want to know a lot more before I put any money into it. If it has a good whitepaper and team, sure. On the flip side, isn't the guy who made uber an awful human being? There was a really depressing episode about it on the dollop.

I like when big companies are trying to invest in these kinds of things upang mas mapadali ang ating buhay

Yes agree with this.  It matters a lot when big companies declare their confidence in this technology kse it gives big assurance to the consumers as well.  I hope this plan of Uber will succeed and be a precedent to other companies as well.

Business Driven CryptoCurrency based on Assest

can someone help me understand.

Based on their info

One trillion eco tokens will initially be issued, 50 per cent of which will be given to the first 1bn verified humans who sign up. Of the remainder, 20 per cent will go to universities, 10 per cent to advisors, 10 to Camp's strategic partners and 10 per cent will be held by a newly formed Eco Foundation, responsible for the cryptocurrency's oversight,

Well may nakita pa akong ibang link feel free to look at pero sakin mas magiging ma ayos to kung maitutupad ito which is mas magiging madali.

Link: https://www.google.com.ph/amp/s/www.thestreet.com/amp/story/14287261/1/is-uber-about-to-accept-bitcoin-directly.html

Since nagmerge na ang grab at uber and knowing the fact that both are international companies it is indeed a good idea that they consider making their own cryptocurrency that aims to be used globally. Imagine if you are used on riding a carpool, you can used your smartphone to pay for it hassle free within the country or in any country where grab and uber also operates.

Ayos to ah.
