How different is the underlying network architecture from EOS (i.e. is anything fundamentally changed post-fork, or were things just added to the base layer) ?
New types of transactions have been added, a class of Importance calculating nodes (lets call them power rankers and see if the name sticks). Dynamic emission algorithm is built above like a plugin, but the importance is being implemented into the default eos voting mechanics instead of pure stake.
EOS Nation team became first U°OS block producer and launched full node of U Community platform! This is just the beginning of great way! I hope soon will be launch.

I really like the idea, when people will realise the value of uos... People will value uos more. Thanks for giving us ucommunity.
As i see, developers have added the social layer to blockchain, letting them immutably store all the social interactions on the blockchain and process them to find the value a person creates for the network, i.e. person's importance. This is very good improvement, in my opinion.

do you have a date for the release of the beta? is there a roadmap? Where's the list of what's already been done? as far as i understand future airdrop is not for earning money, it's more about opportunity to have an attempt to involve in the ecosystem
AS developers answered, they currently in a closed alpha stage, that's basically internal - for the team and advisors. But of course developers are working on a public roadmap. Who will be qualified to own uos tokens? Is it for kickico only or is there another mechanism? How many uos tokens exist before mainnet? And what do I need to do to own uos tokens?
About tesnet activities - You can run nodes, search for bugs or algorithm flaws, come up with valuable suggestions, and you can be active on the U.Community platform.
Once more question. Is it real to create a messenger on blockchain? I mean will it be needful for community? as I understand it should save all chats, so, could it be created by security department?
The airdrop phase of UOS core token distribution will happen closer to the launch of UOS mainnet. As developers are launching their beta soon, it may take a few months.

then what is the purpose of the establishment of this "U" community? How many members have it? What benefits do I get if I join this "U" community?
now is not the most successful time for the development of projects/ico. people are not involved at all. on the hype wave it would be easier. A good idea to use blockchain in the social interaction but not one project is yet used everywhere and universally. For social network little popularity (only crypto community) is a crash.
